I'm having this crazy problem.

I'm unable to change the rims of my R34, as my PS3 will then just freeze. This didn't happen once, nor twice, but three times!

I don't know if it's affecting other cars, but I would rather have rims that will change than have colored calipers.

its random bro,
look 8 posts above you
youre not the only one
lets hope PD makes this a hotfix

Well, time to be patient. I am in Barcelona this days and my PS3 is on the other side of the mediterranean...
Maybe its just a small detail but numbers on every car just looks pretty cool :)

Nice.

Looking forward to testing out the new VGT's.

I think it's interesting to speculate on what the technical implications of being able to add the race numbers and paint the calipers are to a full livery editor - Can anyone put the GT number patch on a car and take a close-up in photomode, I'm curious to see if this is a texture or geometry intersection.

The explanation for that is something I'm not ready to talk about just yet...

But I will say that the Earth's oceans have something to do with it.

Am I the only one that doesnt care about those number plates?

And yes, another 2 GB gone for my PS3, I ran out of space (I have only 40GB :() I am deleting GT5 data now... :(

I love that everyone is complaining about a 3 hour wait, or that they only got x% in x minutes. Unless I take my ps3 to a friends, it will legitimately take ~2 days, give or take 4 hours, to download an update this large. I don't wana hear it! :P

Pff, switched from wifi to cable to reduce the download error.:banghead:
2115mb download, between 30 and 35 minutes ( my internet is much faster, it's a Sony/PD problem)
Install into PS3, 4 minutes:dopey:
Install into GT6, 25 minutes.
Hotfix download and install, 3 minutes.

Used space on my PS3, Calculating,calculating,calculating,OMG,calculating,calculating 15GB
Not much replays saved, so that keeps it on 15GB

Redbull is texture glitchy now, so, yeah, i got it too now.
They fixed bathhurst, and kept redbull ring..bummer.

Bye

If we ever get Zahara added in GT6 it's gonna be awesome to take a lot of these 60's-70's European sports cars out and do some racing. It'll have a very Targa Florio, Mille Miglia type feel to it just having these cars with numbers added on them. Gullwing, 246 Dino, Alpine, Stratos if you can make it handle... I think it'll be cool.

Mine pulled it down in 28 minutes. 1.5 MB a second.
Australia. Just run of the mill ADSL2 with Telstra.
Lucky, lucky you. That's 12Mbps next time you need to quote it. I'm also with Telstra, have ADSL2+, and have been downloading this patch for nearly 3 hours (with 60% to go) at 0.4-1.4 Mbps. I assume there is also the extra install phase like with the last few patches, so let's see if it gets done before midnight
Gt6. The real memory snatching simulator.

And it's not finished yet :nervous:
And at this rate, if we get 1GB of video per VGT car (plus a few gigs of extra stuff), we'll end up with at least 30 GB of patches when all is said and done.
