I need to pay more attention,.. I didn't even realise Grand Valley was a pre season race! Haha :D

But that's good news! Just one extra combo to have fun on :)

Lap board looks really good too. Well done everybody. Times are coming on strong Damon, SuperG. đź‘Ť Another weeks worth of practice and the guys nearer the bottom will bunch up a bit more too. Very impressive.

And if I might offer some words for while you're in the final stages of practice this week, for those really who have never driven an endurance race before, it will be exactly what it says on the tin. An endurance. Body and mind. It's not a test of how fast a lap you can put in, or how quickly you can overtake the car in front, its about staying power. I will guarantee that if you keep it clean, stay cool and calm, take it easy instead of chasing tenths, you will finish the race! And you will finish surprisingly better that you might imagine! IF, you can do all of those things ;) It's a sore lesson I wish I'd have learnt a lot quicker in my racing life time, heck I still have to repeat it to myself even now!

Just remember, things don't always go to plan, do your best to see that they do, but have fun while you do it.

Don't anybody register an 18.7 before I do either :P lol.

Haha, yes this is a pre season race. No points on offer at this one. I always try to run a warm up race, so that everyone gets a good feel for the car before we start with the serious business. The full calendar for the season is below, with the different car variants added for each race.

One more thing. If any of you are practicing during the week, use the club lobby, so you can practice together. Please note though, that I cannot accept new fastest laps outside of official practice.

OK, but allow me to share my 'bestie' from last night which I'm quite proud of. I felt much more comfortable last night with my bogey corners (1 & 2) and was able to put in a series of consistent laps around the 1.20 mark and a 1:19.383 puts me right in the mix.

Had some enjoyable practice with the crew in the image below.

Currently I feel more confident that I can be competitive with the back end of the pack at least, although sometimes I still try and push a little too hard, which as you'll all know has its consequences!

Well done Alistair. Paul is leaving me behind. So you and I might be going toe to toe, seeing as you are picking up quite the affinity for this SC5 car đź‘Ť

Awesome time mate. I see Shin also got a new best time. Keep up the good work guys whilst I put the finishing touches to the graphics.

The way Canary was driving last night I think I'll have a lot of difficulty catching him in the race, he was on very good form, so you might be on your own GC lol.

Decided to see what a race distance felt like, started on cm for 12 laps, they ain't bad! :) Then pitted for my cs, and off I went. Even with low fuel (used about qtr a tank) and relatively fresh tyres the pace was good, consistant laps all the way. Even managed to stay on track the whole time! Haha

OK guys, the graphics are coming along well. Car profile pictures are done. These will be used in the grid graphics, and the spotters guide. Tomorrow I will be doing the podium pictures. Some of you have sent me new pics. If anyone else wants a refreshed podium picture, please get it to me by tomorrow evening.
