I tried their tune and it didn't fit my driving style at all. I've been using Cb's tune with some of my own adjustments.

Give it a go it is great tune, but keep in mind that I am using a secret braking balance ;)

Thanks Cb and Stotty for sharing your setups. I'm at a 25.3 so far, I've seen better but I can't seem to get it all right in a single lap. It's also time for a new controller, the little spring in the right trigger broke a while ago. lol It's on my "need to fix before GT6" list. I need to get at that before the list gets any longer.

Same here, used your latest tune and improved to a 2:25.605 so pretty happy with that. Like stated above, just have to string a good lap together and may have another .500-1.000 in it for me. Hairpin is hit or miss and 103r and that damn last chicane can cost me a good lap.

Getting real close to Skyline on my friends list, real close. Didn't think I would like this front drive TT as much as I do.

Thanks again for sharing your tune, cheers

It was Stotty's gears which did it for me, was already using Cb's tune.

In my 1st completed lap with it Stotty on board I improved from 2:26.9 to 2:26.3, #282.

Can't believe I am in front of Pmjg on my leaderboard, guess he is having a rest for a while.

Thanks to all concerned.

Whoa I will have to try more ballast and the drastically lower FDR.

I'm at 50kg ballast.

Also, I noticed that ballast position can change PP? Never knew that. At the front of the car, it increases PP. Seems counterintuitive.

Perhaps 'THEY' will be glad to learn of Stotty's/Cb's tune too.

Think we have been here before, but in reverse.

If the PP goes up you can be sure it is expected to be better for the car. I think the general consensus is that more of the weight should be over the driving wheels, so forward in FF and to the rear in FR cars.

Whoops, double post, my bad.

Made 2 improvements today, the first improvement was by -0.011 :D then did a 2.25.232 (-0.132) for P.121. Unfortunately I blew a lap where I was up -0.300 in sector 1 but lost it all at spoon curve and the chicane :banghead: A 2.24 is in me somewhere, it's just a matter of time :P

Well, It's time to get back to Integera '04! It seems to be the best car for this TT#75! Atleast it's fun with ppl sharing their tunes. Maybe worth a try CB's/STOTTY's Tune. As a sunday driver like me at GT5, makes it more fun to play Racing games, instead of BFBC in PC. :-)

Just ran a few laps in the '03 integra, it's very loose but with the right tune it could possibly be quicker than the '04.
Same applies for the '99

Here's my times for comparison
Integra (DC5) '04 - 2:25.158
Integra (DC2) '99 - 2:25.660
Integra (DC5) '03 - 2:26.057

OK, update. Still using Stotty's tune but took 44kg off which left me using 269hp instead of 276hp.

The good news is I reduced my time down to .......2:25.873 for #217 ....again, just a tenth away from Cargo.

I'm not absolutely sure that the weight reduction is the sole reason for my improvement as I was regularly in front of my 200kg ghost. Anyway, it may be worth a look, and I noticed Stotty was considering a reduction earlier too.

I have been running my Integra @ 1025kg with 250hp for the entire time so far, I did try with max ballast a few times but it just did not feel as nimble and quick.

Will post full tune very soon, and may have the car on share for the weekend.

I always prefer a minimum ballast however went 'heavy' (200kg ballast ) with Cb's tune and found I was keeping up better with Doodles ghost. So when Stotty posted his tune I stayed heavy but wanted to try a lower kg all the same and it came up trumps for me. I think.
It takes a while to get used to the extra weight especially where braking is concerned but the extra horses can obviously be a benefit too.

Using less weight makes the car turn better and reduces braking distances, but also reduces traction out of corners.

I would think the tune I posted, with c.150kg and less negative rear toe would be a good starting point, but likely will need other bits adjusting too.

I did briefly try 100kg, but that creates serious exit wheelspin and understeer This is managable in most places, but really kills you out of Spoon.

Maybe then my reduction to 156kg ballast was the reason I improved so much. I will try the reduction in negative rear toe too, closer to -50 perhaps. It did seem to me that the car didn't drive as straight (controllable) with -1 as it did with the lesser setting, but who knows.
Anyway I'll drop the toe a little and see if it helps. I know my few beers are not causing me any pain here.

I tried CB's/STOTTY's tune. Great tune! Not exactly for my driving style. I did several m'stakes and still reduced my best lap with 1,2 seconds from 2:29.9 to 2:28.7 after 2 laps (no ghost). With small/few adjustments on the tune and my driving style, there is couple of seconds to cut off!
Thanks a lot!!!

I knew I was going to get a good time last night when my first two laps were identical 2:24.568's.
About 10 laps later I finally put all three sections together and got a 2:24.274 for #29.
I think I'm done as I don't think I can improve but maybe a few hundreths, the lap felt almost perfect to me.
Thank you to everyone for posting all the setups and driving advice.

Not quite Saturday, 10:25pm Friday but It's time for me to leave the cut and thrust of GT5 to those not on the turps.
Cheers.

I'll put my car on share overnight if anyone wants to try it, it has the toe reduction on it now although it's all Stotty'Cb's tune as posted.
In any case it's good for a 2:25 something time.

Yes, the car wanders a bit with that much toe, and is particularly 'interesting' in the drag from the ahirpin to Spoon, where it just wants to turn to the inside all the time

But it does make the car turn better off throttle.

About dirt oil ! is good or not ? which the best mileage on this car ?

thanks for the reply in advance !

Likely to offer a marginal advantage, but I think most people are running with a new car from the dealership.

None of the top replays I've looked at have dirty oil.

I was struggling to keep the car to the right after the hairpin and started changing some numbers and ended up with -15 and -85, brakes at 2/9 and the LSD to 5/26/5, it made the car more stable for me. I have no clue what most of those numbers mean but, I do know when changing them helps or hurts, lol.

Seems to have worked... 29th out of 1.000's is seriously good result and most likely you're by far the fastest female driver on this TT.

Great efforts by everyone, would like to thank Cb an Stotty for their hard work an helping me improve with their setup ideas (no greater
feeling) :)

I have changed style of driving when to change gear etc it took time but finally i managed 2:23.894.. :)

I am generally happy but i see improvements that can be made to my ability.

Will have another try between now an FP2.

Added the ballast (I put weight in the REAR of my FWD vehicles in reality so its counterintuitive for me to put in the front, but I guess the difference being these are Comfort Soft tires compare to the Toyo 888 I run).

I'm @ 175th place with a 2:25.26. Breaking into the 24's will be a piece of cake. The ballast and gearset really helped, although I still can't cross the finish line at over 116, even though I can break 140 down the straight.

Incredible what car setup can do. Thanks to Stotty for posting his gears and gear ratio.
