I try to drive as clean as I can, even if people are punting me. Sorry for any confusion...

The people that have recieved the abuse can report him/her through the playstation network "Grief reporting" facility

No idea what the punishment would be but I imagine if the offense was serious enough (I would think racial abuse is pretty serious) it would result in a ban from the network

I reported a guy some time ago, he sent me porn pictures and sexist comments (I sent screenshots in the grief reporting) punishment? none. Sony said would send me an email, I'm still waiting.

Yesterday I managed only 2 times to “get connected” from 21:30 to 23:00 (Greece time)!!! This is very disappointing…:grumpy: Do you experience similar situations?

What has been happening to me lately is I will get a very fast matching, just to get a fail to connect. Then, after I hit 'ok' and it starts to re-match, it will suddenly jump right to 'joining'.

Of course a couple slow matches, and total fail to connects... sometimes. ~90%~ of races have happered as described above.

The problem is that my mental well being is at stake. My emotions have been going from anxiety to excited to mad to excited, then, all of a sudden I need to fully concentrate because I always end up racing at least one other very fast competitor, every 15 mintes!

I dont have any experience of the system but it sounds like yours was dissapointing 👎

At least three people have mentioned receiving abusive messages perhaps if they all complained it might make a difference, who knows?
 
Two races tonight and I am finished with this race. SO many punters, you'd be lucky to get a clean race in at all. It's ridiculous. I'm headed over to 600pp AWD if anyone wants to join me.

This is just way out of hand.

Yeah, that last race that we were both in was ridiculous. Siegmond40 was there, and so was every other punter :yuck:. I spun and got third :ouch:.
 
Someone spun me coming out of the chicane on the back stretch and I quit the race hoping it would end it for everyone. lol
 
love that event! so many times i had full grids, or like 9-10 drivers!

Those 10laps are a little too long for the majority of the players i believe, thats why the 5 lappers have more success!

PD! give us more 5 lap battles :)

This is true.

I can suggest a solution:idea:. It is not ideal but works perfectly if you don’t care about wining… I tried it yesterday and I have found “peace”.

So: don’t hurry to start, let them kill each other at the first turn, enjoy this. Then go to first turn, stop, have a smoke or drink a coffee (I would suggest you a beer :cheers: but drinking and driving…) and wait about 1’ 40’’, then push the gas pedal and show them ho is the best driver…
Believe me it’s so funny, they try to push you out of the track, they try it too hard, but nothing to fear. You are in a ghost mode. I think they even can’t make use of your slipstream. You get 4 laps of joy:dopey:!

Yes,that's fun indeed :)
But ghosts do create a stream,and that's a pitty in this case.
 
I was on for some races last night but there were too many punters, then in some races there was only a grid of 5 or 3. Got a bit boring and then not to mention Fail to connect and disconnection from server errors.
 
I had a lot of fun racing against GTSC_Bratis, Jpro01, I-plume, GTSC_Dprospect, GTP_Egghead and Shurrik-GTLMsquad. There are a lot more that I can't remember sorry. We did have a lot of problem with FTC aswell, but it did not stop the fun though. Managed to get my best lap time so far yesterday with the GTR 1'38.033:sly:. Don't know how you aliens managed to get into the 37s:crazy::scared:
 
GT5P Online is not good for my anger-management

I just got Dirt 2 yesterday, and due to the ability to keep a "room" and "kick" out anyone not behaving themselves, I think I'll be there until GT5 comes out. Anyone else out there playing Dirt2 and representing the GTP out there PM me it's great stuff.

Hey, finally got a chance to try it. For one thing, I've learned the GTR is very hard to control in this configuration! Also, I have never spent much time in this car and I had a hard time learning how to use it. I think I have decided that I don't like it very much :). Your tune was the best one I've tried for my style, I just changed the front tire to an R2 and shortened the gears a little. The R1/R1 combo works well too, I was getting nearly the same times. I put a 137.6 up on gtdb (http://gtdb.net/?laps/4/700) if you want to use the replay, and I think there are two or three tenths left in that set-up for me. I don't think I will have the patience to find them though :dopey:

WOW:tup: GO FIGURES:scared: :lol:I had R2/R1 combo when this event were on awhile back, but for some reason this time around I'm a bit faster with R1/R1. I've noticed that at Dunlop I'm a bit slow getting going again. So your advice on shorten up on the gearing just might help me get in the 37s. Did you shorten the final drive ratio?
 
I've got a question,allmost all drivers here are very expierrenced with GT5P,so I reckon this is the place to ask the question,
Is it true the GTR has some kind of bug at Fuji?
I know the Subaru has the same kind of the thing with the ride height at some tracks,but I've read a story with somekind of the same thing with the GTR,and it has to do something with the set-up.
I've done a lot of on-line racing,and there are some guys who accelerate this quick,that it almost seems that you are standing still...
If you see the power/weight ratio of the GTR,this simply can't be true...
 
Some Japanese guys are using s3 and they accelerate like having nitro:):)
I know that because i spoke with some of them with PMs.and the most of them are clocking 37s lows:yuck:
