Considering the wait, are you happy with how the finished product appears to look?

Yep, you can download a real map and draw over it.

I just yelled out "OHHHHHHHHH YEAHHH!!!"

I'm glad that I bought an iPad Air!

This is cool and all, but doesn't that make GT putting new tracks into the game redundant now since we can just trace our own tracks?

Just a thought.

Doesn't seem these tracks have customizeable height, so it won't be accurate to the real-world circuits. Road width, tarmac roughness/bumps, tree placements, landmark structures, it won't be like the real tracks, just the general layout.

It's not the same. PD has full disposal of track scanning technology and the environments they create are more varied and accurate than just these 4 themes.

Tracing a track out on a plot of land that we can't edit the elevation of? I don't think that'd really work in place of authentic tracks. There's also little chance course maker tracks will have the level of detail that real ones do, with mid-corner bumps and such. The Karussell at the 'Ring, for example, is unlikely to be recreated.

Most interesting... Can you modify the scale of the track simply? For example, if you draw your track, then find out it is a bit too long and decide to tune it down with a slider of some sort?

Can you drag and drop the already-drawn track on the map to displace the mountain/hill, forest or city?

Your track is limited to 10 km.

If by "little chance" you mean no chance then yes I agree... :D
