Can we not send replays? I haven't looked into it before, I was just spouting out ideas.
They can now be exported as a save file can't they? I swear I saw an 'Export' button when I was doing my latest photo shoot?

Yeah, I was mostly thinking about the old Group C cars too, however I didn't want to make it too restricted.I like this theme, could be good. But i'd add the restriction of no F1 cars and no redbulls...

You'd also need to think about people who don't have the internet on their PS3, as some of these themes wouldn't work for them
I only mention this as my router is refusing to connect to my PS3 atm..
Crap, I forgot who had the closest vote margin, anyone remember? The winner of the closest vote margin gets both Trans Cammers, and Mitch/Boab get the Gold F40's
Closest vote margin match:
2.0 Semi-Final Match 2 - DarkR (44) vs. fkxpro (44)
2.0 Final Match - bmxmitch (49) vs. DarkR (49)
I think it all went very well: I can't think of any particular way to improve things, Luis, I think you have this down to a science 👍
I would like to donate any prizes that may be coming my way to fkxpro, however: a worthy adversary, and most likely, considering the amount I get to play GT5 these days, he would get more use out of them than I would
Thanks to all who participated, be it submissions, sponsoring, or even just voting, for making this another success!
SVXA big congratulations to the winners, and a big thank you to Luis for doing all of the hard work to host this.
A bit of a heads up; would it be possible to change the photohost website to something like Flickr? Some really great shots got harmed with the photohost website that was used.

Totally agree with you, I think Flickr should be mandatory for all Photomode competition participant. It is some much easier to use and without all those porn popups lol
The only thing about dropbox is having to download an external program (or am I wrong?).The best thing to help curb multi-accounting and poll swaying is to continue to bring up the issue to either you, Luis, or me, of people are suspicious of any activity. I've also started keeping a closer eye each round, and using the tools available to mods to keep track. Unfortunate, but required.
About image hosting, while I like Flickr, the pathetically small image size for non-paying members is unfortunate. Might I suggest Dropbox?
How so? Can you elaborate it further?
To me I think picasa web is an excellent image host, I can have multiple image size just by changing the link code (s000 for full size and s500 for previews), that way I don't have to host two different sized images and it's way quicker than flickr method. The drawback is (and I have been put out of polls because of this (which I think it's pretty stupid)) the preview image quality is not the best, thus it kind of serves my intention of people actually seeing the full sizes, and I can assure you (99%) that the quality of the image uploaded (in full size) is the same as has the one I have saved in my hdd.
Personally, I don't like flickr, the ridicule limit of 1024px for non paying members and the limit of images uploaded before they start breaking links are huge drawbacks to me. Oh and being the reason bmxmitch picture was so jagged and over-sharpened, made my opinion about it even worse.
Yeah, I agree. Some pictures, when being viewed in a smaller size, looked better than they are in full size, while some pics are just vice versaI think potentially it can put one entry at a disadvantage to another depending on the quality of the compressed preview.
1) the lower division teams (or in GTP's scenario, those who never won any comp) fight it out in rounds 1 and 2
2) the premier league teams (past comp winners) start playing in round 3, then it would be knocking out all the way to the finish
Well, the objective, like in all competitions, is for people to see the images in full size, that is the image that really should matter and should enter in a vote decision. That or we better start to shorten images up to little thumbnail sized images, in hope that people will click on them and see it's full size.but just my own opinion on the quality of preview images; how many of the voters actually view each photo in its full size?

Yes, that's is and was my primary objective, giving more people a chance to take part, I am just a little afraid it loses interest by being too long.Personally, I think that the tournament should have as many people as you can fit in it. Sure it got a little long, but 32 more people got a chance to be in it.
For the next season (I'd love to know when),I was thinking of a structure like how is the FA Cup in England played:
1) the lower division teams (or in GTP's scenario, those who never won any comp) fight it out in rounds 1 and 2
2) the premier league teams (past comp winners) start playing in round 3, then it would be knocking out all the way to the finish
