I'm afraid I'll be unable to get results done today. Real life has thrown one of those spanners in the works.

I've had my drivers side window regulator cable snap and I've just had to spend the last couple of hours trying to find a way to get something tomorrow to wedge the window shut.

In short I'm a little tired to concentrate on getting the results done properly / accurately.

The car did it. It wants you to hear that V-Tec kick in!! Or whatever that ricer saying is.

Results from Suzuka

Both weescotman and megg230 ran cars that were below the required weight, as a result they have not been classified.

Weescotman's ballast needed to be 58kg
megg230's ballast needed to be 54kg

Leaving the points table looking like this

And finally your weather forecast for two weeks time.

And why was Warren's car 445 HP ???????
Prerogative I guess...
I had totally missed that, as I was so focused on the weights. Makes loosing to him legitimately have that much more of a wow factor.

It does explain his slower than normal Q session.

@theewar what was this sorcery

The Short answer is I have no idea.

However we did run another Honda that weekend and I think the last two numbers in the bhp figure are 45? , it goes to show the state of my mind during the past weekend..

I have some unfortunate news regarding this weekends race.

I won't be able to host any practice sessions.

If anyone is willing to host in my stead, I would be grateful. Otherwise I will consider making the qualification session 4 minutes long, starting from the pit lane, alone on track.

This should give enough time for the super lap.

Today's race sees us revisit Fuji Speedway. The cars are heavier and the race shorter. Will this be the race to upset theewar's dominant position.

As always. Your weather forecast, lobby rules and timetable. I intend to keep to the timing as it is and run a 4 minute Q session. This will mean the race will start a little earlier.

See you tonight 👍

It's taken me much longer than I'd have liked. Damn bank holidays :grumpy:

Here are the results from this Sunday gone.

Congratulations to Weescotman, Goodwolf and SoKaGT-Racing.

As we move into race 7, some orders of business.

Firstly, The ballast applied to each car is now halved. All driver cards in Opening Post have been updated to reflect this.

Secondly, The GTP Endurance series has dictated that this next race take place this coming weekend. A quick turn around I know but a point I feel I need to draw attention to.

Thirdly, I have been asked if this weekends race can be run this coming Friday. For this to happen I need a unanimous agreement from all participants. The Qualifying procedure will be set to 5 minutes if this goes ahead.

Lastly the "Weather Forcast" for the upcoming race

I don't get home till after ten in the week, at least till the end of the year now.
This change is what's holding me back on Endurance commitment. This is why I haven't signed in for a while, still working whens best to practice or even get on.

A culmination of this, the bank holiday and the missus wanting to go out this bank holiday meant I missed Sunday.
Prefer not to miss another one but I'll live with any decision.

If it's moved to Friday, you'd miss the race. If it remains Sunday, you'll make it?

Assuming Cpt_D, currently 2nd in the championship, wins at Grand Valley Speedway, he will then lead the series by 6 points. However he has the second heaviest ballast amount. Making a win on GVS harder.

Running the race with @scholesy1899 will tighten the scores of the top 4 and add some tension going into the final ballast free race at Motegi.

Just got on. Thank you on the decision.

Work had known about a colleagues retirement for some time, but still have omitted from placing a shift leader in his place, so muggings here said yes and got some 12hr days thrown in for good measure.

At present, in the week the earliest I can practice is about 22:20 or early in the morning.

Looks like most of it will be done through Saturdays.

So carrying on from that, have I been earmarked for the upcoming London ES races or are we talking the 2016 calendar? It was being talked about before the late decision to do it again next season.
I need to formulate a plan or hold off, whatever's best for the team.
I'm eager to emulate our SCAR legends but my practice window has become greatly reduced.

I plan to have a GVS practice room open tonight from around 20:30.

The race tomorrow will still run a 5 min, alone on track, start from pits qualifying procedure, as I may not be able to get enough information to adequately release everyone individually.

I hope you can make it.

:EDIT: 500 posts!

Tonight Grand Valley Speedway greets us for race #7 of Type R Cup 2. The practice session last night has shown 1:45 lap times are achievable. With a couple of 1:44 thrown in for good measure.

Please double check your required ballast weight, as this has now been halved and matches your points in the series.

Qualifying will be set to 5 minutes, start from pits. I ask you only do your one flying lap.

Here are your lobby rules, schedule and Weather forecast.

Good racing tonight. Didn't go the way I planed but tried with two stopper anyway after losing time behind scholesy and not doing a good job in qualifying where I got surprised by my car and almost made two spins, that got me the last position.

Too bad scholesy got disconnected you really wanted to be in this race. :(

Awesome racing last night. A very mixed bag from my perspective. Surprisingly, I found I had some reasonable pace this time around.

Now, down to business.

Unfortunately weescotman has erred on his ballast application once more, 47kg instead of the required 49kg. Meaning no points for this round also.

The upshot of this error means a Gary 1,2,3. I can't say I'm pleased about the circumstances of my first podium. Will fought a good race from a bad start. But rules are rules.

Finally the weather forecast for Race #8 in three weeks time.

Thanks William.
Gutted to dc.

Minimal practice saw me off the pace initially and I couldn't swerve Will at GWs off up the hill.
Sorry to hold Will and Dudo up for a lap or two.
Went for the one stop and came out not far behind the Gary's, felt my pace to be good by then and hoped I could make a fist of not coming last.
But then disaster.....
I'm hanging on by the skin of my teeth now and its back as we were for the last race.
Plus GC has had quite a bit of time on Motegi and Megg is just bloody fast.
Please!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well I'm sure I got it right. Bad race so wasn't really expecting a decent result. Hey ho onto the last race then.
If it's any consolation, you can't go wrong for the next one.
Thanks William.

Don't forget SoKa, he's not that far behind either. This is going to be one hell of a race. On many angles.
