The BMW can barely take Curva Grande at 245km/h/152mph. Goddammit.

Hopefully it stays dry the whole way and Joe runs circles around everyone or I'll be really disappointed. :(

This BMW is a nightmare. I don't think there's anything that can save it.

EDIT: @Yeratel84 I must be far too used to taking Curva Grande flat out.

I am so glad I chose the E-Type! I'm not complaining or anything but I could have had a better finish if it weren't for the
lag early in the race which caused Lout to slam me into the sand. I had manageable damage, but I could have done
better, as I was just out for a relaxing drive when Snow passed me. If only I wasn't nervous and had my Skill Limiter set at 74.1%! Otherwise, a good step for me, to well, step it up and set my Skill Limiter at 100%! Also, sorry Yera about
what happened at Ascari and sorry to everyone in GT-P whom I got excited near while they were trying to pass me.
Once again, good racing everyone! 👍

That was quite a horrible experience. Was very evenly matched with Yeratel, but after a couple of laps with changing lead, I go into Curva Grande as always in practice and the car reacts to my lifting like it's kicked in the back and turns violently to the inside. That was stop #1 for repairs.

It turns out though, that either the conditions in the race are completely different than in practice and offer nowhere near the amount of grip as even when it started raining in qualifying, or the physics of my car simply changed (I wouldn't be surprised if something like that happened in GT6). I can suddenly not even break into the 51's anymore and the car is trying to kill me every time I go through Curva Grande, allowing only just 230km/h instead of 240 as usual, and that's when I manage to hold it on track. It's almost like driving on ice. Since I don't think I forgot how to drive from one lap to the next, I can only suspect something fishy happened in the game.

Then Daiba loses it in Parabolica directly in front of me, his car fishtailing out of the corner and, of course, catching me trying to squeeze by. Stop #2 for repairs.

A little later Furi simply runs into me in the middle of Curva Grande like I wasn't there, and pushes me off into the barrier. Stop #3. I think I was dead last at that point, except for Randy. I was more than a lap down on Camikaze then, and he was 4th or 5th at that point.

The only thing left to do was trying to drive steady and make up some positions which is what happened. Ended up 5th, but I can only hope that will be a dropped score.

You don't need to apologize for a spin... fortunately I was able to squeeze between you and the sand trap on the exit

It's well known that any set of tyres you fit after your first pit stop don't offer the same amount of grip as the one you started the race with... that's why I only made my sole pit stop on lap 30 of 39, and even then I was only between 0.7-1 second faster than I was with older tyres...
