grrrr, I hope the new signature works, specially if Bernie Eccelstone ever see's any comment of mine on any thread

I have good news and I have bad news:

The bad news:
Due to very little interest in keeping it, I've decided to close the website :(

The good news:
I'm about ready to announce the series that will compete for the time slot, should the WRC not happen :)

Thats too bad, I thought it was one of the best wesites i've seen in awhile. I liked the idea of having a comprehensive list of what racing is going on. May I propose modifying the site to contain the most realistic events out there with damage and weather, much like our 24 event? I just thought you could have a real nice niche with wma. If you do reconsider, I can update you blog with wurks.ca's last 4 years of real motorsport as well.

I just checked your forum, you guys run a tight ship, good work,

Hmm.. Sounds like that could be an idea worth looking into.

The problem with the original was, in order to make a good article I need much and good info or the hosts to make it themselves but none of those happened. So I thought it was ridiculous

@Dave 👍 like it, good idea. Never knew the WRC trophy looked like that  what did you search to find them? You might need to look for another soon :sly:

googled world rally championship trophy  same with the rest of them:lol:

It really depends what you're looking to do. But when I see an online racing site with real racing careers showcased, what pops up in my mind is 'hardcore online events'. I would say that you have to start with the hard events, which will also attract real racers. Once you have real racers, or ex-racers on board, you can link to their existing blog or get them to contribute to your website. My 2 cents.

Mel have you talked any more to any clubs for a 1v1 tournament?

what about a,
Australia/ New Zealand VS U.S.A/ Canada?

or a battle of the contries,

1representitive from each country comes, like the race of champions?

Or even better (if we can get drivers):

Oceania vs. Asia vs. North America vs. South America vs. East Europe vs. West Europe vs. Africa vs. Middle East.

I had thought it could be:

Group A:

Oceania
East Europe
Africa
North America

Group B:

Asia
West Europe
Middle East
South America

And then simply do like they do in Soccer, a region will play against all other regions in their group and when they've all completed 3 "games" the 2 best in each group will proceed (1st in A vs. 2nd in B and vice versa) and I guess the procedure from there is obvious :)

that would be cool,

also gents, I'm having a go at some video editing, the issue I have found so far is if I edit with the sound up, sometimes a high revving ar like a DTM or WRC car really shakes the windows, then I cross to an ITCC car and its almost dead quiet, then to another shot and you get blasted again, all depends on the car and its track position, accelerating, braking, drifting, etc, so I have come up with a solution,
dub a music track over the top, here's some idea for songs,

two lane black top, Rob Zombie, HERE
FUEL, Metallica, HERE
Jar of Hoons,Fitzy and wippa, HERE

what do you guys think???

Rob Zombie from

!!!!
(EA, Y U NO GIVE US NFS UNDERGROUND 3 AND PLEASE DON'T SCREW IT LIKE YOU SCREWED HOT PURSUIT AND IS SCREWING MOST WANTED!)
Edit: Speaking of Underground:

Thinking of starting an Underground league if anyone is interested?

Edit 2: Or, if you can mix it to fit, The Crystal Method: Born Too Slow is also great. Gawd, almost every soundtrack from NFSUG is great

yes that's the song

depends on your idea on how we would do it?

Still working on it but a little like how Wangan Masters and LotS work, but with tuners only and a Blacklist system that's still a W.I.P. and more than just Circuit racing (Circuit, Drag, Sprint, probably Drift too) :)

Edit: Damn, listening to Two-Lane Blacktop makes me wanna play Underground  long live nostalgia

Another Edit  : I feel the need.. The need for putting the Need For Speed Underground soundtrack into my GT5 :dunce:

thanks to sound tracks like that and most other NFS titles my whole music library is filled to the rim with metal and hard rock, I got more then 300 CD's that's right CD's!!! talk about nostalgia  anyway, 300 CD's of just metal, all up I'd probably have close to 1200 CD's and Records  but you chaps probably wouldn't know how to operate them properly, might try and force it, scratch it up

If you guys are talking about setting up a league similiar to old Underground/Most Wanted, sign me up! Especially if it uses things from LotS (No reason to explain here is it? :sly: )

I would be the highest-ranking sprint racer on the Toscana roads if I could be there. That's just an estimate though, I don't actually know about you guys :D.

Well, you're part of WRC so in a way you're part of W.M.A. too :)

The W.I.P. plan is to make it a mix between Underground, Most Wanted and Juiced, focusing mainly on Tuners on city/rural paved tracks with a ranking list/Blacklist for all the different event types. I can possibly expand it to Toscana and other tracks, but mainly City/rural paved. I'm gonna set up a thread in the weekend when I'm having some more photos to decorate it. You may help out if you want, only restriction is it should be a car you'd expect to be in a Underground game (so Ferrari is pretty much not possible :D )

So like Miata's and Civics and other ricers, coupled with some high-end supercars? Also, I registered for W.M.A before the Eiger rally.
