I've done over 2000 in the Cobra, probably about 2500 miles at this point. I test the gearing for a few laps while finding the limits, and then I'll do a run until I'm out of fuel. After that I have a quick go on a 100% wet track. I also used the car in all the preseason testing.

I got a room open for those who need the practice. :)

More like half-and-half, but that's considering I joined the series within an hour of the start of the Rolex 24.

EDIT: Transmission work helped shave a second of my best lap time, but there's more work that needs to be done for me, it seems...

Around 1200 miles here on the trusty Mk IV, 499.9 exactly came pre season.

Also my internet keeps dropping. Now 7mb/s tops.

Not sure how much my Corvette has put in but one of mt RC-Z's for TOCA has done nearly 1000 miles and that's got the most miles

I'm very surprised, despite all the tuning allowed and faster cars, GT-O remains as close as the old GT class.

I never answered my own question! I'm nearing 700 miles in the 250. By far not the most of all my cars though. Quite a few miles some of you have, as in a lot.

1137.6 miles here, just confirming earlier number.

Over 1500 between my two ToCA Ford chassis, and a 3rd that was my test car pre season racked up 500+ miles on it.

It seems that advantages gained by improving the setup are about equal for most cars or don't make them a lot faster, just improve drivability. So, if you have a good BoP with basic setups, you've got the cornerstone for a great series.

Actually, this season it seems to be particularly close. The cars all don't differ that much in their strengths, so it's not like you will have a massive disadvantage with any car on any track. 👍

I predict the Mercedes and the GT350 will be the strongest cars at Monza and Le Mans, and the Ferrari will be really strong at the Nurburgring and Matterhorn, and Brands and Spa will be even. But who knows, GT-O is wide open.

Wait, there's nowhere where the BMW is best? :(

The BMW is fine. There just haven't been many running so far. From my testing it's up to par with the field. Should be good on acceleration and cornering. Top speed is about the level of the Shelby, Ferrari and Mercedes.

Can anyone give me an evaluation of the E-Type?

Anyone for testing tonight?
I am as well as the race for Sunday since the work schedule will allow me to take part that day. :)

And based on the rest of the schedule, where do you think the Shelby's will contend for the win?

Long wheelbase and therefore stable when changing direction quickly. Might be a little sluggish in tight turns, but that can maybe be tuned out. Fast in a straight line, but you have to get its power at or past the red line. Don't be afraid to rev it very high - otherwise you won't harvest its speed. A good transmission setup is therefore essential, so you can keep it in the high revs at all time.
