Lol, Right above your post, is a list of tunes I received, which includes your name :P
It's all the same to me. The email was psychotik's idea, it seems to avoid the 50 maximum PM limit, but other than that I find it pointless. I'm in the process of creating, of what I feel will be, a very easy way to see all tunes submitted on 1 simple page, that I'll publicly post tonight for all to see. I'm new to spreadsheets, so it'll be rather simple for now, but function over fashion I guess. The email will allow me to ensure all drivers get the link I guess?

Apparently Roj and I wound up with strikingly similar suspension tuning...

This either means we're onto something or we're both complete crackheads.

how long after the dead line will we be able to start driving them do you think??
can't wait.

As soon as I'm done racing online, lol.
I have everything 99% ready to send out and post.
Waiting for any last minute tunes to come in.
I'll have them posted probably in an hour or 2.

Sounds good.

Can you please just clarify for me and I'm sorry of this has been talked about before but the 2 corners with the yellow lines on the that can be cut. I'm guessing the yellow lines are off track. Other than that I'm guessing it's same roles as WRS.

Shot off an email at 2:51am EST which should have been 9 minutes before deadline PST unless gmail failed to get it to you in time, but the original send time should be embedded in header anyways.

Please remove the settings of your specific tune, as they will all be posted publicly in an anonymous form, your public settings, will defeat the purpose.

Tuning parts ?
Chassis ?

It's all been on the main post, since the first of February.
And just in case, the specifics were sent to the drivers in the email.
This spreadsheet is purely the settings.
Everyone looking at them, should already know by now what is suppose to be on the car.

I can already see 2 tunes that are definitely going to suffer on one factor alone. I hope there aren't any glitches that will give some cars an unrealistic advantage. I remain confident in my tune and I think I can recognise the tunes of two other tuners based mainly on a few hallmarks their tunes carry.

It's not written on the mail, but I've set the parameter for offroad to realistic hope the others drivers will do as well.

If you mean making the gap I don't think it counts as out of bounds if your wheels never touch the ground between leaving pavement. :sly:

It's the only redeemable feature about that course, other than that, I hate you guys for making me having to tune on it. I await the return of El Capitan

I already did 3 set of 15 laps and it's very interesting to see the differece between each tune.
I think I might have to rerun the first tune I drove tho, because I was more learing the track/car combination then anything else and it shows on the time, you're ok if I do so ?

Well, personnaly I see 6 tunes that will have hysteresis problems. :D

For clutch, plate and LSD the more expensive part is not each time the best part.

Same for chassis stiffening.

I can't wait for the results now... ;)

One things that's bugging me, why didnt you put the garage name on the tune ? You ahve to trust us drivers anyway that we'll give you some real time, done in no red, without assist etc.. so why dont you trust us too on that part ? I mean even if I like LDP, I wont drive better for them than I would be for a garage I dont like.
And it would be interesting to know who did what so us driver can have at least a tiny bonus and know that this garage tunes cars that way etc..
Not sure if I make sens, let me know if I dont XD

With the old system we were rewarded with extra tunes no one saw, so we had something but basicaly with this system we dont get anything. We dont now who did the tune so can't use that garage for more tune for us, we dont have any extra tune that people dont know about, well I think you understood me XD

I really would like to know who did what tune and again there's already lots of trust involve anyway in this system so why not trust us completly ?

I'm sure after the competition has ended, you'll find out which tuners tuned which car. 👍

Still why all the secret ? honestly I dont really get it plus like I said it would be cool drivers got some sort of reward out of this.

I reckon you can. ;)

That said, are the two you recognize also the ones with "issues"? Obviously, everything is locked in now, I'm just curious.

I see at least one tune that will have problems through the first and last sectors. :sly: Suspension hysteresis isn't as large an issue as you think.

Wow!!! Each tune is significantly different enough that I don't feel awkward in being significantly different.

All this funny talk of things like hysteresis and stuff makes my head hurt. MiniVanMan's guide to tuning.

1. Did you hit the outside wall?

A. Yes, you have understeer.
B. No, you don't have understeer.

2. Did you hit the inside wall?

A. Yes, you have oversteer.
B. No, you don't have oversteer.

See how easy that is?:sly::dunce:

I have to agree. All these fancy words makes it sounds like the car has contracted a disease. :ill::lol:

All right, I've done all my runs, 8 x 15 laps, took me the whole afternoon but it was fun.
Time difference between best set of lap and worst is around 2 sec. And I was suprised that the tune that were "slow" wasnt those I was expecting.

Anyway was fun.

Pretty much. Perhaps I'll make a flow chart.

Are drivers being encouraged to offer comments on each tune? I only ask because I'm not really doing this to win, but rather to just improve. My main goal is just to be competitive with the experienced tuners.
