So strange. Only 5 months passed.
Only 5 months passed, but the situation in Syria has changed seriously. The results are much more notable than the year of US-led coalition's work, IMO. There's finally a chance for the political solution of the conflict when there's ceasefire settled by Russia and US.

The maintenance of the large airforce group is getting too expensive to the Russian economy, I suppose. Anyway, it's not a complete withdrawal from Syria, it's reduction of the deployed force. Some units will still remain to secure the bases, observe the ceasefire kept by the 'moderate' forces, and continue airstrikes on the 'non-moderate', those with black banners who did not join any ceasefire.

T-90 survives a hit of a TOW-2A anti-tank missile.

Reportedly, this is the one:

The crew survived, so the armor wasn't penetrated.
Contact-5 dynamic armor works well...

Got hit right above the right "eye". Not much tank was there to hit. Just stuff and protruding dynamic armor.

ISIS claims stadium bombing in Iraq, last night.
29 dead 60 injured.
I talked about it to a colleague on Tuesday, In June we have the European championships football in France, which lasts for a month and will attract thousands of spectators to full stadiums.

I already see it coming that they will cancel crowds and play in empty stadiums, if this crap keeps on going on inside Europe...

Are there any sort of procedures nations must follow if a group has committed genocide? Such as accepting refugees or what not?
There are. However, the only nation that is allowing refugees on record (that borders Syria) is only allowing them safe passage to the EU by way of Greece.

That brings into question the true intent of the refugee crisis. The refugees themselves want to travel to Europe, but nowhere near their neighbors like true refugees.

Not only that, they all want to go to the countries in the north of Europe also, with better economies and welfare systems.

Yep, I heard the historic part of the city was retaken, but there is still fight in the other parts.
UPD: SAA now claims the retake of the entire city.

There's also a story you might have heard of, about a Russian Special Forces officer who called an airstrike on himself after being surrounded by ISIS. :(

But, seriously, it's certainly better than being prisoned by them and staring in another movie by "ISIS Pictures".

He's now on the verge of calling an airstrike on himself in order to blow off the others altogether.
