TT No. 50 - Lotus 480PP & 400PP

Still can't access the Corvette, it says it is unavailable at the moment. Wonder if it's like that all over Australia.

Checked the New Cars and Chevrolet has one for sale for $100,000 but still not allowed to buy it.

If you look in the opening post Motor City Hami has kindly put a link to one of his tunes for the Elise

Your idea?

Note the dates.

I'm hoping that happens, been waiting for a fixed setup TT for a long time now...
Last fixed set time trial was GT5 Time Trial Challenge with Nissan GT-R SpecV @ Eifel 105A but that had SRF enabled for reasons beyond me. Was still getting used to the wheel back then though, wasn't competetive enough since I had less than a month of wheel use behind me then (and that was Nov-Dec 2011).
Now I've improved loads so I wish to see where would I stack up.

David Coulthard Challenge was the last fixed set time trial which was actually a good and I didn't have a wheel back then.

I hope that with the introduction of C7 they'll give us a time trial to go with it. I'll be hoping... that would give me a reason to start this game up (something I haven't done in weeks).

Really? You're going to argue with me about such a petty thing? If you noticed my post above to the other person, I ended it with an "lol". Meaning, that I was just making some light-hearted conversation and it really doesn't mean that much to me who posted it first. You may also note that I didn't even care enough to respond to him. If it means that much to you, you can have the glory, it doesn't matter to me at all.

To everyone else: If anyone needs a Suzuki running 10WDIRTY type oil, send me a fr as I have one I can put on share for you. I'm concentrating on the WRS TT's nowadays therefore I'm not using mine. Only golded for the money and thats it. Peace.

Cargo', why would you need the money? I used to buy cars whenever I reached $20 mil rather than just losing it whenever I made some on a seasonal, but a while ago I got sick of doing that and now only buy ones I particularly want or need.

Can't imagine you're much below the $20 mil mark and need to, 'build up'.

Perhaps you're like me and just want to Gold them first, then think about improving times etc.

No, I don't really need the money, guess I should have said, "just to get the gold." I am however down to like 6 mill right now tho only because I bought the last remaining colored X10 that I needed, lol. Again, "needed" might be the wrong word, lol. Just bought them all for something to buy, I guess, would be a better way to put it. So now I have all X10's in every color that I will never drive, lol. See the boredom here, lol.

This is a great little TT, the lotus 111R came into its own here, I got down to 1:26.2 with a bit of room to spare. The Suzuka was great fun, though Golded on first lap out, so not much of a challenge there, that said, I am having a hard time getting it below the ' Magic Minute ' . Still room for improvement though lol.

EDIT...now down to 1:25.8, just 4.316 behind Mr TRP_REPLAY. Not far to go then lol

Just because I don't use acronyms doesn't mean I'm serious.

Bass', try some of the tunes in the Seasonal before this one, the "British Lightweight" cars to 500PP.

There are some very good tunes for the Elise 111R 04.

Started earlier on 1:25.5 and am now at 1:25.099.

thanks for the advice buddy.. i'm now up to 1:30.734 and getting better

Well, you must have been if you took the time to post about it. Also, not to burst your bubble or anything, but you wern't the first either, lol. About 15 posts before you, another member mentioned it even before you. So I guess you don't get the spotlight after all, lol. I can't believe such a simple post of mine has you in such an uproar, lol.

The Suzuki TT seems pretty easy to get a good time. Second lap in I was able to get under the minute mark. (First lap I ran red on the last turn) Car is easy to drive with these tires.

The Lotus one is lovely (mid engined cars are almost always nicest to drive in GT games). and I spent a few hours today running laps and trying different tunes on the 111r.

Was 9th earlier, but have since slipped down to 11th, with a 1:22.287.

Here's the tune... pretty confident this will run 21's in the right hands.

ECU
Engine tunning stage 3
Sports intake manifold
Racing air filter
Sports manifold
Catalytic convertor
Titanium racing exhaust
Fully customisable transmission
Twin plate clutch
Racing flywheel
Fully customisable LSD
Fully customisable suspension
Rear wing

Ballast: 127kg @ position 20
Makes 251bhp @ 886kg for 480ppts

Settings:

Springs 7.0 15.0
Rebound 4 9
Bound 3 8
ARB 1 6
Camber 2.0 1.5
Toe -0.12 -0.05

LSD 10 12 5

Wing 10

Gears... reset to defualt, then set max speed to minium, then set individual gears, then final
1st 3.807
2nd 2.933
3rd 2.428
4th 2.035
5th 1.713
6th 1.460
Final 3.593

I also had a quick run on the Suzuka one... I love Suzuka East, it's a perfect TT track, but the Suzuki just ruins it by pretty much being flat to the floor for 99% of the lap... and unless you have a one without an oil change you're not going to be competitive... YAWN

Just put my Suzuki on share. Its running 10WDIRTY type oil for those that want that option, lol.

👍 Good man... expect a friends request.

I've put 2 111r's on share... the yellow one is the one I set my fastest time in, but I've run 22.4s in the green one.

How many miles does it have? I'm curious because I'm at school right now on lunch break.

Yes, try to prove me wrong.
You're jealous because you didn't think of it first.

Come on, seriously, I told you I could give a rats ass about that. I was making a joke about it to the other guy. The conversation didn't even involve you until you came in here wanting the spotlight, fame, or whatever else you're after. And I didn't try to prove you wrong, I did and only because you came off the way you did. No need to carry this petty crap on, if you want the fame, you got. Email Kaz with your idea, you may even get a little something special in your giftbox.:sly:

While most of this tune is completely bogus and I'm guessing it's meant more as a joke then anything the suspension seems to be decent. The transmission settings are way wrong. The 111R gears do not go that high. I tweaked the gearing to match a few different speeds with 6th and final the same as default and managed to get 1:28:216. Now to fiddle with the suspension a little to find that .216 so I can gold and I'll be done with this seasonal

BRAVO! That is an awesome tune. It is so predictable and a blast to drive. Only had 3 laps before had to get back to the office but jumped to 125.xx and can see bunches left.

Thanks for sharing!

I couldn't disagree more. I personally loved it (ABS1 no other aids ). As for the Gearing I agree that it looks odd with 5-6th both pegged left but it worked great for me

WTF?

I explained how to set the gears up in my post... it's not rocket science, all you need to do is RTFM and follow the simple step by step instructions ;)

I'm posting a tune for the benefit of others... a tune that's capable of running times in the top 10... you can make comments about how it drives if you like (positive or negative is fine), or suggest how you think it could be improved (though that might be difficult seeing as you're c.6 seconds slower than I am), but trust me, I'm not in the habit of posting 'bogus' or 'joke' tunes.

As for the Gearing I agree that it looks odd with 5-6th both pegged left but it worked great for me

The reason it's like that is to create the most closely stacked gear set possible. 6th gear doesn't need adjusting as you just change the final to change the top speed.

I see where my mistake was after reading your post for a third time. "Reset gearbox then THEN SET SPEED TO MINIMUM". Somehow I missed that last part.

While my post was not intended to insult your tuning abilities(as they are far superior to mine) I can see how it did. Quite frankly even I was insulted after reading my own post. I apologize for that sir.

I got also 2 Suzuki's on share.

Black 129bhp 13600 miles

Yellow 126bhp 4000 miles (This one is with engine tuning stage1)
Just shoot fr to GTP_JK83 if someone need borrow those.
