I don't think it's a new series, just the last one continued from before the world cup. Anyway theres only a couple more days to go before we'll find out what happens. I hope the Veyron isn't a no show now the words been spread. It might have done the track but for a later episode if it doesn't appear. The caravan holliady should be a laugh.

Good episode. That caravan holiday was hilarious. And that Kia being Caravan toeing Car of the Year?!

Also, didn't Jermey say the Vectra is "faster than a BMW M5?"

I think not...

I think it's hard to remember that this is actually ment to be a car show.

Caravan section was awesome and the F1 indoor test, 81 mph

Good episode, though I think most the Caravan problems were self imposed, and I don't just mean the fire.

There was no way that F1 car was gonna get grip on that floor, it looked like an ice rink!

I've heard so much about the Caravan episode, but sadly, no one has it, and I'm a 100% sure the Top Gear DVDs don't have it here.

I may have to resort to other means.

It's repeated Tuesday at 7 or 8 pm, can't remember which. I'll watch it on the site if it's up tomorrow, I was watching Pirates of the Carribean 2, so I missed it.

Keep an eye out on YouTube... There are quite a few folks who will regularly post segments on there. I actually have the page bookmarked for Top Gear in the "Date Added" assortment. That way, I know whats up when it gets up. Racingflix will also have the segments posted as well, but they usually make their way to YouTube eventually...

According to some of my more hardcore Top Gear fans from MySpace, FinalGear.com is supposed to have a copy of every new episode of Top Gear, as well as a few classics available for Download.

Well, we've had discussion like this before (where to get Top Gear clips or full episodes), but it's either a grey area or totally in violation of the AUP depending where you stand. Rest assured though, this is the Internet. You can get almost anything you want (and some things you certainly don't want) if you know where to look. You can even get Top Gear from the 1980s and 1990s. Not that I would ever dream of downloading or acquiring any copyrighted material, obviously.

Coming up in the next episode of Top Gear

Radio Times
Sun 23rd July

Motoring magazine presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May. Jeremy and The Stig race two Caterham 7s around a circuit in Scotland, but Jeremy needs to build his own car from scratch first. Richard and James road test the Ford S-max, the Mercedes B200 turbo and the Vauxhall Zafira VXR - three family cars that promise a bit of excitement. The star in the reasonably priced car is Steve Coogan.

Still no sigh of the Veyron and radio times seems to be bang on the mark when it comes to programme content, im thinking now that the veyron is going to be the seasons ending episode or something along those lines.

Spec....

The Caterham thing sounds interesting, especially if they're at Knockhill (can't think of any other 'major' tracks in Scotland). Not sure how well Caterhams will go on the relatively bumpy Knockhill track though. Steve Coogan on again in the Reasonably Priced Car could be fun.

lol the noise from the F1 car indoors, caravanning was a waste of time at the end, and the Vectra was terrible - how would anyone buy that POS.

Someone with high motorway miles would love it. Just because it handles badly doesn't mean it's completely useless.

Why though would you waste money on a crap chassis when other cars are capable of crossing motorways at speed (doubtful people will need the 160mph) in more comfort, plus giving you better involvement as a driver. You could get a second hand merc for that money if you wanted a motorway cruiser.

personally i think the vectra looks the dogs :D ...........although i do prefer the sound of the 220.

and who says its a crap chassis? he tested it on a track, never heard him saying it was crap on the road.

and yes they will be at knockhill they were up filming a few weeks ago, only other decent tracks in scotland are kames and east fortune.

Like Holdenhsvgtsr says, how do you know it's a crap chassis? It could be it's set up more for the road and comfort, e.g. an executive express.

And I'm sure the Police will appreciate it's top speed, if no-one else.

Not a bad episode, not the best but nothing outstanding about it, the caravan holliday was funny but a little pointless because you knew they wouldn't like it before. The Vauxhall is probably not as bad as Jeremy say's it is, sure it's not the best car in it's class but as boring as it looks, there are wose cars.
