Considering the wait, are you happy with how the finished product appears to look?

And the things would be what??? I will use bluestacks on the PC, because I dont have a hyper modern so cool smartphone or tablet :P I can draw very well with the mouse, so no problems.

I'll tell you one thing - Fruit Ninja absolutely sucks with a mouse! :D. So does just about anything else on a laptop if I want to do it laying in bed or on the sofa downstairs...

I'm real sorry some of you guys resent people who own tablets so much. There's probably lots of folks out there who wish they could afford a PS3 too...

Guess which Circuit is exactly 10 KM...

I'm actually glad they've made it an app for tablets. I no longer have a ps3, and I have no interest in going back to GT6 anyway, not even for this, but I will certainly get the app to have a look at what it can do.

The thing that interests me about this, is they could have just put the editor in GT6, but chose to make a tablet app to do it instead, which would have been far harder. I am going to speculate right now that the reason for this is so that the same app could be used in other games or other machines, e.g. GT7 on PS4.

From the article, it seems you log in to your psn account in the app, and make the track, which will then be available to that psn account when you log in to the game. In theory, this could be easily transferred over to the PS4. If they wanted to add new locations in GT7 they'd just update the app. I could be wrong, but it'd explain why they've chosen a much more complicated way of doing this.

I find it a smart move to make it on mobile devices, the PS3 can only go so far with track creation, and mobile devices can allow you to go more in depth. I'm betting that the reason for the delay was they originally tried to make it on the PS3, didn't work, then after some planning they went for a mobile app, and the rest is history.

Dont care if the cheapest or the most expensive mobile phone, i dont give a .... about these new mobile devices.
I have an 7 year old SonyErisccon C510 where the battery lasts 8 days. Never changed it and happy with it.
How much the battery lasts on today phones. 1 day if you dont touch it, am i right???

Cuz they are so complicated, you cant even have a normal phone call when you press something cuz everything is on stupid touch
I know I'm a bit late but...

Battery life depends on how you use your phone.

If you're looking at Apple's App Store then I definitely wouldn't expect it to say Android compatible!

Just wait for it on the Google Play Store.
Well, I am living in the old world without smartphones, tablets, apps and stuff like this. I have to use Bluestacks :(

This is gonna be great if we can directly control it like they are saying.

Can't wait to see all the duplicate real world tracks and comparing who has the most accurate version!
Right, but there will be a problem, maybe two.

1. You will soon have a bunch of poor made recreations like the old Hockenheim or Imola. If there is not an ranking system to highlight the good from the bad layouts, there will be a lot of frustration.

2. As the company who has the rights for everything concerning "my" track, like Imola. I wouldnt like to see, people use my track layout without permission. So... sue PD, Sony, the user himself??

In other words, everyone re-create the real circuits as quickly as possible before there's a chance of track owners or other developers complaining.

I think you're far from the "Old World"
GT6 is essentially an online game, as is the whole PS3 platform, not to mention you're a member of a big online community in GT6

maybe in "Denial" :D

Well after this long of a wait I am going to withhold judgement till I get to mess with it. May need a new tablet to play with, don't think the first gen Nexus 7 will hold a charge for any period of time any more.

Here are the descriptions in English (sorry if they've already been posted)

In my opinion, this course maker isn't as flexible as it could've been (i.e. can't change elevation, it forces you to put corners after home straight, can't have the circuit cross itself like Suzuka), but it should still be great fun nonetheless.

As someone said in the news section, it's WAY too late now. But I hope you guys who still play GT6 enjoy it. Me personally, I have lost all interest on Gran Turismo as a whole (for now...). I don't think I even have a PS3 anymore ( I don't even know where it is, lol). PCars is gaining my devotion day by day, I've clocked over 300 hours in Euro Truck Simulator 2, and I'm about to buy myself an Xbox One and Forza 6.

I'm still eager to see what PD will come up with in about two or three years from now. I still hope that GT7 will be THE one.

10 kilometers max, eh? Well, this one certainly fits the bill...

We might not have an in-city nighttime setting available for the Course Maker, but at least we could make the layout happen. And as far as I'm concerned, joining these two tracks (using either the GT1 or GT3 variant of SSR11) would be just about shy of 9 kilometers. So yeah, this is possible. :)
