No.
I agree. The sloth looks a lot better.

Actually that is another unpopular opinion. I would rather have a sloth as a pet than her as my girlfriend. Although I wouldn't have one because it's cruel to keep a sloth as a pet. They are incredibly cute though.

What if you had a sloth as a pet in like a small wildlife reserve? Like you own two acres of land, and it's just woods, and the sloth lives in it. Than it wouldn't be cruel. Sloths aren't that cute though...Taylor Swift looks better than a sloth in my opinion. But than again it depends on the picture of the sloth.

Unpopular Opinion: Cats are overrated. Especially indoor cats.

Dark humor is the best.

For me, it is a way to kind of forget about the bad things that happen. And just laugh. I would rather laugh than cry. I hate when the news covers nothing but sad stories that make you want to cry.

Ah....... dark humour needs the dark bit. Or maybe you don't want your favourite type of humour to exist, because you want happy-ignorance-is-bliss-land instead.

Also, so many of you guys seriously haven't got a clue what you're talking about when assessing what is unpopular. I'm reading "I like to call my cookie cutter a biscuit shaper.... BURN sheeple!!!". Yes, that's dual reference there.

"Unpopular" Opinions - General (Stepford Wives) Thread, more like it.

Another unpopular one for me. I like Batman and Robin

Didn't see IM3, but I've heard that the Mandarin thing was a disaster.
Oh God

Yeah, it was a real disappointment compared to the comic Mandarin.

I am really not understanding that...
Its campy so I like it. But i dont like 4th one as the "camp" became forced at this point.
I have not yet watched the fourth one, but I am honestly excited. :D
I'm thinking....GT Planet isn't really ready for dark humour :)
Not sure what you mean by this. In my mind, dark humor touches on sensitive topics that may seriously offend people, or may be graphic for any audience.

With you putting emphasis on "dark" I am assuming you are talking about racism. I am not sure, just wondering.

I do not think the AUP allows for such humor either way, so like you said, GTP is not ready for it...

Following on from @Brend mentioning Speed Racer, The Cat in the Hat has to be one of the funniest and most entertaining kids films of recent times. Hell, films full stop. The completely oddball humour and quirkiness fits it perfectly. I've never understood why it was almost universally panned from release.

You think that dark humour is the best. Dark humour requires misfortune, or pain, or loss, or death, etc. Yet the wish granted of no news of "sad stories" would deny you the necessary material for hilarity.

Look....

That reads that you hate what provides you with what you love.

Edit:
"I think that even light hearted threads, with friendly discourse, should be annoyingly scrutinised and analysed to their fullest extent"

Aha, I know it does sound contradicting.

It is depressing with sad news all the time. I even feel slightly guilty about liking dark humor. So it is kind of bitter-sweet. I like it because it helps me deal with it. But I hate it becaused of the fact that other people's emotional and mental health really is taking a hard hit. It sucks.

Is it ok if I have zero interest in Game of Thrones & The Walking Dead?

Yes, because I also have no interest whatsoever in both of those shows.

A bunch of people walking around in costumes? No thanks.

And with The Walking Dead, I was never really on the zombie bandwagon to begin with anyways.

The Transformers movies are good movies.
Apart from people not liking CGI, I never really understood the hate behind these movies. I always enjoyed them and I look forward to the next one for sure.

I don't know if this is really that unpopular, but music made with real instruments will always be the best type of music.

That said, electronic music of pretty much all types is one of my favorite types of music. But a live experience will never be the same as one with people playing actual instruments.
Even within electronic music I think there's a distinction between wavetable synthesis and sample-based synthesis, in that there's something more genuine about how wavetable synthesis constructs its sounds from scratch. A keyboard with a wavetable chip is basically a digital organ, and in chiptunes it's like the chip is really "performing" music as opposed to just calling up samples.
