Feeling hot hot hot...

It's sunny and 93 degrees F today.

I'm actually sitting at the library right now to escape the heat since it's air conditioned here.
 
It hit 105 today, with the humidity still up there, but it is down from yesterday. Tomorrow, will be hotter. The hottest day of the week.

At 20:00, it's 90. The mosquitoes (west nile case near our house yesterday) are out, so we couldn't do anything outside today. I just got done soaking in the pool for three hours. Finished dinner, jumped in and been there since.

I guess it's around 95 in Portland currently. It actually got cloudy this afternoon, soon after passing 100. Now the forecast says high-97 for next couple of days instead of 104, so I'm glad.

I was thinking about catching a movie after work tonight, since it was supposed to get crazy hot, but I think I'll do that tomorrow(that "Lady in the Water" movie).

That was yesterday...

Right now, it's 108. It hit 110. It's never been that hot here. It was pretty damn hot back in 1980 and 1981. But, nothing compares to how it's been this year.

All areas around my house that have windows are too hot to be in. Even though the AC is on full blast, it's about 82 in my house! That's so bulls***! I'm right now taking a break from shopping online for a new industrial AC unit (no joke).

I've got the AC on full blast AND a fan on me. I went into the bathroom, it was like a sauna in there. So, I unplugged the TV (:D) and plugged in a fan. Didn't help much; just blew hot, stinky air on me.

109 degrees. My AC is on, and I drank over a gallon of fluids from 2am til now. At my job it was an oven. I had to pace myself the whole morning.
 
It's 88 in Portland right now, but I think it's just over 90 in my apartment. I'm gonna go cool down at the movie theater tonight..... probably by myself. :(
 
IOt's hot and clammy today, and I'm off to play football in half an hour or so, which will leave me in a coma probably.
 
Wow, the weather right now is getting weird. It was 100 at 10AM and right now it's ten 'til 12 at 95 degrees. Odd. It's more humid, though. A lot more. Perhaps there's a storm that's heading our way. I hope so. We could use the rain and the cooler weather.

Inside the house it's still 82 degrees, though. AC on, and fans on.

EDIT: It's now 12:30 and the temperature dropped to 86! And, it's starting to drizzle, just like I said it was going to! Damn, I'm good!
 
We had a cold front move through Friday night with big storms and the whole bit the weekend was a good mid-70s. It felt nice.
 
It's finally raining here now. It's about time. It'll still be around 90, though. I'm sure the humidity will be low, right? :rolleyes:
 
Well, the Met Office said yesterday the heatwave will probably continue for most of this week at least, with temperatures peaking on Wednesday. I read today they're saying it could nudge 100F then. ;)
 
It's cooler today, around 98 degrees, but the humidity is higher, so it doesn't feel much like a break. The house is cooler again, around 76, with the AC never being turned off for three weeks, now. But, it feels sticky, and musty in here. Outside is worse, though.

Again, I've never seen it this humid or hot, ever. The last five or six Summers have been extremely cool, so I guess we were do for a change.
 
Well, it was cool 2 nights ago (about 60 degrees), but it has since warmed up to a hot and humid 90 degrees. It stormed this morning at 6 AM and was supposed to storm around 3 PM, it is 3:05, and the sky is blue.
