Can you see the link, does it work? Let me know. It works here, but you never know...

Yea yea, the link works, but we dont use a "standard website" for sharing WSGTC replays. We use a private online storage ;)

Can you link me to it? I'll start uploading there from now on then 👍

I have nothing against him and i didn't punt anyone in formation at all. Check your replay on the feature race, i was hit from behind from Ely while letting everyone line up as i was 8th.

Pardon me, the last piece was Harrisson punting Ely in Feature Formation...

Hey no big deal... Let's just practice more together so that we all get to know each other's driving. Corkscrew... Need new thread... :)

PM sent, I'm uploading. All is under control, no worry ;)

I cant upload the file on your site Litchi. Gives me error

Edit: Tried it one more time and it worked :D

Gives me an error too. This is because you tried to upload at the same time than me (i think). There are usually no issues with Apple systems...

EDIT: You uploaded it successfully ;)

I just uploaded it now! 👍 Thanks Litchi, cool website.

So you uploaded both the sprint race and feature?

Have to wonder, is it really necessary to be going that fast on the formation lap? At least if you do that on the back straight everybody should be spread out and ready to brake at any time.

I'd hate to put it so bluntly, but that's exactly why light damage was suggested, guys.

I'm sorry for those affected by damage in the GT500 NTSC race, but I do hope at least you guys learn from this and the same doesn't happen in Laguna Seca! 👍

I actually like racing with heavy damage (This championship being my first with it)

But something needs to be done if someone receives damage on lap 1. Either do another formation lap whilst the guy with damage pits or do a restart. Thing is unless there is mad lag you shouldn't be in a position to give someone damage in the first place.

We've done lots of restarts, and I think not restarting once or twice teaches everyone much better then 50 restarts.
I'm fully aware how much it sucks getting damage on formation laps, or turn 1 punts, big crashes, etc. Thing is, it's all 100% preventable with adequate spacing and timing.

Really bad laggers should be thrown out, like they are in all other online rooms. They WILL cause damage and ruin someone's race, if not on formation lap then later. It is just not acceptable.

I am all for restarting if a lag accident happens on formation lap (and then kicking the lagger). But no restarting for other reasons.

Kicking them would be harsh. Could just ask them to leave. My dad got damaged by Ely. He was all over the place. He definitely needs to get his connection sorted out.

What if restarting, then it happens again. What about another pace lap, the damaged pit and start in the back in order. No changing tires, must keep what you started on. Better than no restart and being back 30-40 sec on lap 3. But if I was the leader and it happened, might not be happy starting in the back with the guy that caused it.

Thing is if restarting is allowed the leaders and room host need to acknowledge it. After being told through chat that so many were affected, it was ignored. Didn't mind cause I thought that's the way it is

Thing is that it shouldn't ever happen again. People need to slow down their formations that's all.

Only rule that needs to be in place is that if more than 80% of the field gets damaged, it should be "red flagged" not by jumping out of the room, but by simply having every one pit and start a second roller lap, this would mean the race would be one lap shorter is all.

There definitely needs to be a red flag rule in place that hosts/race stewards can point to and go by.
