That Megane Trophy is excellent, isn't it?

I'm thinking of getting the Silvia Touring Car just for variety. Who's tune do you use for it? Thanks.
I very much like the Silvia Touring car. Can really recommend it. It's great fun at Le Mans too.

Compulsory WTC700 grind with my 918 Spyder (I take a bunch of different cars there, not only one). I actually got a 6-star Roulette Ticket, but because someone at Polyphony thought that getting a straight regular 6-star ticket was too much, it was an engine ticket. I got the 787B engine, at that. I have like seven of them, but I'll take it.

Other than that, my CTR3 GT1 project car is finished. I'll probably move on to my Nismo Z Z-Tune next.

On the GTP account, I decided to try a stock Silvia Touring Car at Sarthe. I had a very odd weather race - a bit of rain during lap 2-3 during which only I came down for intermediates (on lap 2), then more rain that caused the field to come down for intermediates. As I trailed McEwen down pit road on lap 5, I took only fuel even though my tires were almost half-worn. I held him off for a 9-second win in 33:02.

I think I'll stick with the tuned version. Meanwhile, the all-car 4-star Wheel of Despair gave me a second Taycan, the only non-race car on the wheel.

On the Plus account, after buying the McLaren Gr.1 VGT (which I didn't buy yesterday), the (2015) MINI Clubman VGT, and intermediate/wet tires for the Clubman, I took the Clubman to Sarthe. The Clubman is relatively quick (4:21 is possible), though very thirsty (FM 3 is needed to make it 3 laps). It was another rather wet race, with rain starting on lap 2 and going on and off through lap 5. I came down for intermediates on lap 2 and full-wets on lap 4, which is when the rest of the field finally decided to grab intermediates. I parked at the end of lap 6, hoping everybody would come back down for a fresh set of tires and not crossing the start-finish line before making it to their pit, but Haywood blew that up by staying out. I managed to make the wet tires last on a rapidly-drying track to finish 1st over Haywood.

The all-car 4-star marathon roulette gave another Charger Safety Car. It and the X-Bow were the two most-expensive cars on the block, so assuming we can sell these cars soon, it wasn't too bad.

I decided car selling gift cars will never happen. So I deleted all my duplicates except for the NSX’s just in case. It’s nice to have a clutter free garage. No more having to check odometers and pp’s when selecting a car to make sure it’s the one I use.

I also finished my repainting (style’s) all cars with a racing livery. Big thanks to the skilled artists out there.

Checked the LCD for for the CLK. Sucker punched again by PD.

4 star gave me 30K.

I'm still tweaking my 1999 JGTC Custom Race(s).

The main problem is that the three main cars - the Honda NSX, Toyota Supra and Nissan Skyline GT-R GT500s - all have different fuel levels, and hence there's no way to engineer a race where they all only pit once to refuel. The solution? Use tyre wear instead.

However, even that is not all that straightforward. Again, they all have quite different characteristics in terms of how fast their tyres wear, and even with tyre wear set to the maximum (50x), all three can run for over 30 minutes without having to stop once for new tyres.

That said, I think that stretching out the race to 45-60 minutes and keeping tyre wear at the max should yield a race where all AI cars must stop once about midway through the race (which recreates the driver change stop in a real JGTC race quite nicely), and should also mean that whatever car I choose to drive for the race should only have to stop once as well.

-

The bad news is that the rubber-banding is still pretty ridiculous.

I was actually running in a standard Skyline against a full grid of GT500s, and I was the only car that had to pit for tyres - two NSXs were much quicker than the rest of the field, but I was racing them for the win. However, despite pitting for fresh (Wet) tyres, I caught and passed the NSXs within 2 laps (maybe even just 1, can't fully remember!), which is.... ridiculous. And that is with BOP and boost OFF...

I ran this one at Sardegna. Aiming for a 1-stop race, I changed it to RH and removed the restrictor. Fast,(even on FM6), a bit thirsty,(needed to some fuel saving to complete lap 8), and a bit hard on tires, (75% worn at the end of lap 8). No issues, easy win.

Excellent tune.

I also ran a few WTC700's with the A220. I had another race where I stopped for Wets twice.

The wheel yielded a Sirocco street car of some kind. Meh. Another one I'll probably never use.

Opened my 6 star (engine) ticket from a few days ago - hellcat! Already got like 15 of this so shut the game down and I’ll wait and see what I get next week after the update. Then booted it back up, did the pan American championship in my Z06 and got a 4 star ticket. Opened it and it was another AMG A45 so again shut down to see what I get after the update!!

I started my custom 15 race Formula 1 season with the MP4/4s and F1500T-As around Interlagos and Trial Mountain and so far I'm liking what I'm seeing though I'm seeing that the F1500T-As are better on the long races than the MP4/4s while the MP4/4s are only good for short races.

Now for the specs what I did is that I decreased the horsepower, added the front and rear downforce, and added weight depending on the team colors that the MP4/4 and F1500T-As are using except for the McLaren colored ones where I didn't change their specs.

Here's the results of the first two GPs for those curious.

Brazilian GP (round 1 and played as Alain Prost)

Nevada GP (round 2 and played as Ayrton Senna)

Two rounds down 13 more to go.

I finally golded the Fisherman's Ranch circuit experience. Had some pretty wild jumps, but got lucky with the landings.
I then decided to try the helmet and suit livery editor. Ended up with IKEA as my main sponsor. The helmet livery was inspired by Ronnie Peterson's F1 helmet.

Today wasn't interesting for what I did, but rather for what I got:

Given that the car already has about 600 horsepower at stock, I can't wait to see what kind of funny numbers I'll get out of it with this.

My last two 4-star tickets have been height-adjustable suspension for a Corvette, and an invite to buy a Citroen...

Surely over 1000bhp?! (If you fully upgrade it!)

I got one of those for gt-r safety car

Forgot to take picks of two different birds at Trial Mountain. One was a stork or other long legged bird flying overhead. The other, I think, was an eagle.

As for my garage, been playing classic GT, with the GT1 car list pre-2000. The PS5 sounds make the experience so great during replays. It's a fantastic game, in that sense.

On the Plus account, I took the Aston Martin V12 Vantage to Sardegna for an easy win. Paying more attention to the Packer game than the racing cost me 10 seconds, but I still had 24 to spare as I did a "normal" 2-full stop run in 26:51. The 4-star Wheel of Despair gave the low-showing 30,000 Cr., but I still had enough to get the Mitsubishi VGT.

On the GTP account, after finding the Vulcan too thirsty, I took the 962 C out for some clubbing. The 4-star Wheel of Despair gave me the 2018 Subaru BRZ STI Sport.

After that, I played in the dirt for this week's WRS time trial.

Almost... 992 horsepower with all the upgrades. Which is still proving to be more than enough of a challenge to keep under control, though the active LSD and torque split adjuster are certainly helping.

Decided to terrorize Tokyo, Sardegna, Le Mans, and Human Comedy's Deep Forest race with the 600PP Red Bull X2014 standard. After embarrassing the AI, I got an invitation to buy the One-77 and the Vulcan, which I coincidentally already have copies of.

Right now, I'm working on my Nismo Z Z-Tune Concept. I want to give it the same kind of livery the R34 R-Tune had when it first appeared in the Tokyo Auto Salon.

Did some last qualifying laps for Daily Race A before it rotates tomorrow, and it turns out it was a good thing I did - I ended up netting 500k credits from a four-star ticket! I also made sure to nab an R33 in Midnight Purple Pearl from the UCD, I must’ve been waiting for an R33 in that color forever.

This morning I loaded it, looked at the front screen for a moment, then closed it switched off my ps. Pretty much the same as the past few weeks. :(

Around 1080ish iirc. My Delta is insanely quicker after installing that turbocharger.

Ran two WTC700's with the A220. The weather is getting wackier. In both races, the rain started 3/4 of the way through the second lap, rained hard for 1-1/2 laps, stopped, and repeated that pattern until 1/2 way through the last lap.

Ran one WTC800 at Sardegna with the LM55. The wheel spit out a VW Golf, another dud I'll probably never use.

I'm up to 89M credits now. I'll be ready for the update on Thursday.

Take a few relaxing laps on Big Willow.

I used to hate this track, now it's one of my all-time favorites after Spa and Watkins Glen.

No idea what happened to it.

Well, I used to not like red wine either.
I must be getting old.

Ran a few early morning attempts at the Gr.1 Prototype Series at Suzuka. My first real plunge into single player events outside of road car races and Missions. I had a blast.

I'm hell-bent on using the 787B for this race, trying for an hour including 3 finished races several first-lap do-overs.

I see people complaining about weird AI and unrealistic happenings during the 10 laps, but I thought every race with its 40% chance of rain, provided plenty of organic & believable incidents. Maybe it's my total lack of grinding in this game that gave me that impression, but dodgy pit strategies, misjudged fuel and downright fubar on the track all seemed perfectly natural from CPU and Player vehicles alike!

For the record, my best finish was 4th. Probably could have won if I'd driven a little better. Best lap hovers around 1.51 on FM3/4 and Racing Softs. Honourable 12th place and last place (binned it on the last lap) in the others.

Continue with winning races I missed or wasn't p1 during caffe missions. Bought Plymouth XNR Ghia.

I bought an X2014 to try the Toyko glitch tune. I quckly made the 3M credits back. It's a little odd how it shakes, but it's a no stress winner lapping everything. Full CRB even if you get careless and bang the walls.

It was Ford GT day at Tokyo. I did the traditional 1-stop run on the Plus account, good for a 5-star workout roulette giving a second Subaru WRX Gr.3, and the last of the 2008 GT500 cars, the Nissan GT-R.

On the GTP account, I did a no-stop run (FM 4), good for a 3-star Wheel of Despair bearing yet another Toyota Tundra.
