Sorry but this is off topic...

What is the correct way to pronounce Nürburgring Nordschleife? If you know how a pronounciation key works, thats the easiest way. I even tried to find it in an encyclopedia and it didn't work...

i think it's like noor-BOOR-greeeng Norde-shlife, but im not sure

hey that one is good, too .. the only "fault" is the the last e , not as in life but life + fe
like festival

I would like to purchase either a 1994 Honda Prelude ( v-tec ) or if available, the lexus two door coupe.. ( foget the name ) a la gt2 !

That's a good question because I've never played GT4 odr even GT3.

So I'll move the stick 10 times to the right. The car which appears is going to be driven by me.

That's it.

What if you land on a Honda City, VW beetle, etc? Or a car you can't afford?
My freind stated his GT2 that way, and it worked out for him. 👍

you know, i originally was gonna go with the Trueno, but i overused that car in GT3, i think i'm gonna do something balsy, and maybe a little stupid.

i want this game to challenge me, so i'm gonna start off with a K Car, to be exact, the '91 Suzuki Cappuccino. 59HP here i come :P

Drift-Kid
be cool to start out in a Ford model T
Good luck with your parade lap.

and if you use one of those "first car ever" models, you got this
Drift Kid is waving to the crowds and is lapped for the 40th time in the 41th lap of the race.

Hahahaha, "41th".

I've seen various lists of available starting vehicles, but they have all been different.
So, I'm just gonna wait until the game comes out, and if I'm not impressed by the
selection available to be purchased with the somewhat small amount of initial funds,
then I'll probably transfer another 20 or 30 grand over just so I don't have to waste
my time in some crappy car that I won't enjoy driving.

I just started playing GT4 and started off with the EK Honda Civic Type R. Was good for a few races, although then moved onto the Subaru WRX STI, which seems to be going ok.

Just won a Fairlady LM race car, although where can I use the thing!! 900 + PS car, I'll have fun with it :)

Well, I know im skilled enough to handle RWD cars, but I admit ive always been a fan of apex-cutting, point-and-shoot FWD cars...as a result ill either go with an early 90's prelude or that '02 Pontiac Sunfire from the Domestic A licence.

I'd definitely have to go with the Mitsubishi FTO GR ('97). I'm assuming we start with a million credits in GT4? If so, that will let me get this fun little car and modify it quite a bit for better torque response and whatnot. Should make things interesting.

Reconsidering once again..

First choice would probably be a 1993 S14 Silvia Q's aero.

Second choice would be the 95 spec ITR.
(I know it costs more than what you start with, but if I was in the market for a sports tuning base and had 10 grand to blow, I'm sure I could save up [transfer] another one or two thousand to get something worth keeping.)

This is just pushing it though..

Plus it would cost alot to get down to weight.

But yeah, those are my (relatively) solid choices.

Seat Ibiza Cupra 04. Best First buy for me.

Wish there was a Seat Leon Cupra R so I would buy it and beat all these imprezas, evos and skylines

Just a reminder that if the car you want costs a bit more than you are given at the start of the game, then you can do a mission or two in the mission hall. Each one will give you 1,000 credits. Enough to buy that car you really want, but is just out of reach.

p.s. The 93 silvia aero was my first car, and even though I have over 200 cars, it is still one of my favorites to drive.

I'm thinking of starting with a Nissan Pao.. because it just looks daft and would be an interesting challenge. Not much power, but at ~800kg it should be just fine. The Midget would be a step too far.. for a start it doesnt look nearly as good as the Pao :odd:

If that doesnt work, I'll take out the car I got in GT2 - R32 Skyline. Works everytime. :)
