Yera and Joe should in as well. Carbonox doesn't want to do long races.

Or maybe Carb's too busy with GTA5.

I feel as if my enthusiasm for GT5 has been sapped. I gave up after 2 disastrous crashes in the opening 12 laps, and failing to even get into the 2:12s when I'm pretty sure the other GTs are in the 2:06s. :(

Fantastic race. Snow dominated PT whilst me and Panoz had a brilliant scrap for the first 20 laps near enough in the Fords. Joe's early DC meant we just could go 110%. I clipped the backstretch wall before braking for bus stop, and clipped the bus stop barrier dropping me 40 seconds. The extra stop put me outta sync and I always was going to be third. Can someone tell me how I pulled a 1:43.9 out one lap though? :scared:

GT looked mental, unlucky Ross on your DC. Frasier evaded drink and drive laws and put a good run in to 3rd after Adams late dramas with fuel and drivethroughs. Talking of fuel, that helped secure a max points haul for Yeratel in GT.

Congrats to the winners, and despite a small grid, some genuine quality racing. This final season is going to be pure gold. Roll on Monza.

Too many crashes for me especially in the first 2/3rds of the race as that put me out of position to gain from Adam's misfortunes.

Joe, DK was a bad night. But stick around.

@DK, just get a few laps in prior. Takes a little bit. Before start of tonight I had touched GT5 twice and maybe turned 6 laps in all in 1:46's on new tyres. By end of night on new tyres 44's where regular, with odd low 45's.

Great race, all in all! Managed to snatch pole with a 43.8, if I remember correctly. Didn't do anything wrong at the start either and through the others apparently having some close fights behind me, I managed to get almost a 2 second lead by the time I entered the oval part for the first time. I thought that was the perfect time to try and put some distance in early to have a bit of breathing space for when overtaking would begin. Got lucky then with where I hit the first GT's and was able to extend the lead a bit more. I was on a 3-stop race to begin with (the car getting too nervous after lap 20), so when I came in for my first stop I only took on about 30 litres to keep the car at optimum weight. The others might have taken on more, because my lead jumped from 25 to something like 40 seconds then.

The rest of the race was basically managing the lead, although it never gets boring driving these great cars and with the GT cars to avoid. I only touched Lout once and that was a very light, hardly noticeable contact at relatively low speed. I tried to stay out of trouble and be patient behind the GT's, even if it meant waiting for a couple of corners to get through. In the later stages I did make a couple of mistakes though. Went off once at busstop, just avoided the wall and found the tarmac again without spinning, and braked too late once at turn 1, but managed to stop the car before hitting the barrier. For a 2.5 hours race, I'm really happy with my performance. With no damage during the whole race, it couldn't have been a better debut for me in the PT class.

From what I saw, the GT race must have been epic for almost the whole length. Whenever I came by, there was a close fight between several cars, sometimes three wide. Tried to be extra cautious so as not to disturb them too much. ;) Really bad luck for Lout to disconnect. Congrats to Yera for the win!

Unfortunately, I'll have GTP WRS's GT3 season finale to attend next Sunday, so I'll have to take my dropped score for Monza.

This seasons Nurb race in on the Nordschleife, race distance 19 laps.

Don't worry about the contact snow, i think it was on the first right hander? That was my fault i think, I didn't know if you were going to overtake or not so i moved over in front of you D: congratulations for winning too! 👍

Just realised we are down to 2 PT's for Monza, just the Fords... surely 1 or 2 more will turn up by then...

Last night was far from boring at the front of GT. I've never seen cars so closely matched and swapping places so often as drafting played a big part in the result of last nights race.

Chris got a great start in the Lancia as the car has epic acceleration but fell off the track early on. That left 3 of us: Yeratel, Adam and myself all vying for 1st place.

Adam, Myself and Yeratel

This went on until lap 12 when Lout caught up and decided to join the party. and that made four of us battling for 1st. This by far is the most epic racing I have ever been involved in. Very little contact and each other giving room and respect.

Then there where four. (in race order) Adam, Lout, Yeratel and Myself

This carried on until about lap 17 when the field started to break up. Lout extended his lead, Yeratel and myself where close proximity and Adam had gone off somewhere. I then made a couple of mistakes and fell back from Yeratel who caught Lout and the two of them left me behind. I made my first stop on lap 25 for fuel and tyres and was passed by Adam with Fraiser snapping at my heels. It was clear that my race was now with Adam for 3rd as I left Fraiser and was catching Adam and Yeratel and Lout where way up the road and where one-stopping.

I passed Adam whilst he was making a pit stop which put me back up into 3rd place, Adam had made a couple more mistakes, so by the time I made my second stop on lap 50 I knew I was safe. Then the Connection Monster came out again and claimed its second victim in the way of Lout as Joe had been its first victim of the evening. If I kept it on the black stuff 2nd was mine. Yeratel then suffered damage but not far from the pits and as I was about half a lap back. Catching him was impossible. (If only he'd crashed on the infield :sly:).

So second place it was, equalling my best result at Daytona last season.

My commiserations to Joe and Lout for your DC's. And well done to Snow and Yeratel on their wins 👍

I think it was right after the International Horseshoe. It seemed like it was a collective moment of indecision. I was first going left and you right and then we both changed our decision at the same time. I think the little bump just gave you a bit of added acceleration.

By the way, very considerate driving from everyone yesterday! Just to reiterate one thing: GT drivers don't need to change their lines when a PT is approaching. I found it's actually irritating, because you look farther ahead in the quicker PT, so you already choose your line taking the GT-cars' normal lines into account. When that car suddenly moves out into the path you chose for avoiding it in the first place, it can cause more problems than it solves. It didn't happen a lot yesterday, just on occasion, but I thought I call it to everyone's attention one more time.

Agreed, I had that with Fox out of final banked turn, but that was more of a moment of uncertainty on my part. We are going 50mph quciker than you GT drivers, everything happens at a rate 50mph faster for us.

I never stopped after getting damage, as it didn't affect the handling that much (only slightly under heavy braking), so I kept on going...
