My recently won WR stage 5 for Tesla Model 3 will find some use...

And WTC 800 at Spa was one of my last WTC800 event to do :)

Why is it written "Limited Time online event" under the Tesla one?

All "Special Event" races since the very first one have said that. It's merely a notation that the race is created for this week only - no idea why it says "online" as there's nothing online (except having to be online to play it, the same as all of the rest of them) about it.

I did not noticed it before, and the "online" was what startled me. Thanks for the clarification.

Decent races next week! Added to the daily login bonuses, it should represent a chance for big credits gains...

Late to the party as usual, so here's my car choices for this week's challenges:

Fairlady 240ZG 1971 CS (BB Raceway)
Clio 24v V6 2000 CS (Brand's Hatch)
Delta HF Integrale 1991 (Catalunya Rallycross)
Zonda R 2009 RM (Nordschleife)**
Civic Touring Car SH
FK-swapped Civic EK 1998 SH (had to try both, 1997 model totally redundant in this race)

**The Pagani Zonda at the Nordschleife is probably the most fun I've had in single player to date, thanks to whomever recommended it here.

I hope the payout bug has been fixed. I didn't get any of my tickets during the last weekly challenges. I'd hate to have to deal with the same thing when there are so many credits to be had this time around.

Ugggh two thing s I hate, Teslas(in real life) and Tokyo course. Anyone have a good tune for the Tesla?
Bore kit, cams, exhaust manifold, and forged pistons/rods.

:D

PS - 1.3mil credits! Let's go!

You're welcome.
Only done one thus far: went right for the Nord!

Used the Zonda R, on RS tires and pit every lap (would've needed to anyway since she drinks fuel). It was fun; been a while since I had this car out.

Glad to see a good payout for this week's challenge. I have to buy a Tesla for the one make race. It would be really great if they did the one make race at Brand Central for all of the cars. Looking forward to the rest of the races though

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Just a quick tip ...... the penalty system on world ....touring 800 ( Spa 60mins ) is brutal ...
I was going well 2nd at around 30mins , until heavy rain , so went off as slicks don't work in rain , and I get a 1minute .58 penalty . 😱🤬... seems way too harsh , it means doing half a lap unable to accelerate although you can still move at 5mph , great down the straights when everyone else is doing 160+ . ... Overall result is just quit , no point in even continuing. 🤬🤬

Is a Tesla really that silent?
Yes, it is :) (I've only drive a model X, not the 3)
When I drive in full electric mode, my BMW is as silent as that.

Speaking about Spa WTC 800, here is my best advice.

I drove this one many times to grind cash and the best car is clearly the Toyota TS030.
It's not the fastest car at 800PP but keep in mind that it's not a sprint race but an endurance.
At FM6 with the TS030, you wont need to pit once for refueling. AT ALL. Some AI cars will pit 2, 3 or 4 times!!
For the tyres, I start with RH. When the rain come, I switch to intermediate and finish the race peacefuly.

It's one hour race, so no need to hurry because with the TS030, you'll easily win with 2 laps ahead with the CRB.

Have fun!

Ive been playing for 2 weeks now. Its my first foray into the gran turismo world. Im up to collector level 40.

The teslas quietness was flat weird. it was hard to judge speed with how quiet it was.

Looks like Ill be having some heavy grinding to get the Mclarren f1 thats in the legends store. Hoping it will still be there. I'll need it for the neo classic race in this as Ive tried my audi rally car and it really doesnt cut it. Two 4th place finishes in my attempts.

I'll likely take out my Redbull x2019 as its been a go to car for me. I can finish Sardegna in 27 minutes with a 750k payout. Ill likely use it in the endurance race too.

It's been a while since I did the neo races but I seem to recall the Escudo was a good choice there. That one's in the legends dealer as well currently, and a lot cheaper than the McLaren.

So why the TS030 over the TS050? Also how does it compare to the red bull x2019?

Thank you I'll look into it. I know the audi sport quattro was very twitchy under braking and it bit me a few times.

I have but didn't tried the TS050, so I can't reply you on that point :)
Dunno if you can race 1 hour without refueling with the Red Bull but you can with the Toyota :)
And if the weather isn't too bad (light rain or no rain at all, it happen), you won't need to change the RH on the TS030.

Thank you again for the tip with the escudo. I just did the weekly neo classic in first place because of it. I do appreciate it.

I might grind hard for the f1 because ive heard its so good and afraid it will leave the legend store soon.
