I think its pretty safe to say that against any other team in this tournament, certainly against any of the teams advancing to the quarters, this performance would have seen England comfortably lose. They have been really poor in my opinion, much worse than in the two previous games which weren't even that impressive for me.

Well, Italy did look good against Spain, though they haven't been impressive all the time. We might eek out another 1-0 win at this rate. England need more of the ball against the better teams.

Before the tournament started I was on the 'Spain, Germany, Holland to win it' camp. Then I saw all 3 play and Portugal COULD HAVE beaten Germany, but didn't. Now it's all up in the air. Germany is still my pick to win it all but if it becomes a Portugal x Germany final, then I'll be honest and say it's going to Portugal.

And apparently FARE observed reported a neo-nazi banner in the German fan section, as well, as German fans threw paper balls at the Portuguese players, for that they were fined 10,000€.
Oh, and the Russians got 120,000€ fine for their conduct in the group A match opener, for all sorts of misconduct, as well as using a Russian Empire flag.
It's really sad to see these kinds of things, these damn hooligans ruin it for everyone.

I wouldn't mind having Portugal win the Euro, especially after losing it in 2004, when they should have won it.

And Spain never should have won. A stolen penalty and an offside goal at the end? Cmon!
Also Michel Platini shouldnt be president of UEFA. Taking sides in the tournament?! That was unfortunate and sad to watch.

You can't see it in that video but the player was offside to start with so justice done decision wise
