may i ask how the spot race works?? do you actually race online, or post your lap times??

Actually we don't know where the race will be, and I can asure you Roj, if it wasn't touge and we were at say GVS I would probably own you, this car just turns, and turns, and turns in longer, higher speed corners. Even in touge tune I think it went just under 1'55 lap times at GVS.

A second faster than what I can currently do there. :indiff: Although in my defense I have no idea how to drive GVS. :dunce: I'm going to keep pushing until I hit 1'55 though :P

My NSX-R just hit 1300miles, 37 more and it shall be 1337! :lol:
 
:confused: What's significant about 1337 miles?
It may have gone as low as 1'53, I really can't remember, but the gears were a little too short for the track. I seem to have lost some of my skill on GVS, but I'm blaiming my busted up analogue stick. One thing more to look forward to in GT5, a new controller to belt to pieces while racing :P
 
Hey mafia, I've got some news on your T1 time, its not exactly good though...

I was going through my judging posts earlier this morning, and I noticed I had made a mistake on 2 T1 times, yours and Soprano's

Turns out, I somehow got them mixed up with each other, I don't know how, probably because I was watching T.V. at the time, but I honestly mixed them up despite the difference, Your offical T1 time mafia is 0'38.938 at cruise pace, I will however still make a TA run with it to show what is possible with it 👍

Edit* holden, "1337" is a geek thing for "Elite", I still don't really get it myself

:lol: Nah, it's cool. I've won El Capitan with it beating motorsport Elise, and I'm just winning the cash up on Amalfi with it right now so I can buy some more damn skylines!! So I know it's quick enough. I can't flog that dead horse any harder, I might throw the tune on an S15 or find a 10.0km example if I can to get those extra ponies it seems to need. And no, I'm not using it on a K's, it wheelspins too much with it. :irked:
 
Ok, before I forget for the 5th time, Mafia, the fastest T1 you I got your S14 to go is 0'38.017, about the range you mentioned before, so its pretty good for a S14
 
I've built 4 cars and purchased a few others, today hasn't been the best day for playing though considering have neither TV or PS2.
I learnt, and this is for any judge, that VTiRoj's Evo needs a Port Polish Heads.
 
Not just that Holdenboy, check out his FC-LSD then his AYC specs. ;) Can only have 1 or the other, NOT BOTH ROJ!!! :lol:

And just for the record, I tested with the AYC fitted. :cool:

Also, both Skylines I tested have been surprises so far, hope that continues. :)

Front LSD is adjustable when you have an AYC fitted, as the AYC is only on the rear diff. Hence him listing only one set of LSD specs.

You might want to redrive his car.

I tried it 4 times. What happens is this.

Fit FC LSD and tune it. Then go and fit the AYC. You will then see the diff go back to standard. Go back to refit FC LSD, the AYC comes off. :odd: Turns into a revolving door.

I'll take pics and show if I have to.
 
I was a little suss on it at first too, then I remembered something Greycap said a while back, clicked on LSD with AYC equipped and voila. :dopey: I'll continue getting the cars ready today, and maybe set some hotlaps.

Heh heh, your car deserved it, it was great. I bet you were expecting a bad placing after what I said in Red Line eh? Then I imagine you were scrolling down the results, anticipation building as your car didn't appear and you got higher in the ranks, then bam. You see your car in 1st place :sly:

I should be done by tomorrow night. Gone through the rest of the other cars as I didn't want to be bored to death testing 4 Skylines in a row!! But some very surprising times and results so far. Barring the last two Skylines being better, I think I've got my Top 3 locked down too, and it's slightly different to Holdenboys. But it is very very close. Only 2pts. seperate the Top 3 in my eyes at the moment due to the cars very different performance ratings and comparing times vs power & handling.
 
I've got 3 more cars to do, then mine'll be up. Probably will either be tomorrow or Sunday.

To N4HS: In all honesty, I wasn't expecting rave reviews of my car. I think 8th works; as long as I wasn't dead last in everyone's eyes, I'm happy.

I started judging RWD then kinda lost intrest in GT4 for a short while. Might pick up on judging although I'm not sure I'd be a good judge anyway. :indiff:

So overall for me, my Accord did crap, my Evo did crap, and my NSX-R did pretty well. Moral of the story for me: spend more time on tuning.
 
Although judging is no where near done, my ASL did well, my Accord did well, my 3000GT is doing OK I think, considering it is a 3000GT! :lol: Moral of the story, I have mastered GT4 at long last, time to get better at GT5. :scared: I think I'm crap at it :nervous: Especially pro physics. I need to unlock QTS so I can use my strengths to my advanatage. I'd like to race someone good, so far I've only raced cheaters, who if I get out of ramming range I leave for dead.
 
1 good showing doesn't mean you've 'mastered' it yet Holdenboy, so don't put that GT4 copy away just yet. :P If this spot race thing goes ahead, look at your name on my hitlist. :sly:

I'm in the boat of waiting for GT5 proper till I get my PS3 and by that time hopefully the price drops a bit. I don't think they'll stay at $700 for another year. :cool:
 
Did you forget VTC already? :D Spot race, bring it on! Who would do all the test driving for that? It would have to be 1 un-biased driver.
