I would say that this sounds like an E3 release date.

He is definitely at E3 as he confirmed this in an interview about Le Mans, surely not even Sony could describe TGS as "soon"??

In all due respect, surely you must be new in the world of SONY/PD releases... :sly:

To say I am looking forward to E3 would be a huge understatement, I have convinced myself that it's where GT5 will get it's blowout. Now if it does not happen..................I shall keep on waiting. :indiff:

GT5 taking so long made me crazy i think... i watched the entire interview and i know nothing of japanese. I guess i was hoping on seeing pictures and/or facial expressions, but all i saw was a MAC and a bunch of "grunturrismo" in it.

I'm dying to know what he said. I believe since it's a free-flowing interview (he's speaking in his native language) that it has a lot more interesting content.

The JVN one was like this and it was pretty good.

Somebody please translate! That might be all we get until E3.

If any japanse GTPer can do this... he would get a huge:tup: from the community.

If it does not happen, and you are still interested in GT5, you will have no choice but to wait anyway...

I was going through prologue license events again the other day and i got really excited about NASCAR while doing the daytona events. 200+mph in a Ford GT is one thing, doing it in a pack of 16 cars when the slightest mistake will mean "cars will be smashed to smithereens" is quite another. NASCAR series will be so tense, I can already tell it'll be made of win!

It would be made of win if people were decent. In 99% of racers the winner will be the guy who has sent the most cars flying into a wall.

If I believe in one thing; its the ability of people online to be dicks.

I think Famine speaks Japanese. I am sure he would love to translate the entire video.:sly:

Reads? Yes. Speaks? Mmmhhhmmhhmmm... Listens? Hell no.

Japanese is spoken too quickly for me - even if I was still in practice, which I'm not. It'd take me until "soon" to listen to all that and translate it. Give me a transcript, even in Kana, and I can do something with it. Otherwise I'm just as lost as the rest of you.

Yeah your right, goes for most games you give a controller to a ten year old kid and more often than not they are bombing round the track in the opposite direction.

The only game I really used to play that involved ovals and damage was the Indy500 game on the Commodore Amiga. I loved it, some of the pile ups were quite spectacular.

Unlike famine i can actually speak a little and hear a little but i cannot read at all. Katakana, kanji, and hiragana are just too hard for me. Like Famine said it will take me until "SOON" to translate all that

For me being fluent Tagalog (Filipino), I can definitely speak the words in Japanese, it's not that hard, but reading it? Is a different story.

While this is the unfortunate statistic I myself have seen, there is also the ability to kick those morons out and race only the people you know. That way you can actually have a race and not a bumper car special.
