Update 1.03 (Released - January 14th)

I gave PD my money which they gladly took then handed me a game that was only 1/3 of what was promised.

Then stop whining about it and sue them.

Mind you, the game I gave them money for had exactly the content that the page for the game and all press material said it would have about a month before it was released. It wasn't missing 66% of those features - it wasn't even missing a single percent of them. So it may be you've got a dodgy disc and should exchange it before you go down the legal route.

Or it may be you've chosen to ignore official sources of information and buy into what some unverifiable source has speculated on a third party website - like you've done for the v1.03 update which you're still insisting is delayed despite only being announced today for a release tomorrow. In which case you're one of those consumers that makes uninformed purchases and then sticks to the tired line than the customer is always right - and the whining is just whining.

Why is everyone so much a Homer fanboy supporter of PD? PD takes our money, brags about the number of people that race, number of races etc but still over promises and under delivers. Why is that acceptable to anybody?

Take our money? It's purely optional. Vote with your wallet. I enjoy GT, and even as GT6 stands now it's enjoyable TO ME. Therefore they get my money.

But seriously, does every thread have to be this way? Hopefully the GT6 forum gets to the point where people just simply enjoy it for what it is. Rather than complain, cry, hound the news for new information on it, and then continue to play the game on a daily basis like a bunch of hypocrites.

You're right there, it isn't but... you are just trolling.

The only legitimate criticism you can have is they made an error in the first Red Bull update stating the events would be available 1st January, which they've admitted was an error.

Why on earth did you buy the game expecting fictional promises to be fulfilled when you knew PD's track record was "so bad".

Owners of GT6 will be the first to test-drive the FT-1 as a free online update and will be made available on 14 January. Once the Update has been installed, a unique Seasonal Event featuring the Toyota FT-1 will be made available in the game.

I am hoping those will be part of the update, They did mention before release that those would be coming in a January update if I remember correctly. More online options would be great at this point now that many of us have completed A-Spec mode and are looking for better races online. Would also be great if they give us a leaderboard system to track and compare our hot lap times with friends and the rest of the world.

I personally was promised nothing but as a customer, just like yourself, I will tell you what was / is suppose to be included but isn't:

Track editor

New community features: organize clubs, communicate in forums and host race events for members.

Not to mention the pipe dream musings of Kaz over 7 point suspension testing tools and phone apps that interact with the game.

PD announced the features list about a month before the game was released. If you're butt-hurt because you bought the game and then found something was missing, it's entirely your own fault.

No one is as so banally stated "butt hurt".

None of which was stated to be included in the release version, published on the gran-turismo.com website a month before release - and which doesn't form 66% of the game's content. If you thought it was, you were taking information from the wrong source and that is no-one's problem but yours.

Now, you seem to have missed this instruction or taken it as a suggestion. Stop. Not only is what you're posting utter rubbish (and you know it - if you had grounds for recourse you'd have done it by now), it borders on libellous at times and is so far away from the topic it's untrue.

All we know about the update is:

Sexy Supra, M4 interior, Seasonals for each of those cars.

Actualy it's not a Supra, nowhere does it state that, it's a concept called the FT-1. I remember for years how people kept stating like they had insider knowledge that the Lexus LFA was infact the Toyota Supra. Until Toyota themselves announce it, it's called the FT-1 ! Also, sorry to tell you, the seasonal for the M4 doesn't come out tomorrow. If you had read the article correctly then you would have known this but just incase you genuinley missed it here's the link for you
