Here is my pic. I was going to post a picture of just my back (it will be all you guys see;)), but that would be rude.

All done. Thanks for the podium pics guys. OP is now updated with 2015 drivers and spotter guide. It has took a bit longer than I hoped, but I wanted it all ready for this weekends race. I was hoping to get some GT time tonight, but that will have to wait until tomorrow, when official practice resumes at 8.30pm.

Also please note a change in the OP to the tyre regulations description. The faster tyre for each race is now classed as the red tyre. The slower tyre for each race is now classed as the blue tyre.

Hey guys, not had time to practice at all this week, been super busy so its a good job this is just a pre season race coming up! Feeling slightly under prepared. I'll be along for the fun on Sunday however. Should be a good event considering all thr sessions that have gone before it 👍

Y'all be picking on the paddy's next. lol.

Fair play to you ade, for the work you put in2 this.

My nephew pushed me into joining gtp a couple of months ago and so glad he did. It's a completely different world compared to open lobby's which just left me frustrated and annoyed. It's nice not to be rammed out of it every 2nd corner!

In hushed tones... "I'm actually Scottish"

Drivers montage updated with correct flag. 👍

Really? Are you sure. I did notice your time at the bottom of Canarys picture the other day.:mischievous:

Thanks mate. Im glad you are enjoying the ride so far. It will get even better once the season kicks off in a few weeks.

Right guys, I have made a slight amendment to the OP regarding the practice sessions. No changes in the procedure, just a new rule regarding when official practice sessions will take place, and that only times set in official practice will be eligible.

Tonights official practice will open at 8.30pm.

I think you meant "eligible" lol

But yes, fair play to you for all your efforts Ade, it's pure dead brilliant this series!

Cracking session tonight. You could've knocked me down with a feather when I exited the pits in the last race after 4 laps on cm tyres and I was still leading *shock*. Then I let a couple by in the last lap, well nobody likes a show-off. Speaking of which, did I really do a 1.19.7 on cms in race one, or did I dream it? :-s

Cracking Friday practice. More records were smashed tonight, with Megg finally getting the 18 he has been looking for. SokaGT joined us and was soon smashing into the 18s aswell. We also ran a few races on the CM tyre, with Soka setting the bench with a 20.2xx. We also ran a final 10 lap race with a pit stop. The pit stop at GVE (R) has a fast entry after the final corner, but be careful not to enter too fast, as you may compromise your stop.

With Soka joining us for practice tonight, Sundays race is looking like a full grid if everyone who has put in a time attends. @jammyrex may have to forfeit this pre season race, as he has not submitted a practice time. This will also depend on whether GC Gary is OK to take part. If he is not up to the race, there will be a place on the grid for Jammy.

Final practice will be from 8.30pm tomorrow, and will follow the same programme as tonight.

Oh well. I was convinced I'd not been able to switch from cm to cs before the race start. But heigh ho. At least that explains why I was in the 21s when I actually WAS on the primes. Or red. Or blue. Or round black. Yes, I definitely remember being on round black ones, some of the time, anyway. I think.

Ive been through the replays from last nights practice. The updated time table is below. Capt_D has taken the purple time from Third_Reign, with Soka also adding an impressive 1:18.871 on his first run at GVE(R). We now have 13 racers inside 1 second of each other. There will be a final chance to make any improvements tonight at 8.00pm.

I would also like to wish GC Gary, Theewar and Goodwolf the very best of luck as they will be doing Q2 for the GTPlanet 24 hour race at Daytona. Best of luck guys.

One final thing. We are still getting some visibility issues. Last night Weescotman and Canary could not see each other. Please ensure all steps are taken to minimize this, even for practice sessions.

STEPS TO FOLLOW BEFORE ENTERING LOBBY.

1. Make sure time and date is set by internet on PS3.

2. Check that UPnP is available on the network settings screen of your PS3.

upnp.PNG

If it says Unavailable, you will have to turn it on, on your router settings. My router is a BT home hub 5. UPnP can be found on the advanced settings tab, then firewall. Other routers should be similar. Here is a link with more info.

3. Reset PS3.

4. Clear PS3 system cache. (In game on home screen, press start, then options. Then go down to Network, and clear system cache.

5. Enter lobby, race and have fun.

The UPnP is the most important aspect of this. There is nothing more frustrating than drivers not being visible to one another, especially on race nights, when we need to stick to a schedule.

As stated above, final practice for this pre season race will open at 8.00pm tonight.

My household's router does not support UPnP (Speedport W701V), which might be why I'm never able to see weescotman and often Goodwolf. Since its a shared router, I'm very hesitant to forward ports manually.

I have my ports forwarded to my PS3, as well as UPnP enabled and have no problems. Would it be worth a try, to see if it made a difference. You can always reset it back afterwrads.

Awesome final practice. The racing was very close again, with 10 on track. SokaGT set the fastest lap, and Im not sure if there was any time left on the track at all. Shin did mention in an earlier practice, what the optimum lap could be, and I think that Soka probably was as close as can be to that with his very purple time tonight.

1:18.476
If I could make that any bigger, and maybe with flashing lights, I would. What a time!

Final practice results will be published tomorrow, along with final room opening times for the race.
Massive thanks guys for all the practice you have put in. I got a feeling this is going to be a race to remember.
