I have only suffered heavy damage once, that's because mel and I met at the final turn in DF with about a 70kph speed difference lol, hmmm, I never hung around the mx-5/ miata mid fields long enough to find out if they have damage on heavy, but I did see people calling for restarts all the time, if you have lost 17 seconds in 3 laps at tsukuba and then be involved in an incident your not deserving of a safety car, lol

Hi all!

New series coming! It's either going to be:

Rallycross

90's japanese touring cars (rx7 tc, Nissan r33 tc, nsx rm)

Premium touring cars (impreza tc, lancer tc, r34 tc and another one... Can't think right now!)

I'm voting for 90's touring cars. If I've understood what you told of the Rallycross it would be rally cars on racing circuits, which doesn't feel right to me (short tarmac and dirt tracks like Autumn Ring Mini and Eiger W/G Trial tracks would give a more true-to-real feeling :) )

Rally cross could be really fun! Track list:

Nurb gp/d with the cut being the last chicane... It even gives you some air!

Eiger dirt track- short.
No cut options... But it's dirt...

Autumn ring mini- no cut options really, but length is ideal.

Charmonix mini- maybe, not for sure... But it's snow!

Suzuka east- cut after the second turn and rejoin right as the flowy esses start.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmhhh, naahhhh, I'm not feeling how that's supposed to incorporate the "let's drive our car 90 degrees sideways" aspect of rallying.

Sports hard tires.

You have to use a bit of imagination, we should try it out.

WRC cars, 3 heats with 4 drivers. Top 2 in each move to A main, bottom 2 go to b main. A main is 2x points.

Heavy damage, visual damage.

Your rally car will look like the zombies attacked it!

Why don't we do a touring car series based on the WRC cars?

Let's try polar's idea. It would be a lot of fun. It would have rain racing in there too I assume.

Performance points? Or horsepower?

PP, performance points. HP may need to be adjusted a bit. I DO know the ford and citroen are equal. The Suzuki and Subaru may need a boost.

WRC cars at 308 PP. maybe some balancing is needed, but hopefully not much :)

Don't think they go that low...you can only drop about 100PP with the engine limiter...and some more with added weight.

Yeah but the rallyX stuff is being done at 500hp, a touring car series would be done at 300hp,

But rallyX at monza would be cool, using the barriers behind the first chicane and long cut temborello, that would be sweet, not sure how many other tracks you could use though,

If you watch the video, that's pretty much what we've got going on. Only difference is at Suzuka east and Nurb GP/D we cut the track, giving it the dirt aspect of rallying/rallycross.

Just from what Cnd and I did yesterday, this is crazy fun! With the no abs, you just go into a sharp corner and slam on the brakes, lock them up, get the handbrake, and just drift through the corner! It's really cool because we both weren't drifting, so our lines and everything were so different, yet kept us really close together!

Kart space.... Was awesome once we both figured out how to get around! XD

This won't be a series you can just show up to. The no abs, sports meds or hards; no tuning and the jumps and/or sharp turns, and you just have to know how to jump the car.

But I'm sure we'll be doing it again before or after continental, I'll be sure to let you guys know!

I can't view the video on mobile for some reason, I can only view your itcc reform video for some reason, lol, good times,

Yea, I had to compromise and upload it on "medium size" sooo that eliminates mobile video options...

Oh well, I'll put the cool photo up :)

So what's news?

Said short, some series have died, some series have grown bigger, and others are being born in these moments :)

I'm thinking of a supercar series with cars like RUF RGT, Pagani Zonda, Ford GT etc. if the majority would like that?

I have to say, the thought behind Polar's Rally-X series is good enough but I think the rally aspect is a little too undermined if it's cut only on 2 tracks and the rest is basically touring car :)

Well, the supercar series is only a W.I.P. and I already have the WRC and DTM taking most of my time (so if it happens it'll likely be a week day) but yes, they'll be close to equal :)

Would we make all of them equal? Or some like hyper car classes (zonda) and super car classes (ford gt)
