Might’ve added in an update. But don’t count on it. In the menu you can only choose between default, weak or off.Apparently none of them do this?

CPX Adapter does it.
So whats your impression of the T-GT after a few more days?So played a good 4,5 hours with the wheel, I'll try to keep it as short as possible (note I've upgraded from a G29):
- The FFB feels really good and quite strong, I'm getting good feedback on how much grip I've got left etc, I did turn up the Torque (+2 from default) and Strength (+1 from default) a bit (patch 1.0.3).
- The wheel feels pretty smooth while driving, but you can definitely feel some gearing while making smaller movements, But during normal turning it feels smooth (once again coming for a G29 it's on another level).
- Now onto the DFB, I really like it. Will it make me a faster driver? No. Still it adds another level of immersion. The effect is subtle, don't expect heavy vibrations, but you do feel the road and what I really enjoyed was the feedback on switching gears. Really adds to the experience.
- A small letdown though is that I'm not able to map buttons to the 4 dials. Top-right and Bottom left are by default Brake Bias and TCS respectively but I was looking in the menu to remap scrolling through all the MFD options and there is no option to assign it to any of the dials. So basically Top-Left and Bottom-right don't do anything. Really hope this gets fixed in an update.
All in all I'm pretty positive so far. I of course would have liked the wheel to be a bit smoother during smaller movements but it's not a big problem. The DFB adds to the immersion, though it probably won't help you shave of time, though I personally really enjoy the extra immersion.
I will do a proper review (if people are interested) when the CPX adaptor arrives. The T3PA's are decent but I would almost go as far as to say that I prefer the Logitech ones, so far they haven't really felt like a big upgrade compared to the wheel/base.
I’ve been refreshing YouTube search a few times a day. I think most want to have X miles with the wheel before posting a review. There are enough unboxing vids out there. With the announcement of the sparco rally wheel and rumor of the ts-pc open wheel rim going to be available as addon the thrustmaster T-GT package is becoming more attractive. The only thing is if you want a Loadcell brake you need to buy separate pedals and an adapter or try and mod it. What is your reason to want to upgrade? Since where in the same boat. (G29 owner though)So where are the in-depth reviews of the T-GT?! Big release of Thrustmaster and sites should be fighting to be one of the first to review this new hyped wheel and there is....hardly anything! Weird. Dependency is there so maybe on hold due to reviews not being good? Dont know. I do know I dont wanna see lam reviews like "if you play alot of GT it might be worth the money". Hate the word 'might' in a review.
I believe in “other” it simulates a T300?Loving this wheel on GT Sport! Does anyone know of any other PS4 Titles compatible with the wheel? Is AC compatible ? WRC 7 Sadly isn't
I'm definitely going to get the Sparco rim! Great news, makes sense with a lot of online retailers over here discounting Thrustmaster rims.
On your other questions regarding the G29, the leather on the T-GT rim makes the wheel feel a lot more premium compared to the G29. I really like the dual sticks (makes looking around in the cockpit very easy while driving) and buttons and have to partly get back on my point of the dials but the Top-left and bottom right are used, noticed it accidentally while playing the Hockenheim race. Top-left is fuel consumption bottom right is adjusting the MFD you're currently on. Would still very much like be able to map buttons to them.
Now I would have preferred a slightly bigger wheel though, but it's definitely an upgrade over the G29 rim. Still when the Sparco wheels are available I'm going to be the first to get one and never look back.
On the other questions, I cannot compare it to the gearing of a T300 since I never owned one. Coming of a G29 the wheel is of course on another level in terms of smoothness, but as I said you can definitely feel some of the gearing when making small movements. But as Skazz said if the gears wear-in that would be perfect. Once again I cannot compare it to a T300 but overall it's a pretty smooth wheel.
Now do I think you should get it over a CSL Elite, it depend on how much time you spend on GT:S. From what I've read/seen the CSL seems to be smoother. But for me personally, I really value compatibility, and since Sony can be an ass to third parties and supporting their products I went for the T-GT because it is partnered with Sony on a marketing level. Now the T-DFB is something I really enjoy, it really adds something to the experience, just giving you the feeling driving on a surface, you basically get continuous feedback even if you're just on a long straight. But as I said before it's not going to make you a faster driver, it's there for immersion. I'm going to play GT:S 90% of the time with this setup, I don't have plans to switch over to the PC so because of that I think the T-GT is worth it for me and provides me with the best GT:S experience.
If you plan on playing a lot of GT Sport I would say go for it at that price. If I could have got the wheel for 200 less and if my pedals did not defect I would of kept the T-GT. As far as the T-DFB goes, its subtle but what it adds is amazing, hard to explain you need to just try it. I'm sure there will be a GT7 down the road that will implement it and hopefully other games down the road.

tI’ve finally made my decision and thanks for your insights guys! They have been very valuable for me. Personal opinions is way more valuable then waiting for reviews (which are mostly sponsored).
I’m going to bite the bullet and get a T-GT.
As you were in the same situation. I flip flopped between the CSL and T-GT a few times. Here is why I’m getting the T-GT in no particular order:
1. 25% off
2. The open wheel rim will become available as add-on as stated in their driver/firmware update announcement
3. For the open wheel they will be releasing a Bluetooth display compatible with ps4. Which puts the wheel on par with the fanatec formula rim
4. I can always upgrade the pedals down the road with CSL elite LC (cpx adapter or drivehub) or maybe LC thrustmaster pedals
5. The “other” mode is simulating T300RS which is widely and fully supported with AC, PC2 on ps4, dirt rally etc.
6. The reviews of ts-pc, ts-xw which share internals with t-GT are quite positive
7. Thrustmaster is dedicated to the ecosystem to fully compete with Fanatec
8. Lots of compatibility issues with the CSL even though it’s “fully ps4 licensed” lots of ps4 games still need to be run in compatibity mode!?!?
9. The T-DFB GT sport exclusive sounds like something which will personally add to the immersion
10. It is fully compatible with my playseat challenge.
11. The wheelbase does look better built then the CSL elite.
12. If I do want a larger rim I can choose from a 30cm Ferrari rim or 33cm sparco rim
13. I’m never going to go hardcore direct drive so no interest to invest further in fanatec podium series
14. Addons and upgrades are widely available in retailstores and 2nd hand market. Fanatec is webshop only.
As you can see I thought this through.
Hopefully these points will help in your decision making!
Probable goin to receive the wheel on Tuesday. Will let you know what I think. But I feel it will be in line with the impressions of Sazukaracer. Logitech doesn’t develop new wheels anymore. So kinda only had choice out of fanatec and thrustmaster. As a side note I found a lot of issues with the new csl firmware and compatibility. People are tweaking and switching back and forth from ps4 native mode to compatibility mode, cswv2 mode and even rolling back firmware for PC2, ac and GT sport. As sakuzaracer stated compatibity is really important! Do you want to spend half the time tweaking and fiddling or just plug and play?Great to get inside your brain since we are in the same boat
I thought I would wait for the reviews even though they are indeed not to fully trust. But I would now LOVE to get your impressions!
But I dont know if I can wait...my T300 broke down yesterday I hit the wall in one of the sport races and it just went nuts. Thats a simracer for you! When I power it up now it just goes bananas to the left and slowly back right and it never ends.
I google it and seems like not very much hope but I will try to install new drivers and firmware.
Why I want to upgrade? Well just been going through t80,150 and t300 with tpa3 pedals and thought it would be nice to keep improving the set. Im not that fast so immersion and feeling is what I am looking for.
t
Nice to hear. As far as I know the 'only' difference between tpa3 and tpa3 is the looks and that they can be inverted but regarding performance its the exact same pedals? If it helps any of you, I've got the T-GT and this morning my T3PA pro pedals were delivered which in my opinion, is the wheel and pedal set it always should have been. It's now complete.
Amazing wheel and great pedals. Sell the standard pedals and buy the pro version.
Better build quality on the T3PA pro pedals. The feel of them is much much better.Nice to hear. As far as I know the 'only' difference between tpa3 and tpa3 is the looks and that they can be inverted but regarding performance its the exact same pedals?
Personally I’d forgo the pro pedals. Not much of upgrade except invertability. Only upgrade should be LC. From what I understand you can use drive hub or Cpx adapter for compatibity.Better build quality on the T3PA pro pedals. The feel of them is much much better.
Quite surprised the t-GT is even more powerfull then the TS-PC/XW. Expected to be just a repackaged version of the same internals. Now Just have to want to get it delivered.
Would I be correct in thinking the four dials would be for TCS, Brake Bias, Fuel Map and Drive Bias?
Cant seem to order/preorder the CPX adapter on basherboards. It just says out of stock now a few days ago it said “temporarily out of stock” did you receive yours? Do you know if it’s discontinued maybe? haven’t received email response yet.CPX Adapter does it.
