Drove a few of cars at Autopolis tonight and managed to get them all into the low 54s....with 2 almost licking the 53s!
After watching the replays I realized I left TC at 1 from the Monza TT 🤧
Corvette 1:54.283
WRX 1:54.164
Alfa 4C 1:54.080
Cayman 1:54.032
I also got the Viper into the mid 54.1s, but didn'tsave the replay 🫠

Seems like this is quite a competitive trial, 1.30% off gold and only ranked 578th. Not sure how much time I'll invest in this one as I have limited time at the moment and I don't know how much more time I can eek out of this track.

I dunno....I couldn't get into the gold time. I also cheated and used RM tires to combat the lack of downforce (100lbs less front and rear compare to gr 4 cars).

Should be plenty safe. Its a 1:38.930 I think right now for Gold.....I cut my time down now to 1:38.945 lol.

It's even lower now, i think @EbrahimX7 will get below 36 today - congrats btw mate because that is insane. Did a few Laps before work and i'm getting close to gold again, hope i can put some time in tonight 🙈

Well...... I think my last session at Autopolis, beginning to get fed-up with it, this one doesn't even last a week , it's like with every lap my motivation get less or something, did a stint this morning in the 650 and yes.... i was faster than i have been with it....
but....... kind of not satisfying if you look at my PB.....
The plus is that i didn't have one clean lap in with it, i know if i nail one lap, i am in the 5xx, but it just didn't happen...
So i think i'm done with it,
after all, if the frustration takes the upperhand..... it's time to step back a notch right...

Keeping apart the Fiat500 Gr 0,4 how would you rate the different cars in this TT trying to look at them from an average driver (i.e. Supra may be great, byt only if you can handle it)?

Feels good to get back in the seat after nine days away! I’ve decided not to go back to Monza; you win @half_sourly! 🙌🏽😘. I tried the SLS at Autopolis and it’s great to see a variety of cars in the top 10. We didn’t gel in the first few laps and so I tried the Supra instead, despite its tendency to enter uncontrollable oversteer on boost I was much quicker immediately so the Supra
Is ‘the one’ for this trial unless I get really bored 👀 which I doubt as hopefully I am MOVING HOUSE TOMORROW! 🫨
When it’s not endlessly spinning in circles I really like the Supra actually, very little understeer on these racing hard tyres and actually a lot of fun, nicely balanced, up on its toes especially in Sector 3. I like it but yeah as much as I like Gr4 this track is maybe just a bit long for it? Still, nice to have a choice of car!
I guess as the combo is common the top time won’t come down too much so anyone safely into Gold will stay Gold unlike Monza where our outrageously talented (and unfairly treated here, come on guys let him be fast; he’s one of the wonders of the sim racing world!!) @EbrahimX7 keeps pushing the boundaries of what’s possible…

I invested more time and effort into this Genesis TT than any other so far, with the goal of a top 250 time. That was my GT goal for the year and this felt like a great opportunity, I don't think I have the skills to manage top 250 in a TT that everyone else enjoys. Have been away for a few days for work, back late tonight so won't get a chance to go again. Just checked the rankings and I'm teetering on the precipice at #238!! Pleeease everyone, stop driving the Genesis!

You know what, I may try my hand at the Corvette Gr. 4 car, it has a strong engine and it turns really well, you just gotta tame and control it through all the corners. I tried the AMG car and I didn't think it gave me good results. See what's getting me is the last sector before the final right turn and then a long straightway. So how are you guys planning your laps on this? I'm using the Italia 458 now, it's only gotten me a few laps between 2'00.019 and 2'02.354. At least I can say they have been consistent.

Another good and bad session at Monza last night. Dropped from 1:37.233 to 1:37.224 after 150 miles... Not good enough to move up any places, but still, happy with that. Then next lap, did guess what time? Yup, 1:37.224. So that was the good, sort of.
The bad? Optimum sectors have me at 1:36.93, but I am just not consistent enough in any of the sectors to make it work. Should still be my best finishing position, so I won't grumble.

Took a stab at the Gr.4 @ Autopolis TT last night, went for the Supra. What a nice car to drive around there. Got withing gold on lap 2, and was close to a second clear on lap 5, which is when I stopped. Figured this is a safe enough gold. Definitely more time on the board for me, but think I'll let this one stick.

The Supra is great, but it will try to kill you. I did have problem on those hairpin exit tho, can't seem to put the power down early enough.
SLS is like a more stable version of the Supra, but doesn't rotate as well in the 3rd sector.
WRX and the Alfa 155 drives similar with the WRX understeer less. They are both great at the hairpin exit but just can't seem to put the power down early in the 3rd sector because of understeer.
Mustang, Viper and Corvette are not too bad now that I'm more familiar with the track. They do need a bit of work to get the most out of them tho.
Cayman and the Alfa 4C are surprising good....with the Cayman being more of a all rounder and the 4C really rotate well. The problem I had witht the 4C is the exit of hairpin. I lost a boat load of time at the exit of the hairpin at the beginning of the 3rd sector.
