I did a few laps in the Brands Hatch TT with my main account and ran a 50.49 for current P2. It's a shame SRF is forced on.
Go to your garage and lower PP level to meet the entry requirements. You will also need to make sure you have the correct tires as well. How are yall using the Quattro S1 rally car??? It won't even let me select it.
Haven't seen any sign of a B Spec set of races. I think it was a waste of space in GT5, except for dirtying oil, which itself was a dubious attainment.
Also, the engine sound in both the GT6's I have is very low compared to GT5, that is the engine sound when using the view from the front of the car showing the speedo and tacho.
Anyone else noticed that?[/quote]
Yea, I have. When I first booted up the game, I had to turn up my speakers quite a bit from where I had them in GT5. I also use the same view as you.
Are you talking about the AMG VGT Merc seasonal? I did one lap without tuning or practice or anything haha, I really don't like Mattehorn, it's a strange track...Speaking of 'The Bandit's' races, I was surprised to see I was above him on the leaderboard in one of the races. I put this down to him...
Wait, update...England 9 out 2nd test. Aussies on their way to a another Test victory.
down to him just racing through the races, so to speak, without worrying too much about winning every one at this stage.
I was even able to regularly beat him to the top of the hill in the Merc race, all due to braking better for the l/hander at the bottom if the hill.
One has to take ones little wins when one can.
Wait a minute, all I got from the AE were the cars, what about this 1M credit line you're talking about? How did I get robbed?Personally I think it's awesome how they keep the rewards low. That way you have to actually consider what to buy. There was zero feel of reward in GT5 where you could get pretty much any car by doing a few races. I'm actually slightly annoyed that you get 1M credits with AE.

Yeah, I'll come back to it soon hopefully, just trying to complete the career at the moment. Just got Nat A, Int B and Int A races to complete, along with those one make races, then I'm finished Already got 88% of the trophiesYeah mate, the flash free Merc race at Matterhorn. It took me a few laps (more than a few actually) to complete this race, 1st or 2nd completion was gold, about a second behind you by the end of it.
Tell you what I don't like is the other peoples blue race lines (ghosts) behind their names, when there are a bunch of them it can block the track view.
And like I said, I had more than a sneaky suspicion that you weren't doing your best in the races where I came close etc, more like just getting the races under your belt.

You do know that you can get rid of those right? I believe you hit "up" on the d-pad and they will disappear. They were annoying the hell out of me too in the license tests.
Nice try! I spent a couple of hours doing it, I'm actually surprised that my setup works, maybe in GT6 there will be more variety of fast setups?I was chasing Bandit's ghost for about 200 laps and ended up with a 29.540. I did red lap a .468 at one point and I can beat him in all the sectors.
Yes it does turn off ghost as well.I read somewhere that if you turn off your friends" blue lines"' it also turns off your own ghost ?, maybe somebody can confirm that.
Yes it does turn off ghost as well.
The blue lines don't bother me at all to be honest, your eyes should be looking ahead, not at the road in front of your carJust having the drivers names on the screen, same as in the open lobby in GT5, probably wouldn't be too bad, but those blue lines take up too much space and can be a bloody nuisance near corners.
Your own ghost car plus the leaders name and blue line may be ok. Early days here I guess.

Totally agree with you 100%.You would think that would be the case, however as far as you are concerned there would be very few, if any, names and lines in front of you to worry about. For us lesser mortals though there could be a dozen and that represents a solid wall of blue which can block out what is ahead of you, especially where sharp corners are concerned.
And I haven't fired up today so I'll stand corrected, but I think the lines are above the road, not on it, which can block the road up 'ahead'.
The blue lines don't bother me
Just done 1:03.3 and will leave it at that for now as I can't really find a good setup for the horrible bumps on this circuit.I see The Bandit did come back and have another crack at Matterhorn in the AMG, now sitting on 1:03.9.
That's nearly 5 sec's better than my time. Guess I won't be getting in front of his name and bluey again on that one. Ha ha, more traffic to contend with.
The blue lines don't bother me either.............that's cuz I haven't got many friends
