Morning people and extroverts monopolize society, forcing night owls and introverts to defy their nature and harm their own well-being to get by.

I'd be on board with the bit about morning people. It's a fact that most humans are diurnal but there are some people who are better suited to a nocturnal routine. I do often find it difficult to maintain a diurnal life; right now I'm on a very bad pattern. But that's what I'm forced to do because the world works on a diurnal basis.

Unpopular Opinion: It's seemingly against the grain to say that nocturnal-ness is a thing in humans at all. It definitely can be and no, it's not as simple as "Just go to bed earlier".

Three things:
I think any Corvette looks better than any Ferrari.
Lamborghini's are better than Ferrari's in terms of looks.
Porsche's are just bigger Volkswagen Beetle's with a more powerful engine and fancier equipment.

@Wolfe I actually agree that humans can be assholes. Everyone is equal. Dogs that aren't rageful are usually ones with freedom. Also I think that the species in profile pic is underrated.

On the other hand alcohol is crappy crap. Especially cheap one.

- Wait, so even the Veneno and Centenario look better than what Ferrari put out?

- I'm pretty sure the Carrera GT and the 918 are pretty far away from being Beetles.

Yep.

Forgot about those two. They are definitely far from being Beetle's.

I always thought the Venono was an amazing looking car.

Autocross and racing in general is far more physically and mentally demanding than many other sports.
While racing can certainly be very physically demanding, especially at the very top, I'm less sure about autocross. I've been under the impression that autocross is mostly air-conditioned road cars with power steering going at relatively low speeds around a car park and I genuinely can't imagine it being quite as physically demanding as some other forms of motorsport.

- The Blue Shell was a great addition to the Mario Kart franchise.

- Mario Kart 8s, 1 item only system is better than the having 2 items by holding 1 system in other Mkario Karts, now 1st place has to be concerned about defending his/her position

While it might be easier in certain cars, in cars with heavier steering it can be quite challenging. Instead of something like a smooth road course, it is hard turn after hard turn including slaloms.

I don't get smartphones. Capacitive touchscreens are garbage, making it a fudgy pain in the ass to do anything. I read that phone call quality is often subpar, and texting on a touchscreen would slow me down. Battery life is measured in hours, while I can never recall the last time I needed to charge my flip phone (a week or more). I think people who use them for internet things at home instead of a computer (if they have one) are crazy because the screen is so small. Any data you have on them is vulnerable, but people wave them around at the bar or set them down instead of always keeping them in a pocket (because they're too big, isn't it?).

I understand the benefits of having internet and mapping and whatnot with you, but paper maps, pre-printed directions, and intuition have always served me, and the internet is something I use at home. I don't find the time to play games outside of the house (I have a phat DS), and to me gaming is worthless on a capacitive touchscreen anyway.

My avatar is my dog, Tundra. :) 👍

I find them immensely useful. The only time I ever get a problem with the screen is if it gets wet.

The mapping is no doubt one of the most useful features, having completed four ~ 500-1000 mile road trips last year, in foreign countries, on my own, paper maps would not have been viable at all - and I've found google maps navigation on my phone far superior to any OEM or aftermarket Sat-Nav I've used. And, having pretty much full access to the internet when alone in foreign countries is immensely useful... not to mention even when I'm in a different town here in the UK, it can be really handy for finding pubs/restaurants etc. I like to spend as much time as possible at race tracks, and again, having the internet in my pocket really helps keep track of things. Voice interaction on the phone makes things even slicker.

I also make more video calls than I do normal voice calls, which is crucial for me since my girlfriend currently lives 1800 miles away.

I don't game on it at all, but I do use the internet on it at home... tonight for instance I'll be using my phone to watch the Spa 24 on YouTube once I've retired to bed.

Much as kids these days being glued to their phones is annoying, and much as I despise trendy phone culture, I can't deny how useful smartphones are.

Brings me to one thing....

One Direction's music isn't that bad.

First off, I don't really care for them all that much, however I never thought their songs were all that bad. I have seen some compare them to people like Justin Bieber and I think even Rebecca Black, but I don't think One Direction is really that bad. Point is, while I don't care much for them, their songs are okay to me and I have no problem with them.

My two cents on gran furismo

-PD shouldn't have wasted time on GT5P and just made GTHD into 5

-GTPSP was a failed game

-PS3 and Xbox 360 were made too early

-Physical books are far better than e-books

-Un-popped popcorn kernals deserve to be eaten too (Just with care as to not crack your teeth in half or die choking)

It also had Rage Against the Machine, so the argument has become valid again. Current day artists also include One Direction, so it's definitely valid.

RATM is only slightly better than Limp Bizkit.

Also, One Direction wouldn't exist if these guys didn't make it big in the 90's.

Completely disagree with you there. Oasis and Blur are definitely better than Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez. Red Hot Chili Peppers over the TwentyOneGoofs. The only current, American band I like is The Black Keys, but I like less than 10 of their songs. A few current British bands I like too.
Somebody's probably pointed this out before, but for every great band/artist from the 90s there's a load of crap contemporary ones who've faded from memory like b4-4. The crap artists/bands of today are still fresh in our collective memory.

Probably true. But who I think of the crap ones are good ones to other people. We'll see in like 10 years.

I really don't care for either of them, but I've heard more RATM songs than Limp Bizkit songs. I didn't even know who they were.

Baseball needs steroids again, or atleast some way for there to be more offense. That's the only way it'll become watchable, for me at least. Too much of a Pitcher's league. 2013, 2010, and 2007 were the last 3 years there was a guy with a 50 home run season. Baseball needs more of that.

My 'natural' sleeping pattern, with no obligations to go to bed or get up at a particular time, is 5am-3pm. Difficult to work around that.
Mine too. I had to force myself to sleep earlier. I managed to get it to around 1-2am bed time.

- GT5 was worse than GT6.
- I think that bacon is disgusting.
- I don't like the taste of chocolate. It's far too intense for me.

Racing wheels add nothing to the racing game experience.

I purchased a DFGT and have spent hours with it but just can't see what everyone else sees in them. My lap times were slightly better (still slow though) but it didn't do much from the immersion side of things. Perhaps once I get a bigger TV (currently use a 22" monitor) it will change things but currently my wheel is collecting dust.

I found the opposite. My T500RS totally elevated the experience for me after I bought it specifically for GT6, however, my times were always slower with the wheel than with the controller.
