just got my DFP today, works great! love the FF, didn't realize the backstretch of Circuit de la Sarthe was so bumpy!

but i also discovered that it is nearly impossible to drive with the wheel in your lap,:dunce: cant wait to get my cockpit built......

You mean you can't wait to build your cockpit, right? That's half the fun!

Ok, i'm new here. Anyway i looking to Buy the Logitech Driving Force Pro in about 3-4 weeks and was wondering if they still have then in highstreet Stores as i'll rather buy one from there.

And does that grip system rip your Carpet in any way.

Thanks

it might if you have a very fragile carpet. mine has tiny little indentations but nothing too noticable.
you can probably get a DFP really cheap nowadays. i reccomend getting some good pedals though because the dfp ones will most likely break after a few months. my dfp pedals need a tuneup. there are some permanent fixes out there for the pedals i am thinking about trying

I'm having the same problem ass "skyazen". it works in the configuration, but the minute get get out of there the wheel dosent respond.
Maybe many people has the same problem..its really anoing having spend all those money on a thing that dosent even work the way its supposed to.

hello! i have problem with my DVP. when i drive any kind of racing game on PC when i try to shift to higher gear with a buton behind the wheel it shift for two or three gears at the time:ill: does anybody have any solution what could be wrong?? please help:sly:

sorry for my bad english

yeah its a problem with the upshift paddle. i have two DFPs and one of them has the same problem. when you press the paddle it presses down onto a button. if there is a gap between the button and the paddle then it will register as being pressed more than once. So i guess you just need to find some way to close the gap between the button and the paddle.

Hey

In japan i believe logitech is called logicool

They have the 900 degree dfp as well but it is called a gt force pro.

My question is, is it the same thing as the dfp and does it work on pal games?

Also does it work on pc just like the dfp?

I am asking this because i can get it realy cheap here in Australia because most people think its a cheap copy but i've had a look at it.

Look forward to the reply

Thnks Luke

I have my DFP since september, and while playing TRD3, I noticed it always went a little left when I held the wheel straight.

It's also seems to have more resistance when I try to turn the wheel to the right . It's like if it was incorrectly calibrated.

Any suggestions on what to do?

I just got 100%. gonna finish the rest of the licences then buy a DFP. really looking forward to it. Before i get one, are there any major faults with it or is it generally a solid piece of kit? and is it gonna rock?!

Hey guys

On the 110 V versions what is the output of the power pack. The amps and the volts.

Also the same for the 220 to 240v version. Whats the voltage output and amps of the powerpack.

Looking forwars to a reply

hey guys

i got the DFP yesterday, and i got one question. HOw can i change the mode from 900 degree to 200? cause in racing you never 900...

i looked on the first page and its written, by pressing the R3-SELECT-RIGHT PADDLE.

but, it doesnt work.

i need help please.

chris

what do you mean? with the race cars it adjusts sensativity automaticly in GT4. if you use 200 it will be too sensative.

Yesterday i first used my new DFP.

I have to say that I was a bit annoyed by the stength of the force feedback.

I saw that there is a key combination for reducing this but the seach of the forum can't help me much...

As I've been drifting for year with real cars I didn't expect a wheel that says that provides more realism to apply that much power on my hands...

Unless I've been driving junk...:)

Of course I've tried and changed the settings of the game. But I would like it to be less powerfull...

Is there something I don't know?

Yes I've the Power steering on, the active steering off, the simulation/amateur as the game says do not apply on the DFP...

But somewere I saw that you can adjust the force feedback between 60%-100%. Is there an adjustment on the wheel?

Thankyou for your reply!

i was wondering if someone could either send me a good link for the pc drivers for the driver force pro or if they could the drivers to my email address here theman3564@gmail.com. thank you i can't wait to try this on my computer it works so well in gt4 and gt3 and most wanted and some other games i have for ps2.

I need some help with the DFP! I can't enable the 900° mode... I pressed and held down select+R3+Right paddle and nothing happened.? some help with this would be appreciated

You know, I want a DFP. I'll have to find a way to get rid of my Momo and Mad Catz wheel so I could fully enjoy the driving experience GT4 has to offer (I'm tired of the lack of car-to-driver feedback from the Mad Catz). I've heard that the brake pedal sometimes gets stuck, and the wheel doesn't return to centre when you release it. What other tips do you have for using this wheel?

hello , i'd like to buy a (secondhand) DFP but i heard of some problems with these wheels and i'd like to know if they are correct :

--the 'hinges' of the pedals seem to wear out after extensive use but that could be fixed by regularly calibrating the pedals ???

--the wheel gets a bit of 'play' after extensive use ???

and some additional questions ?

What is the standard warranty on these wheels (in europe) and for example : will the pedals be replaced if they are worn and warranty is still valid ?

Can you disable the force feedback or does this ruin the experience ?

thanx a lot everybody
