Update 1.03 (Released - January 14th)

Was never empty, had Anni cars in there since the start. I used it many times and have like 200 something cars in my stockyard, and there all fine. In fact, it was always fine from the start of 1.01 anyway.

:)
It was the same thing for me oddly enough, I used it originally to store cars I bought when I did that 20 million CR and they would always be there.

The bug not being fixed yet doesn't mean they're not on it you know.

The game has been out for more then a month and we can't even do a pit stop or have endurance races. I don't know if they're on it or not but for a bug as huge as this, should be fixed some time ago. This is now the second big update and still nothing, sorry but I'm getting a bit worried about it.

In all seriousness, how are you supposed to drive an MR versus a FR? I assume the main issue is having all that extra weight in the middle/back, but how does that translate to driving differently from a FR? My messed up logic tells me it should have better traction with more weight on the "driving" tires and better balance overall, no?

I did 2 endurance races online this past Sunday, both with pitstops and I had no issues. Lap times on the second set of tires were the same as the first set and each race used different compounds (one Comfort, one Sport).

I've been using the Lotus Europa S.2 15th Anniversary Edition '68 in career mode and it has been a chore. With the 1.03 update I was able to set Camber to 2.0 Front, 1.5 Rear & the car is now drivable with a touch of care. Looks like camber may be in play again as a usable tuning parameter. I tried this as a fix in the past without much effect as I recall.

Anyone notice if some of your cars have been slowed down? Couple of mine have. Rpm's are off on ones that we're already tuned.... Oh PD why????

Apologies if this has already been posted..

RA functionality for G27 now available in options :D

Programmed it 'onto' the wheel (buttons), but haven't been on track to test...

RA adjustment was already available on a G27 since 1.02. ;)
It didn't work properly online though, any words on that?

For those complaining of a pit stop bug... this doesn't happen to me. Pit works fine. Tire wear is much the same on the second stint. GT6 freezing issues? Haven't had it happen once.

Starting to think y'all complaining are exaggerating it.

Do you actually have any idea how hard it can be to track down the cause of a bug in a game this complex, let alone fix it? Because I don't think that you or most of the people acting like the bug not being fixed after less than a month and a half is the end of the world actually do comprehend how difficult bug fixing can be in modern games.

Edit for moar

Notice in the middle of the video, around 20 minutes how Senna , bobby r hall and others mimick the movement of the rear during breaking and instability, so
A) yes, there are broken cars in the game
B) some can't drive
C) not all real life cars are great, good, ok, or even bad... Some cars plain and simply 🤬

Same here. I think it's one of those "practise and it'll get better" scenarios. Still love driving them though, but not as much as my RUFs. :)

My guess is that most people think bugs get highlighted in the game code first time someone mentions it and automatically corrects it self.

Exposure has definitely changed in cockpit view. Will have to try the cars I remember being the darkest.

I just tried it - no, nothing was fixed regarding dark onboard shadows. Still the same. I did an extensive test yesterday, before patch, and i tried the exact same things today - abosulutely no improvements to those inky dark (unrealistic) shadows which cover dials depending on your position on the track

The weight balance more toward the rear means it's a lot harder to bring it back when the back end starts to wash out. In particular, they're very touchy about trail braking; if you know what you're doing, you can use it to your advantage to help rotate the car into the turn, but it's easy to overdo it. You also have to watch out for off-throttle oversteer in turns (related to the touchiness trail braking). If you're not absolutely on the ragged edge, you can get out of these by applying a little power, but that requires you to leave yourself a little room to apply power. Unlike with FR cars where you'll usually only oversteer by putting in too much power, with MR cars you can also oversteer by putting in too little power.

Ever noticed that many (not all) forum members who expect 100% perfection in extremely complex software products have trouble writing even one sentence without a spelling mistake, grammatical error, misuse of punctuation or capitalization?

Irony, I guess.

Edit: Yes, there some for whom English is not their first language. Some.

As I heard the bug happens only on Racing tyres. Perhaps try out all tyres before you make a conclusion.

No, I have no idea how this works and how they fix it. But if you ask me this is huge mistake from PD and it shoudn't happen in the first place. We certanly didn't have this issues in previous GT's.

I didn't make a conclusion, I shared an experience that this bug does not apply to all tire types. Your first post made it sound like any race with pitstops is affected by this, which is not the case. I was simply clarifying.

80% perfection would be nice.:P

You probably have something like 99.99% today as measured by percentage of test cases passed.

At 80% correct code, software is typically unusable.

GT6 does an incredible amount of stuff that you don't see, and, in the main, it works perfectly. GT6 gets your PS3 to perform billions of actions per second on your behalf.

I don't see any evidence of SEV1 errors (rendering the product unusable).

There are some design issues which could be better. Hopefully, in the fullness of time, these will be improved. Meanwhile, we have a working product, and we have it today, not when perfection has been achieved.

You ever noticed that many forum members haven't English as their first language, but still have the right to comment on the huge shortcomings of this game?

True. Let me help you. In English, we would say "comment on the...". But otherwise, you did really well!

The bug not being fixed yet doesn't mean they're not on it you know.

The thing is, we don't know that because there is so little communication with PD. If we had some contact point, a simple "we are aware of and working to resolve this issue" statement would make me feel a lot better. Then we wouldn't have to keep pushing for a fix at every opportunity because we would at least know it's on PD's radar.

My buddy says disable collision is still not added....

I could have done without an interior view of a car that we already had & now get to win again? For this feature that was already in gt5 to be left out I don't understand. Feeling bummed right now
I was hoping for that as well but maybe we will still get it before the month is out with the community features.

I tried a RR car with custom wheels and could not tell any difference than before in the way it drove.
Kinda disappointed by this for an "update". Very little.
Same here, I thought that when there were saying it was 1.03 that it would be an update along the lines of 1.01 and 1.02. Previous updates that just added a car, seasonal or bug fixes did not have a number of them.
