👍

I did 1:59:xxx (clean) with all aids off, only ABS1 and a 1:58:xxx (red lap) with the same... Used CSS at 7 with some throttle control on exiting corners...

EDIT: DS3 also... :)

You did a very good time, I can follow you until the S-curve uphill ... and than you are gone. 👍
Did 2:02,723 .... so close to gold. :banghead:

👍 Keep pushing my friend!

Use all the downforce of the FT1, it has really a lot... Have you tried CSS7? It helps...

This might help.

I had a DFGT and the little button shifters were the only real problem with the wheel. That and the flimsy pedals. I was going to try these adapters but the pedals gave up the ghost before I got the chance.

Haha funny video. Don't wanna sound all macho-like, but what exactly is the girl's purpose in the video? She should take our @WhoosierGirl as an example and do some actual racing or just anything!

I practiced with GTR 35 TC tuned to 637PP and handling to suit self, on the Arcade mode, adjusted time, a late afternoon seems to avoid the heavy flashing at the Dipper. Gold time for the 35 TC was moderate difficult. Then back to seasonal, the FT-1 felt different but faster in straight line, harder to get gold but due partly to own mistakes. Big gain was pushing flat through the Chase. In the end roughly same 2:01+ times for both cars.

After a few more laps I'm not disliking this car quite as much as before. Bathurst has never been kind to me so a I'm ok with the time I got. I think I was on pace for a low 1:56 lap, but I don't know how to decently go around the last three corners after the back straight and lost a lot of time.

It's funny how while watching the replay I'm thinking about places where I should have gone faster, let the car roll towards the edge of the track or hit the gas sooner. But that's certainly not what I was thinking while struggling with the car.

Being able to look back and see where you can improve is the most important thing you can do aside from actually doing it:)

You can basically go flat out going into the final chicane as i notice you let off. I would shift a bit earlier too

So much for the manual transmission experiment, just to see I tried a few laps with the automatic tonight, dropped a half second to a 1:53.920.
Hahaha, yeah, as a manual user I was thinking the same thing yesterday. Damn this car jumps on me on every change I give it.. Seem like in future they mainly make cars FOR KILLING PEOPLE

1. Car is BS!! Wount turn on uphil section wount turn downhill section wtf?!
2. I've got like graphic twitching in the mountain section, it really disturbs!!

Still looking for a finish!

Yep, this car is a snowplow... just wants to go straight whatever you do.

I think I read that, ironically, you can get rid of the flicker by turning off 'flicker reduction' in the main settings.

Yeah, and when it turns it's 90 decrees every time  this must be the firs car in GT series that seems to suffer from under and oversteer at AT THE SAME TIME

Completely agree. At that point I was more occupied with trying not to screw up the lap than anything else as I don't have a good reference point to start braking. I'm basically hoping not to go off.

For some reason that made me laugh. :)

*sigh* :( Yet another non tune-able sinking boat which I doubt will ever see the light of day from deep within my stockyard, along with the others.

I hate not being able to breath some sort of racing life into these cars with a nice drive-able tune, they just get packed away as soon as I pick them up.

The Nissan VGT got lucky for a few hours outside of the stockyard but has since gone back now that the 4WD TT has been buggered by it. :indiff:

I'm driving GT since the first game release and believe me, when I say it goes straight when I turn for example right on the uphill section. My controller sensitivity is on 3 under this settings are two another options more, so, one is set on (I think) 5 another 3/4.

:D

But beside that, there is heavy to drive and as I say, on the uphill section amazingly stupid, downhill-stupid as well with more shift down otherwise the car goes straight, only Good thing on the car is that under braking is amazing stable!!

Idk what tyres are on the car but overall-car is 4.5/10!

Laguna Seca+ Honda Weider Raybirg =more epicness so far is not possible!!

Seems crazy to give an "alienette" who is consistently seconds faster than me advice but, keep trying and you'll get it soon enough.

You're right about that, it is stable under braking. I'd be a real pain if it pulled to one side on such a bumpy circuit.

Forced myself to run another session and improved to 1'54.254 for 52nd... exactly 0.010 behind @Ed_Night (nice work with the sticks 👍).

This combo really is horrible.

AUGH! Hit sector 2 with a 57.6xx which is FOUR tenths up on my usual only to graze the wall immediately in the downhill section! 🤬

The DS3 1:53 evades me yet again but I will have it

I hate this time trial. You have a car with a relatively hardened suspension setup, and what do you do PD? Make us hotlap it on a track that demands a soft suspension setup! Why?!
Anyway, got the gold with 2:00.971. Good enough for me. Shame there was no paint chip for gold, but ah well. :/

Am I retarded??

Ran 15 mins with this car after a couple of ciders and did the scruffiest 1:57 I've ever seen.

I probably won't do better than a 1:55, but I've got to say.. I love this car.. No one else..?..no..

..ok I'll just leave

That's the buzz talking. ;)

I hate this crap!!

Heavy to drive, suspenssion is stiff as Stifmeisters meister ad on that that the track is very bumpy it's just crap, plus the middle sector of the track is twitching!

Whenever I beat my perevious best, my car freezes on the apex of turn one for about a second

They really need to sort this frame rate issue (if that's what it is)

Ty really need to find a solid balance from the car-track-tires, B'coz I've never understood the philosophy put sport soft on scar over 550bhp and race guys.

Stupid.

I think 52 isn't possible with ds3. Did a 1:54,511 today and was just 0,023 behind you. :)

Was often 0.2s up on my ghost after turn 3, but keep messing it up within the next 4 corners.
Im stuck at 1.54.193.... Definately capable of 53s... (Had enough red laps after minor wall grazes)... No idea how they hit 52s :/
