Look at mine, lol. I'm not even close to the #1 Oh, and congrats with your 5K!

Denis killed it ! But I am not surprised by his time, as I drive like a potato and was using that car for the first time and made a lot of mistakes learning my breaking points and the way the car behave. Plus it changed along the race with the weather changing. I was releaved to see the track drying at some point, at least some grip back (but the IA seemed to benefit less of the improved grip, and they pitted like dumbs).

All of this aggravated my surprise to finish first of the friends list where there is many much more talented people than me. I was not expecting to gold it at first time, although you manage to see which IA is "dangerous" and if he pits while close in front while you don't need to pit anymore, or worse he pits while you are already 1st... you know you have gold and can drive without taking risks until the end of the race. And then the biggest cherry on top, I watch the friendlist to see if I am visible, starting from the bottom of the table, meh... I don't see my name, as always... WHAT !!??? I am first ? I can't believe it !!

Got up early to meet GT7 in secret. She offered me the M3 03 to do the Alfas menu book, of course I accepted her offer.

We had a genuine moment as I dressed her in my traditional matte black, widened the arches added an understated spoiler to her rear, before adorning her corners in sparkling anthracite alloys. I was smitten.

We travelled to Brands Hatch and Sardegna but it was at Alsace that we had our Moment. With nothing more than a single weight reduction and a boot full of rear downforce, the famous rear drive wayward handling I had been so wary of previously was tamed.

We were moving as one around the course, her tail keeping in check without any need for crude TCS and it’s ill-mannered abrupt application with accompanying blinking red light. All it took was careful balancing and tweaking of the throttle with the controller’s right stick between us and a nasty snap of oversteer into the barriers. The M3 03 needed a gentle sympathetic hand through the bends that I was happy to apply, before accepting a hefty shove of throttle and accelerating hard down the straight to the next corner. A few breaths and seconds of relative calm before the next challenge to our partnership. The synchronicity in which we took hairpins and banked sweepers was a joy to behold, gobbling up the ground on the leading cars was an illicit journey made all the more special by the moments spent in heaven that will forever be longed for and rarely repeated.

As the family stirred upstairs and we were safely back at the menu, I whistfully glanced at the M3 03 at the top of the screen, nodded appreciatively at her figures and PP and closed GT7. I smiled as the PS4 shut down. Don’t overdo it, don’t arouse suspicion. Go and cook a fry up.

I'm buying Dirt Tires for almost all eligible cars in my garage as I've been trying to see what car gets the closest 1st finish in the World Rally Challenge at Fisherman's Ranch. Some in PP 500+ range have been able to win with some legroom to spare.

I'm also doing this so when the next maintenance period comes and we'll go back to offline mode, I'm practically locked out from using a majority of my cars on tarmac courses cause they were using Dirt Tires the last time before the game updated. So I can make a point about how this needs to be addressed next patch. 🤡👌

I have bought the CLK-GTR. The Car of my dreams but what is missing now is the R92CP and the 787B and then its done. And ofc whatever is missing to get the three legendary cars trophy. Got the 917K and the Sauber C9 but lets see.

Added a bunch of folks from here as friends so I have some reasonable / non-alien leaderboard times to compare to

Did a load of oil changes and car washes for the Gr3/Gr4 cars I've been running all week, I honestly don't mind this 'looking after your cars' side of the game and it would be nice if there was a little more to it, perhaps some specific animations around the cars instead of the generic ones currently and some more to do in this area (I'm not talking about doing it ourselves Quantic Dream style though no thanks!).

Going to run some kart races this afternoon and practice Sardegna for the Nations though I'm pretty familiar with the track already so it shouldn't take too long.

Hopped on to do my usual WTC 700 grind for the daily workout and credits.

From the 4* roulette ticket I received today, I got my first ever engine swap (the Coyote Motor). Afterwards, I went shopping in the UCD and picked up the Testarossa and the Mach 1 Mustang. Finally, I did the Drag Race Mission against the Nismo GTR 17 in my Tomahawk (a bit overkill but was fun).

I found it alot of fun to drive, Deep Forest it's really easy to come up on corners fast and out brake AI, that last fast stretch and corner at Spa, you can hold your foot down thru-it,that's fun and Nurburgring was the most fun of the five, handles great at high speed .
It is pricey, most expensive car i've purchased so far,but i'm happy with it.:)
To the grind I go. I want to pit this against GR.1 in a 3H Endurance run on N24. My Sauber C9 can use a break :)
Windmills here I come :/

Raced in my first Online Lobby race with the RSR 911 on Monza and managed to finish 5th (of 9)!

My consistency was awful since I was pretty excited, but it was a lot of fun.

I noticed that after the 5th or 6th lap my grip (on the Racing Softs) started to loosen and my tires started screeching much more.
Is that normal? Is it from tire wear or the temperature or did my driving style change unconsciously?

Took the AMG CLK-LM '98 out for a World GT Series run ,used RM tires and got my best time yet at Nurburg, fantastic grip!

Edit:Car got me to CL 50 as well,
Did the same thing as soon as I got it last night. Ran the RH tires and had to pull the power back quite a bit to get under 800PP, but that thing handles like its on rails. Point, shoot, and she just goes there.

Power delivery was super smooth, too. Won all five races of the championship easy with no aids on (except ABS).

Drift in Gone with the Wind.
Little by little, I was raising points, but not close enough and then, magic go and I thought that is it...!
But then comes result:

What word to say, I was devastated and disappointed, with moral down, but I still continued.
And finally, after 20-30 more tries, it came:

What a relief!

I tried few missions from Sun Also Rises and couldn't win drag, and ofc, drift.
In drag, I used my Peugeot VGT - it has perfect launch and I do solid distance lead, but then Nissan must be using nitro and overtakes me just before end.
And I can't buy nitro for my VGT.
RB is useless here.

I see new challenges are ahead, but it's over for today.

Golded the F50 and Zonda R laps for the Super licence. More grind for very little reward. Practiced the Sardegna course for the Sport cup, then forgot to enter.

Spotted that the CLK-LM had appeared just before I go away for four days and I'm 4M credits away from being able to afford it. It'll most likely be gone by the time I get back, but I'll console myself with the fact that it's not as pretty as the CLK-GTR anyway and maybe get it next time it comes around...

2 laps of Nürburgring in time trial to train for circuit experience. First one nearly same time as last try : 7min04, second lap, did an error on the bridge before the small carrousel, ended up at 7min02, maybe I could have done less than 7min without the mistake... lot of work to get gold in CE...

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. There's nothing fun to do.
Multiplayer is boring as hell with empty lobbies.
Where's the matchmaking? I can't play 1 or 2 daily races forever. I want to be able to take my modified cars there, like at the beginning, but of course without the Peugeot VGT winning all at Deep Forest. That was a disgusting attempt by PD.

Took some big Bad Muscle Cars to the Desert and also enjoyed them around Daytona Road Circuit.
Big V8s with tons of torque on sport hard tires, yeah was some good entertainment.
After that it was time to pimp up some Cars. Nothing special just a bit here and there mainly some Rims and a few sportier upgrade parts.
Then it was time to test some Gr3 Cars I bought.
And later in the evening I even spent some time with Lobby Racing.
Overall plenty of stuff I did, much much more to come.
This Game will keep me busy for years, no doubt about it 😅

Spent the morning running races to save up for the Testarossa. After buying it, I spent time grinding for Gold on the remaining Gone With The Wind missions, and got the F1500-T. A good place to take a break for a few days.

Future plans are to finish the remaining missions for the Chaparral, the S license for the Red Bull car, and then just race and save credits for the upcoming content updates.

Grinded out my daily work-out which awarded a racing muffler for the Nissan GT-R '17, which I already have (car and racing muffler).

Completed the Music Rally events thinking all gold might award something, which it doesn't.

Over 300 km on Sardegna Windmills so far, hating Kaz a bit more every lap...

I would like to drive the Chaparral 2J, but don't get drifting at all in this game. I can barely manage to get bronze in the drift missions. Rest is all gold, but the drift crap is blocking me from getting the car.

Edit: Ah, it showed up in the legend car dealer, 3 hour grind. Better than breaking my controller over the drift physics. But that means even more grinding, when is the update with better payouts coming...

Finally golded IA! Surprisingly didn't take that long for the final exam, probably around 10-15 minutes. Gotta admit, my heart was about to explode when I was only .2 off...

Then I continued cleanup on previous World Circuit events. Just have Ferrari at Magiore and the Plus races.

Did some of the WTC700 and Clubman+ races in World Circuits. The Mazda Demio fully hopped up with weight down and stiffening is hilariously easy to throw around and just a blast to rip around Tokyo. I had to have a giggle at how fun that small car is.

I did the minimum miles to get todays ticket, might as well grab that 5k of credits 😂
Then spent ages making this livery

That turned out pretty good I think! :D

Is it shared? I want to add it to my collection. 👍

Did 1 manu race, finished 6th......used the op VW car, thought everyone else would that's my excuse, but they didn't. Did some race B's...won a few, i do drive clean, i make mistakes but none that i think would make someone slow down on the straight and side swipe me.....this happened twice. Did a few Race C's before boredom set in and called it a night.
