Hang on, is it possible that the announcements weren't made because Kaz wasn't there to make the announcements? đź’ˇ Someone, check his twitter! (I would, but I don't have twitter/don't know how to use it)

Can anyone who were at the Jalopnik confirm if there is indeed some new info coming monday, or if PD just straight up lied to us about TGS? If the latter is the case, I must admit that I'm beyond dissapointed. It's not that we haven't recieved quite a good chunk of info on GT6 thus far. It's just that you don't lie to your fanbase and expect to get away with it.

All I can confirm is what's been said earlier on in this very thread; people should temper their expectations.

We shouldn't expect anything groundbreaking from PD this time IMO. I mean, the PS4 is coming and almost all of the dev teams from Sony are focusing on it bigtime. I wouldn't be even surprised if some of the planned features for GT6 are moved to GT7/GTPS4. Improved physics, additional cars and tracks and some heavy focus on online aspects is what we're getting, I think.

How is such a thing even possible when Kaz specifically stated that car customization would be detailed at TGS!

I don't have any specific expectations for the degree of customization availible, but I was expecting to know something about it after TGS. You know, 'cause Kaz said we would. It's like waving a lollipop at a small child, and then telling them to lower their expectations.

So... uh, does that mean you don't want this bowl of nutritious rice instead? :P

I really can't get into it - partly because I'm not sure I'm supposed to, and partly because I doubt I know all that much even after JFF - but people making TGS out to be the final showing of any GT6 news before the game's on shelves should question that assumption.

As for car customization and the specific TGS mention; I know no more about that than you do. Though TGS isn't over...

TGS has been mentioned numerous times by PD, including at E3, where Kaz specifically said that we'd know more about customization features at TGS. Do some research please.

So what ? Maybe, Kaz changed his plan ?

We should stop hype for nothing. There is still almost two months before release.

It would be nice we don't discover all the game before release, keep surprise !
You want have everything immediately , it's really annoying. Be patient, dammit!

Wow. Glad I didn't bother staying up. What a waste.

It's very sad that people are giving excuses.

"So what?" That's your best defense? The man clearly stated more would be revealed about car customization at the very least. People have every right to be disappointed if nothing happens. But as Slipz said said, TGS technically isn't over, so there's still a little hope.

Wow I woke up this morning thinking there would be a new trailer and news on customization, but no? What happend????? :(

He answered a question. Show me where someone from PD said that TGS would have huge revelations. You talk about hype, who created that? Surely not PD. You admit they haven't spoken. Not everything is told the day of a game show. Even if they don't reveal anything, as long as theres information before launch, its good enough. Problem here is people set dates because of an event.

I never said they did, I was commenting on those here who kept telling people to stop moaning about various things, like weak coverage at earlier events, because TGS would be a big reveal.

I didn't have big expectations and PD never said they were be huge revelations, people here did though. My point was that they were wrong and we are right to be concerned about the lack of information.

Yes they don't have to tell us everything at the big games shows but where else can they do it? What other platform does PD have to run us through various features of the game they've told us nothing about?

...and therein lies the problem of only have one spokesman in the company 99% of the time. No Kaz, nothing new at games shows.

TGS is over. It's time to move on.

GT6 or not, TGS 13 was very disappointing, anyway....

I knew it on Wednesday and I knew it this morning.

I wasn't saying so simply as a rule of thumb, I was saying it especially because I knew nothing new was going to be unveiled.

This seems rather odd, I wasn't expecting nearly as much as everyone else but
this is a bit disappointing to be completely honest. I wonder if there is a reason they didn't show anything.
