Has to be the Mazda 787B Stealth! I can't really handle the GT-One, yet?!?

Is the Nürburgring race on the Dreamcar Championship the same as it is on the 24 hours? Can I win the 24 hours if I run laptimes around 8:00?

Ya know what car I really want is the new 2011 Aston Martin AMR-One, make it premium, sell it in the new car dealership. I'm very much looking forward to seeing another make condensing as Aston Martin now will also produce it's own chassis as to before when it was only the engine. I no doubt will be cheering for them because, frankly, I'm absolutly fed up with the whole fan war over Audi and Peugeot and how you are either on one side or the other and everybody from one side slams the other and they're always fighting. It's freakin' ridiculous and I'm sick of it so ya know what? Go Aston Martin!!!!!!

If you are a fan of Aston Martin, hate both Audi and Peugeot, or just want more Le Mans race cars in Gran Turismo 5 then follow the link bellow to the feedback part of this website and vote to get the Aston Martin AMR-One race car that Aston Martin will both supply the engine and chassis for, unlike past years where they only supplied the engine and used a Lola chassis. It will make it's debut at this years 24 Hours of Le Mans and will be entered in the LMP1 class.

They do need the r15, but they r18 is probably a more likely add. They should have got the Aston Martin LMP1 car, the RS Spyder, and acouple of the Oreca and Lola cars

Na, they have the 2006 Audi R10 - I'm talking about the 2010 Audi R15

You'll probably want to cut 45 seconds off that time... If i remember correctly, the Jaguar XJ-9 (Which has no right being in that race), easily does sub 8 minutes times. (Hop into your Minolta you should have for the 'Like the Wind' race & you'll take it to town

The Porsche RS Spyder from a few years back that was terrorizing the LMP2 (or its equivalent for the time) class? They never really had a chance against the diesels, but the Aston from 2010 just looked so good in the Gulf livery. I'm not sure the AMR-One looks as nice, but I'd love to see either in the game.

Odd how some of the DOME LMP1 cars aren't here.

Nor are the Acura LMPs.

Acura's Le Mans efforts / Honda Performance Division is based in California, so PD's access to them might be limited. Not sure if it was a homebrew chassis or a Lola, but they won LMP2 in 2010's 24, right? I'd love to see the car in the game.

I just can't get enough of these LMP's.

The new Aston Martin AMR-One is open cockpit. Idk if I posted a link yet but here is a link to check the car out on Aston Martins web site.

The Jaguar XJ-9 on 24 hours ring? You talk about dreamcar championship? I already won dreamcar easy with 8:00 laptimes on the ring...

Yeah, I think I like the one from last year a little bit more at least in terms of appearance. Safety aside, the fins down the spine this year are a bit of an eyesore.

I'm so pumped up for the 12 Hours of Sebring this weekend! Too bad the only LMP car that's going to be in the race that's in GT5 is the 908 - I guess Peugeot's going to break out the 90x at a later event. I'm actually quite surprised that more people aren't fans of the other Peugeot to win Le Mans in the game. The 905 looks great and seems to handle pretty predictably.

I do totally agree that the fin is an eyesore. It doesn't even do too much for the safety of the cars as a situation where it may make some kind of difference isn't very common in the Le Mans form of racing, unlike American oval races. The F1 cars first used it and now even they are shying away from it as almost all the teams reduced the size or eliminated that fin. However, if they are going to add one go the game, I thought it should be the Aston Martin AMR-One because there aren't any Aston Martin Le Mans cars yet and of the 4 differet ones with cockpit cameras (the 2 908s, the R10 tdi, and the 787b) there is only one with the open cockpit onboard. Personally I enjoy the open cockpit onboard to the closed cockpit onboard because I love how much more open it is and I really feel like it is more emersive when playing the game.

There still technically won't be any GT5 cars at Sebring this weekend because those 908 cars you mentioned I'm 95% sure have those new fins in the back of them.

I just tried the XJR-9 and I must say it's the worst one yet. It's a bit behind the Toyota GT One, Minolta, Audi R8 Race Car '01, Nissan R92CP, Mazda 787B and the Sauber Mercedes C9. It seems to corner the slowest.

There's just so many LMP1/Group C cars it's kind of hard to choose. I do love the sound the 787b makes but I do miss the 6th gear, and as much as I enjoy the 908s I don't really like the fact that they're diesel... The GT-One is great, too (what happened to the GT-One Road car?!), but my favourite is probably the R89C, mainly because I don't have the R92CP yet.

Oh and the 88C-V is too obvious a choice!

I personally love the R8 because I remember seeing the completely destroy a GTP race at Road America when I was 8 one two finish by a few laps, but I'm really starting to like the 908, the look of it just blows my mind for some reason

I hope when it gets around time for the 24 hours of Le Mans they suprose us for te event and give us the new Audi R18, the new Aston Martin AMR-One LM P1, let us buy a body kit for the Peugeots fin, and maybe even the new Pescarolo that just won 6 hours of Le Castellet. I really want Sebring and Road Atlanta too, so we can get 12 hour enduros in the game!

CarbonFlywheel
As said many times before, FAP FAP FAP.

Now, are you talking about the peugeot, or the sound of the mazda?

A clear favourite, without a doubt, the glorious Mazda 787B...
