Perkel, I would remove or edit that picture due to language if I were you. AUP applies to language in images too.

No info?

Seriously....I can't believe we have no info on this. :grumpy:

Well, unless someone who properly understands Japanese and is willing to act as translator stands up and supplies us with what is being said I guess we're still have to wait, better perhaps than it being translated poorly with all too familar side-effects of misunderstanding or words out of context.:)

And we have a translated part of it on our main News page...

With all due respect but that's only one sentence, albeit a significant one, taken from an interview which lasted quite long.
Or am I missing something?:)

Well to be fair, he did say a "Translated part of it". He didn't exactly say the whole interview was translated.

Ok, english is not my native language, but to me a part of a interview means more then one sentence.. My bad

One letter would be a part - in the same way the one bolt talked about is a part of a car.

Sorry that we haven't conjured up anyone who is a native Japanese speaker and who has had time to listen to and transcribe the video for us and that one measly sentence confirming massive scale damage isn't good enough for you.

Don't mind it being only one sentence for now as I've mentioned in my previous post I'd rather see it properly translated.
Mind you, I misread the English translation at first, thinking NASCAR cars would be reduced to the size of one single bolt....

It was just a misunderstanding, I thought maybe more of the interview was translated.
I am happy for all new info on gt5, but that sentence didnt confirm anything I didnt know.

I thought a few native japanese speakers were on gtplanet. I remember them clarifying the 20 locations 70 layouts thing.
Please find them :scared:.

That was me - I translated the original text before it was pulled (rather than translating the French translation of the original, which is where the confusion occurred). Text is easy.

I can't listen to and translate Japanese easily. I've not spoken Japanese in 10 years and my spoken vocabulary has diminished significantly and, even if it hadn't, it's spoken far too fast for me.

But I know someone who can.

That would be a great help, since we also still don't know whether those quotes from the Japanese blog are sincere.

I remember a couple of unknown members who said they were japanese (or studied japanese) and gave long explanation on every single word of the features list, or at least the tracks part.
I can't remember if it was back in august or october.

Maybe he or she knows?;) Sorry but I haven't got the faintest idea, maybe just start from the beginning if that's possible.
Maybe Famine or someone with knowledge of the Japanese language can help you to give an idea where to start, anyway succes and hope it will clarify some more info.:)

My other friend who knows japanese talking with me to translate it..He translate abit and he continues

-well so far their discussing how they are translating the physics of the real cars to the game this time
-well to be more precise their talking about traction & body rolltheir ---now saying how the ps3 is the only console that can run the physics and even a good PC would struggle
-now about efficent streamning of the physics data using the consoles cels and also how it would work over the internet
-going into more detail their explaining that with the improving broadband they are able to allow more & more players to race each other.
-They say that their have been problems with wall bouncing & spinning other drivers out in prologue and this will be addressed for sure by the time of release
