PRE-RACE PRACTICE SESSIONS
As I'm sure you all know I will be hosting a practice session (3-4 hours long) during the week before each race and as we will be 3/4 of the way through testing after this weekend I am looking to confirm the final little detail on the calendar 👍
I need to know when the majority of you will be available to do this.
So that I can put it on the calendar for everyone's information
I would like to do it on the Wednesday or Thursday evening if we can.
The idea is that if we have a practice session before each race then we all have the same pre race practice opportunity.
In the interest of fair sportsmanship I would also like those who can't get to the official practice sessions to practice for a similar amount of time and no more
(so those that have the time to practice more don't have an unfair advantage of extra track time)
There is no way for me to police this so can't make it a regulation but please be fair guys as not everyone has the same amount of time to get onto GT and to practice
THIS WEEKEND
PRE-SEASON TEST SESSIONS 5&6
The session's will begin at 6pm with a free run practice for you all to get to know your car's and find a setup that works for you.
At 7:45 I will do a quick spec check and we will have a shortened qualifying session to decide a grid.
Around 8pm we will start a race planned to last about 1 hour (laps will be decided on the day).
This will allow us to see if the different strengths of each car are working properly and the car's are balanced (or not) and if any adjustments need to be made.
It will also provide everyone with some practice racing each other before the real racing begins.
And give me a really good look at how many laps I need to make each race
ALL RACE RULES WILL BE IN PLACE
Although penalties will be relaxed.
This does not mean the you can get away with aggressive/dangerous/unruly driving.
Just means championship penalties don't apply.
Unofficial warning(s) may be given if the stewards in attendance see anything unruly.
In the event of warning being given then that driver will be watched closely through the remainder of the pre-season test's.
Too many warnings will still result in a penalty or ban from racing in the season.
On Saturday we will be going to Spa.
The parts of the tack at Spa the steward's will be particularly watching will be:
EXIT TURN 1: It is very possible to get on the power too early and run wide gaining an advantage.
TURNS 3,4,&5:These corners make up Eau Rouge and Raidllion, As I'm sure some of you know it is easy to cut the apex at the top of the hill and gain an advantage.
TURN 12: This is Pouhon and again we will be looking for cars running too wide as you will gain an advantage from this.
TURN 18: Blanchimont, Again it is the outside of the track where an advantage can be gained.
TURNS 19&20: Bus stop chicane, As always it seems with Spa we will be looking at the exit for cars running wide.
You all should know the rules and expectations if a mistake is made and you find yourself in this situation 👍
PIT ENTRY:
The Pit entrance is on the right in the middle of the last chicane and to my knowledge there is no line or way to cause an incident on the way into the pits
PIT EXIT:
When exiting the pits there is a white line that you must stay inside of (close to the barrier to the right)
Again you should all know the ruling 👍
On Sunday we will be going to the Millionaire's playground, Monaco.
The parts of the tack at Monaco the steward's will be particularly watching will be:
Well none

if you go off track you will be in a barrier
Pit Entry:
Is between turns 16 & 17, Rascasse and Antony Noghes on your right and no line in to my knowledge.
Pit Exit
I will be more important that ever here to keep inside the pit exit line when leaving the pits as the track is so narrow.
Drivers coming up the start finish straight should have a check on their mini map to check if there is a car coming out the pits and will be expected to allow space where the pit exit is.
I will be trying to keep as much of an eye on everyone's lap times as I can but will be on track for as much time as I can. Any driver that feels their car is too slow/fast (

like you will complain about that

) please let your concerns known by both IWIN and myself so that we then know that a review is needed.
Full details of post test information regarding cars, warnings, lap times, test race results etc. will be posted in the 'last event details' post 👍
Hope to see you all there 👍
