I didn't say you supported MT's, I asked a question. You have an issue with XBone and MS because of the way they conduct business, so my question is, do you have an issue with Sony/PD/Kaz for introducing MT's into the GT series and nerfing the game economy to encourage it?
I don't have an issue at all since I've never bought and never will buy mt's from any game.

So you're not a fan of Microsoft because of the way they do business, but you're ok with Sony/PD/Kaz nerfing the GT economy to make money through microtransactions because you're not buying MT's. Makes sense.

Sony/PD/Kaz nerfing the gt economy is nothing compare to what Microsoft pulled last gen and their initial plan for the xbone, DRM etc, etc,:odd:...and that's why they're getting slaughtered 2 to 1 by Sony in world sales, wallets are talking.....
But let's go back on topic shall we?..:D

Just leave them as they are like in GT6 because the microtransactions are not hurting anybody or anything. 👍

And who do you think started the whole microtransaction thing? Do you actually think it was Sony?...lol:gtpflag:

Sony certainly didn't invent the idea, but they (SOE specifically) were one of the pioneers as it pertains to the game industry.

You do realize that leading up to Xbone and PS4 reveal there was many rumors about DRM on PS4 in fact it was bigger on PS4 than Xbox One.

No not even an Xbox fan myself I'm just saying once MS revealed what they did Sony backed, but I know forgot where they still kept the door open for DRM it's just been awhile though.

Sorry man but I've never been a fan of the company behind the xbox, the way they do business is not my cup of tea:ill:, Companies always strive for money, but how they go about business differs drastically.:gtpflag:

You should take a look at the current prices for just about anything on PS Now. :yuck:

Just goes to show, don't depend on any company to do anything.

They need a subscription service to be bundled with PS+ honestly if they had done that or at least ask for extra $10 maybe $20 on top of $50 that might have justified it, but this renting online I'll just stick with keeping my PS3 you know.

It's an absolutely ridiculous proposition considering so many of those games can be had for a fraction of the price PS Now is asking for. And you could actually own them - no 60 or 90 day trials - and no risk of your game being sidelined by a weak internet connection.

Standards can stay, but I will definitely go to xbone if GT7 will still not have

-shuffle races
-easy and fast matchmaking (and intuitive multiplayer in general)
-tuning on the go (pause test race, change some settings, resume test race)
-more tuning parts and options (especially engine swap, tire pressure)
-marketplace for tunes
-advanced livery editor for all cars
-advanced body customization for all cars
-clutch mapped for the dualshock4

You have pretty much described Forza 5 there. You might as well take the jump now, GT7 could end up being released in 2016. Who knows, Why wait?

Same reason no one makes the jump to anything it's so d*** hard honestly I bought F1 2012, but haven't put in a lot of time with it, but know it's a well polished game, but it's tough when you've known something for so long.

Getting use to actual Damage both visual and mechanical since I've known now for some 13 years or longer that you can bounce off cars and get to the finish line that scares a lot of people.

Couple that with the fact I'm just starting to take certain assists off slowly, and it's just to real man.

I can understand that, I had a similar thing with GT I used to mainly play it just to win the cars and occasionally would try to race clean and nice. Over the years I developed some horrible bad habits such as late braking and well the thing is bought a Playseat and a DFGT wheel a few months ago now and that completely changed the way I see and play the game. I took all assists off, except for ABS which I am sort of learning now.

Now what a week ago I bought my Xbone with Forza 5 and yes it takes a bit of time to get used to, especially on the controller (I'm waiting for my TX to arrive :) ) but the thing is in Forza 5 you do have the option to turn damage on or off in career mode. You also have the same driving aids as in GT (TC, ABS, etc), so if it is too hard you can dial it down.

Yeah I'm only using MotionJoy for F1 right now, but learning all those bad habits are hard to unlearn I mean been playing NFS, Midnight Club, and then GT that's pretty much been it this is the first time in awhile since N64 that I've even given an F1 game a shot/chance, but back then didn't care about that stuff like today.

I am indifferent whether Standard cars are included in GT7 or not. So my answer is that I'll buy any game title or console brand that offers the game play I like.

""No old peripherals on our new console, Let those suckers buy that stuff all over again!"

GT7 or no, Microsoft lost me when they made that decision. I'm very happy with my Fanatec CSR and I'm so not going to buy a new wheel just because MS feels like changing stuff up again for whatever arbitrary reason. I'd be playing FM5 right now if it wasn't for that :grumpy:

So how is the pc build coming along?

Not a big fan of standards, but no need to jump ship for something so small in my opinion. I can always choose no to use the standards so...

OK this is simple really. I am just wondering how many people were going to wait for GT7 to be released to get a PS4 and now are considering going XBone since Standard cars are likely to be featured in GT7.

Yes I know I could have gone with a simple Yes/ No type answer but there are so many variables...:)

There will be have A variety of Racing Games for the PS4: Project Cars, F1 2015, and GT 7, if you want to count The Crew and Drive Club, those too, and I'm sure Codemasters may have a New Grid as well for PS4, I realized just today that is is unfair of me to expect for PDI: Gran Turismo Series to meet all my Auto Sports needs, So I concluded not to even expect much more than previous increments of development of the Gran Turismo series, but as long as it is a noticeable improvement of the series, I will buy GT 7, and supplement my other Auto Sports needs with other games.

People complaining about standart cars in GT7 are just... Silly! They should put themselfs in PD´s place, if only they knew how hard and how many time it would take to model the interior and premiurize over 1200 cars they probably wouldn´t complain...
Why does there have to be 1200 cars in GT7? PD could halve that, make them all prem's and it'd still be a huge amount

Standards in GT7 is ridiculous imho 👎

Nah it's fair. Especially considering I'm paying them to give me a product worth $60 bucks in my hard earned American money, and for my other people across the world that have to pay more than that it's fair to them I'm certain as well.

Problem is far as GT7 you say noticeable by the time you notice the improvements they still need to play catch up to other games that have gone far beyond them.

Hey it's either that or watch more people drift away from the franchise I'm one of those that watching and waiting if GT7 is just GT6 all over again forget it. Heck you'll just see me posting less and less on the forums. I've all, but abandoned GT6 part of the forums at this point.

Then makes things worse looking at the front page forgot this is GT6 first year birthday, and even that article didn't do anything for me except make me angry lol.

.......I'll buy Xbone NOT because GT7 has standard cars but it has games that intrigues me. I'll buy GT7 'cuz it's a GT. Many people, even the ones that complain about "standard cars" would still buy GT7 if every other issues besides the fugly cars get sorted.

Agree, if they are updated to semi-premium it will be great. And I think that PD will do that at least...

Less than 1/8th were converted to "super-Standard" (sic) quality in GT6, after three years between it and GT5. If people expect every single Standard to be brought up to that level of detail - which would still be below most of the competition on the current gen - they're going to be disappointed, unless PD has somehow found a way to massively increase their output while also bringing us new Premiums.
