The part of Maggiore I struggle the most is the very last corner, the long downhill left hander before the straight to the start/finish line.
Overall I do think it's a very technical and fun track to drive on.
All I need to know now is of course, what car will we drive. Most of my experience on this circuit is with Gr.3 cars.

And since this is the final day of the current TT, decided to do one last run and very early on I surprised myself by getting almost 2 tenths faster than my previous run a few days ago, most of this time came from absolutely nailing the Senna S and then just be reasonably good for the rest of the lap. Drove a few more laps but came nowhere near that time with most of the times just being 23.8 or thereabouts and decided to call it quits. 2 more million in the bag, and a nice car/track combo TT.

1.23.5 that is indeed a MEGA lap, very nice time!!, place 292 :bowdown: Congrats!!

@dimassa19

I realy wanted to eat your time so did a before work session today, set the alarm early, first 1 hour spa for credits, than 30 minutes of Interlagos, but i kept running 24 mids, had about 5 minutes left before i had to hop in the car.
I gave up, and wondered what the difference in laptime would do with ASM on, quick on lap ... 1.23.908 :boggled::lol::confused::confused::lol: and it was not flawless. still a nice improvement and good for a place 858 :dunce::):)

On to the next one!

The new time trial will not bring casuals here and I expect it to be one of the less popular ones. Car slides way too much, not stable under braking and feels like a chore to drive. Even the Honda in Trial Mountain was more fun IMO.

Also not a big fan of Lake Maggiore so take my views with a pinch of salt.

Sounds fun to me, the fact that you have to really get to know the car on that track suites me well, this means you have to learn by trail and error, there is no fun in setting your first lap 1.50% of the eventual gold time imo
but when it's not your track i can understand ofcourse

i got to about 3.5% off the top time this morning with a few runs - its a fun challenge, i think.

had to switch to TCS 1 because i kept losing the car while braking - which, while annoying, is a fun wrinkle for a time trial. you really can't move the wheel much when braking, its like driving a refrigerator... it requires a lot of trial and error / commitment. i suspect we'll see a lower % of people gold this one, and it feels like theres probably a few tricks for people to work out with this car.

i really enjoy these time trials, and find the payouts worthwhile... its just absurd that there arent at least 2 going at all times (road car / race car). at a certain level it feels like the GT7 people do not want me to do online racing all week every week... which, while i appreciate them putting me on a diet, confuses me.

OMG they're getting harder! This Maggiore aint gonna be easy..... 6 laps and not even bronze! Boy is this car hard to drive.
Got a bronze in Brazil, was hoping for a sliver...... I have a feeling in my bones that it's not going to happen here either.....😂

cut the kerbs as much as possible, that should find you a lot of time
And penalties probably! I'll give it a go. Anyone else having an issue with the 90 degree right hander at the bottom of the first steep hill? Car goes to pot there.... weird!

penalty zone isn't as annoying for this one, it only ruins one lap, and you really do have to cut everywhere you can to have a hope of hitting the target times.

I really hope the #1 doesn't get much faster than right now, this combo is definitely not my thing. I've just snuck under the gold cutoff with a 2:20.5... after a 154 mile slog. :scared:
Oh, they will I guarantee it. Probably going to be like the Civic TT, learn the car. But this track I'm not a master at

To my surprise the my 24.7 ended up being enough for gold in the last one, neat. Don't really like doing time trials in road cars and especially in a big track like Maggiore so I'll skip this one I think.

Quite enjoyed the last one. The Super GT cars are pretty amazing. Anyway, I like statistics a lot so I summarised the TTs so far (skipping the few unpaid ones prior) for myself. Hopefully it’s not too off-topic or obtrusive, I’ll put in a a spoiler.

Personal TT statistics:
Total earnings: 12,000,000 Cr
Medals: 6 gold, 0 silver, 0 bronze
Percentage rankings: 0,69% — 1,55% 1,61% — 1,83% 1,85% — 2,35%
Position rankings: 44 438 751 910 1,248 4,257

Gold — 2,000,00 Cr — 1’36.160 (0,69% / 44th) •••
Alsace Village (Suzuki V6 ESCUDO Pikes Peak Special ’98)
Gold — 2,000,00 Cr 1’20.697 (2,35% / 751st) ••• Fuji International Speedway (Dallara SF19 Super Formula / Toyota/Honda ’19)
Gold — 2,000,00 Cr — 2’13.310 (1,85 % / 1,248th) •••
Trial Mountain Circuit (Honda Civic Type R ’20)
Gold — 2,000,00 Cr 1’27.863 (1,61% / 910th) ••• Red Bull Ring (Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette Group 5 ’84)
Gold — 2,000,00 Cr 1’46.481 (1,83% / 4,257th) •••
Dragon Trail Seaside (Gr.4 free choice — Dodge Viper Gr.4)
Gold — 2,000,00 Cr 1’23.691 (1,55% / 438th) ••• Autódromo de Interlagos (Gr.2 free choice — Nissan GT-R NISMO GT500 ’16)
So the previous 3 time trials and the latest one all feature Nissans :odd:
Well, the last two weren’t Nissan TTs, it’s just that a Nissan turned out to be the meta for them. It was however very much possible to gold the past two with other cars.

That said, without having tried it I fear for this one a bit. Not a fan of road cars generally and previously tried the Z Performance ’23 on occasion and from memory it’s quite a beast to tame. Will give it what’s needed to remain in gold!
