What did you do in GT7 today?

Did some races against Sophy road Atlanta and got a 6 star ticket for daily workout and got a Porsche 917 living legend blue but I already had the red one due to GT7 anniversary edition so I sold it for 436,000 credits which helped. Still saving up for cars I need from legendary dealership but that is whenever I’m not fussed, still have a few brand central cars to buy GT4 GT3 road cars when I can, also wish we could sell invitational tickets lol got a Aston Martin one again yesterday but I own all cars so it’s pointless and it’s annoying getting duplicate invitiational tickets

A few weeks ago, I raged quit a few times lol. I tanked my A/S rating... LOL.

This past week, I ran the BRZ Daily Race and got back up to a A/S. I won a lot this week and had some really good races. The damage setting really calmed the idiots down, I hope they do that more often.

Been stocking cars from 1981-1999. Been an exciting time for me. Cars from my pre-teen through teens and adulthood, when I could finally afford a new car. Thinking back to my life, during each model year of what was going on and what I was doing. Times when I noticed particular cars. If a family member owned one or similar. Times when I thought Whether to buy one or not. Good stuff.

Completed phase 1 of my garage rationalisation project. I reverted all cars to stock (visually) and made a note of all my duplicate cars. Phase 2 is to go through the duplicates and decide which to sell!

I drove the Lambo VGT briefly at Sardegna to see if it was viable for that race. It is fast enough but I think the fuel economy may not be good enough for me. Then I slapped on some RS tires and went to my favorite track LeMans with No chicanes. It took it for about 3 laps to see how long the battery would last and it was maybe about 80% after 3 laps. I was able to get a top 5 time on my leaderboard which is pretty good. While I was looking at the list I noticed that the Living Legend had a terrible time so I took that out and ran it for a couple of laps to improve the time on the leaderboard. I also found that I don't have to clear the whole leaderboard but I delete individual times off of there. They made a change a few updates ago where it shows what type of tires you used. So I have been going back and redoing some vehicles. Now I can't just delete the old times instead of them clogging up my leaderboard. Anyway got a 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🎫 and got a muffler for an AMG safety car :banghead: Oh well can't get good stuff all of the time

I tried the Daytona Tri-Oval Gr.3 Cup race last night. At first it was frustrating, but then it became a challenge - and it ended up being quite alot of fun.

I started out with the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Concept, but I could barely stand the high-pitched drone of the engine - not least as there was a second RX-Vision in the race too, and so when we were side-by-side, it sounded like a set of bagpipes being strangled to death (a capital offense here in Scotland :nervous: )

So I switched to the Corvette GT3, and immediately things started to look better. However, I was still getting nerfed and had a couple of spectacular crashes, before finally winning after figuring out a strategy for the final lap/corner.

On the GTP account, I took my second Genesis VGT ticket, and tried to improve at Monza with a rental. While I did knock nearly 2 seconds off, I'm still over a second away from silver. That effort netted me a 4-star Wheel of Despair for the lowest-possible 10,000 Cr.

As the Mercedes-Benz 190 E finally showed up at Hagerty's, I bought 3 (1 to drive, 2 for engine purposes so I can also keep 1 for a garage queen), widening one of those destined for an engine swap.

Even though I did my 50th Sport mode race on Saturday, the last trophy I need for platinum didn't pop. I rented a Lancia Stratos and went to Lake Louise to see if race 51 will do the trick. I ended up in a mixed C/D lobby, and started 10th/last, the only driver to not take a time. I kept it clean if slow (mostly laps over 1:10, with a fast one of 1:09, compared to the leaders sub-1:03), and finished 6th. That did the trick - I now have the platinum trophy on this account.

For cash, I took the 2008 Nissan GT-R GT500 around Sardegna. Ho-hum.

On the Plus account, to sort of break the tedium after taking my second Genesis VGT ticket, I did a no-stop run at Sardegna with the Lexus SC430 GT500. It is just possible on FM 6, though at 25:59, it took quite a bit longer than the usual 1-stop runs. The all-cash 4-star Wheel of Despair had a sense of humor - it gave the middle-showing, yet lowest-legal, 10,000 Cr. At least it wasn't either a 3-star or yet another invite.

So I logged in did some races and also got a second vision genesis the orange one? I’m not sure why, I got one from a viewer campaign and I sold the other one today for 556,000 credits around there so 🥳 💰

I didn't get my second Genesis... :grumpy:. I'd just sell one anyways, but I'll take the money!

Here's what I got into today.

MX5 Rally Car - Colorado

Made a sweet little grassroots rally Miata (MX5) and did some arcade races in Colorado. Still only 138hp, but lots of tail out fun!

Porsche 911 RSR - SpA

Then did a couple more races in the GR3 Cup. Started with Daytona oval in the Ford GT GR3 and it was an annoying race where the AIK would rub all over you like a cat in heat. Glad I won it the first time out because I didn't want to do it again.

Then went to SpA in the 911 RSR and had a great race... eventually. Probably re-set 7 or so times because the two of the AI kept spinning in turn one, and if I made it around them, the rest of them would panic brake in eau rouge which made it very hard to get around them cleanly with any kind of speed. Once I got a clean start the rest of the race was an enjoyable piece of cake. I like SpA.

I made this race suit in GTSport and thought this photo was fitting in Japan thank you again gt sport (photos in GT7)

Then not gt7 , but as i can't use my G25 on it went to race in Wreckfest on pc .

I finally golded all Missions except 'The Human Comedy', and got a Chaparral 2J and a F1500T-A for my trouble. Annoyingly, I just bought a F1500T-A, not realising it was the prize car for all gold in 'Gone With The Wind' missions, but it's a great car to have a dupe of, so I kept it for now. I also didn't remember buying the 2J ages ago, so that was also a dupe.

The last mission I needed to complete was the Bathurst Gr.3 race with the Jaguar - it's really not my favourite track, and I was finding the darkness made it especially difficult - but I ran the race a few times in recent weeks, and progressively improved. The right-hander after the long back straight was killing me, but I figured out that simply counting after going under the advertising board that spans the track was the best way to judge when to turn in. Turns out it's almost exactly 5 seconds... 😅

I sold the 2J for a tidy 1.2M Cr., and I also sold my dupe Genesis VGT for 550,000 Cr., so 1.75M Cr. was a nice little bonus, especially after an epically poor run of DM tickets.

Bad move. The fridge is actually an excellent car with the most current physics modeling. It may have been bad when the game first came out, but now it's a beast. It can hold its own against Gr.2 cars.
I forgot to say that the 2J prize car was also a dupe - I bought it ages ago but never used it, so I sold the prize car.

Okay, that makes sense. I know some people completely discount that car because it looks strange and if you look up YouTube videos about it, they were done pre v1.31 and it gets a bad rep. because of that. It's actually an awesome car. Very thirsty, but even on FM6 it is incredibly fast.

I just had a head-to-head race at the Nordschleife against another Chaparral 2J, and it was great fun.

The 2J is an amazing and unique car - it sounds fantastic, and the in-car view is superb.

I also love the fact that it only has a 3-speed gearbox - those three speeds being Very Fast, Extremely Fast and New Pants Required.

Got 500,000 cr. in the daily roulette today! 😲 I think that’s by far the most it ever spat out for the daily marathon roulette (for me).
Drove the lovely Honda NSX Gr.3 around Tokyo Expressway to finish the weekly challenge before it expired this afternoon (CET). I really like driving it, but it’s quite bad on eating up rear tyres. Any advice if that can be reduced/mitigated? I’m driving it pretty stock, except an additional mid-RPM turbo.
And then I spent lots of credits on legend and used cars to re-build my collection…

yesterday-today.. I Got scared all my GT Sport liveries would be gone. Checked and realized they didn't delete those too (I shared them over the years), so now am happy to have at least 200 versions of my GTS liveries in GT7... but will take some time for me to import them manually.. then those will get replaced with others I shared.. the 100-limit viewable is really annoying

Also found out a supra 88 and mazda 3 decided to turn yellow! thanks to the jimny update I guess.. never had to replace oil.. the mazda 3 only having 500 miles on it, but ok! But the supra is also requiring body change and rigidity, since it's no longer "green/excellent" well ok pd... buying an excellent used supra and putting 200 miles on it suddenly changes it to "not excellent rigidity"... yeah right

Drove the Porsche 919, Aston Martin Valkyrie, Nissan GT-R R34 GT500 and Toyota Supra MKIV GT500 around Watkins Glen. I then did the Civic time trial on Maggiore and engine swapped my mint green Porsche 911 964, which I proceeded to upgrade and send around Daytona Road Course.
