no need to worry, i am sure tomorrow we will get news, after embargo lifts
It's amazing, did I not advise you all to curb expectations?
To be fair, I doubt anyone thought they had to curb their expectations all the way to zero. One short trailer would have been about the minimum, I would have thought. But clearly I would have been wrong.![]()

I had low expectations especially after reading messages posted by you and Slip. Just not rock bottom. I don't think expecting something, however minimal, was unreasonable or worthy of astonishment.
...embargo being lifted for tomorrow though, what's that about?
I think that nothing was released at TGS is due to the Japanese gaming market rather than PD not having anything to show.
(this is just my speculation based on discussions in multiple car sites and gaming forums)
Recently, Japanese gamers have been favoring, mobile/handheld/casual games over consoles or more "hardcore" games, in addition the interest in cars in japan has been on the decline. This makes GT series less appealing to the Japanese markets.
Another possible reason is Kaz has been attempting to push the GT series as a product that is invovled with the automotive and Motorsports industry(shown by attending events that are only about cars e.g JFF and Goodwood).
The last reason is that the big Japanese developers have been trying to appeal to the western markets more recently. E.g Capcoms recent games have a more western feel to them (Dragons dogma and deepdown) because they know that their high budget games are fighting a losing battle at home against the handheld/mobile market and are betting off appealing to the west.
first time in my life i will wait for reviews before i buy a GT title![]()
We're being toyed with.
What's comforting me is that we got a lot of news on GT5 throughout October 2010. TGS isn't the end of the line by any means. There's the Bathurst 1000 over the 10-13th of October, for a start...
At this rate we're going to need reviews just to know how the game is structured.
You're lucky to not know...So, what did they show about GT6.
I really can't get into it - partly because I'm not sure I'm supposed to, and partly because I doubt I know all that much even after JFF - but people making TGS out to be the final showing of any GT6 news before the game's on shelves should question that assumption.
As for car customization and the specific TGS mention; I know no more about that than you do. Though TGS isn't over...
I do keep reading something about an embargo being lifted for tomorrow though, what's that about?
There are some surprises in the works. I won't say anything, since I'm not sure what is allowed and what isn't, but you'll be excited!
ninja0804So, what did they show about GT6.

So.... I'm guessing that they showed us something bad. Can you just tell me what happened anyways?
The same demo from showfloor used in a competition between a pro super GT driver and 3 random kids
