I found at least one guy who is happy with new Xbox One. And it's features.

Finally i get it now.

That`s an official M$ spokesman in nerd stealth mode. He put on his fatsuit and fake teeth for awesome lisp effect.

Good video! 👍

Although I personally see the last and most important part in a negative way (not the cod ending).

I bet M$/XBOX One persons responsible get scared ****less a bit with all those reactions, "rumours" after their "big presentation". Feels like a ****storm. Gamers feel punked.

Nobody (except Francis, video above) likes their TV box. Showing the middle fingers to indie game developers and used games users didn´t raise a cheer. Must-be-online policy (always or less doesn`t matter here) - no one really enjoyed it.

A lot of work before E3 starts.

You clearly miss the sarcasm hence why he says I am just not the target demographic at the end.

Am I the only one who likes the Xbox One's design? I mean I don't like that I can't put it up on my shelf because there's a vent on top, but other than that, I like the finish and that it looks like a small form factor PC.

I don't have any problem with it (there have certainly been uglier consoles, like the PS3 Super Slim), but I do have to wonder if "VCR/DVD player design that guarantees people will stack things on it + Top mounted exhaust fan + Casual target market" was the greatest idea.

Shall we start guessing about potential failure rates?

Xbox was always weak when it comes to games but this time they are going for casual, entertaiment box in a big way.

Also this time performance is even bigger in favor of Playstation. I remember last time Xbox was easier to make games and had better graphics chip. Although PS3 had little more horsepower inspite of complex design, weaker graphics chip. But very powerful cell processor, made up for it. This time it is pretty straight forward.

Because of GT and other PS games. PS4 is easy choice :)

 What was weak about the 360?

Xbox One may be a total failure of a launch but the previous console wasn't bad and catered to a wide range of genres pretty well.

I mean they have very few games. Forza, Halo comes to mind but much weaker if you compare with Sony and Nintendo. Although I think they said 15 games in 1 year ? So may be they are trying to address it. However that will also include Kinect games.

I must have played a different console then as I'm not sure which PlayStation FPS franchise was stronger than Halo was.

Forza didn't sell nearly as much as Gran Turismo but a weaker game? Sorry, but I just don't see it, or that 360 had very few games.

Hopefully it heats up that much.

Seems that the vintage blockish design comes back. In the broadest sense it reminds me of my old Colecovision console.
Probably M$ is ahead of one`s time. Far ahead...

I found this quite funny, someones sarcastic tweet being used as way to promote why Xbox One makes it a better way to watch TV on Xbox Official Twitter . Link to article about it.

Would look so much better whithout the grill top. Other than that it looks cool. Like the old school styling, hopefully th PS4 will take elements from the fat PS2.

I figured it out, it changes into futuristic shapes...but only when connected to online...and only after you have bought the futuristic shape changing software. Then you can see the true Xbox One shape that is out of this world.

We'll see. Depends how you define a small minority

People said what you're saying about 1080p against 720p. I think it will be significant portion upgrading in two years, 20-30% an upward trend. I bought my 1080p set in 2007 along with 100s of millions in 2007/2008 and due for an upgrade soon. 720p sets got phased out, its how manufacturing and competition works. Not many held on to their 720p sets.

1080p screens are nonsense for current consoles since 2006 to today. affordable 1080p sets started appearing in 2006. Doesn't stop people buying new sets because either the time for a new one rolls up or they want the latest tech. Many current console games are sub 720p.

I'm not sure why you seem to be focusing on video games when it comes to people buying their TV sets. For most people the TV set is still defined by TV and Video. People bought 1080 sets because 1080 TV and movies existed for them to watch on it since 2005, 2004 in some places.

With no 4k TV broadcasts and little to no 4k video people aren't going to be big adopters of 4k TVs.

Gotta love the headline. When I first heard it was to be called "One" I thought it was some misunderstanding. But that was actually it: "Xbox One". How does a stupid name like that make it through? It's like they don't wanna know of their previous products anymore and are ashamed "so let's start fresh". What was wrong with "Xbox 720"?

I sure hope Microsoft looks at the things they are doing wrong here and somewhat reverses them. This probably will not be a day one purchase, there seems to be too much confusion, and it seems that the One is extremely anti consumer. Hopefully I'm wrong but I'm buying a PC with the Xbox One and PS4 money I was saving.

Perfect because I love steak. Now instead of using the George Forman grill, I can use the Xbox One. The side vent must be where the grease drains. 👍

Why didn't they call it Xbox 3?
Exactly. Worst console name ever.

This is pretty hilarious, I edited out the cursey wordies for the good of GTP 'cause I just had to share it:

That was very good.

Not sure if this was posted yet but I found it quite funny. I still hate the name and hopefully they drop the "One" at E3.

Hard drive news gets worse. Not only can you not replace it, we're not even going to get to use the whole thing. That's normal for devices like this but...

How big is the hard drive?

500GB, but you can't use all of it. Microsoft's official Xbox One information site contains a significant caveat in the small print: "Xbox One system software uses a significant amount of storage; less internal storage will be available to users."

A significant amount doesn't sound promising. It's already 465GB because of the 1024/1000 deal, who knows what they decree significant but maybe we'll go below even 400GB. Not going to last long installing every Blu-Ray game.

In fact pretty much every answer in this FAQ is bad news - http://uk.ign.com/articles/2013/05/22/xbox-one-what-we-do-and-dont-know

1.- Dedicated servers are all about location. Lag mainly revolves around the distance between the player and the server.
That was all I read and stopped. Credibility gone. Lag relies 100% on upload and download. If you live right next door to my house and you have 1 meg upload and .1 download, we wont be playing together without massive problems. Especially games with co-op modes like GRAW2, or Halo. You will never be able to play the co-op campaign or Spartan ops with other players with that connection. It will literally kick you right out of the game.

However you can live in Europe with at least 10 meg download 2 megs upload and we can play perfectly fine. Download and Upload are THE most important. Having a dedicated server will be a life saver for gaming since it wont be P2P host connection. Anyone that tries to argue with this or does not comprehend the advantages of dedicated servers, should not reply at all. Dediated servers for every multiplayer game is a pure revolutionary innovation for online gaming.

I kinda expected that, considering the Xbox One will be running 3 OSes simultaneously. Still, kinda sucks considering the Blu-Ray installs as you said, Samus.
