Welcome to our spot race to test the specs for Season 4!
The race is based off of the real life Rolex race, the brickyard Grand Prix, that happened at Indy this past year (which I attended!). I'm not going to add much fluffy stuff, so lets get into the details!
The race will be on Saturday, February 2nd. Time is TBD, but will be about 6 pm eastern time.
All cars will use racing medium tires. The only driving aid allowed is abs. Everything else will be turned off. The race will be 70 laps, plus 1 formation lap to let the classes get a small gap for the start.
We will be using cautions. Our caution procedure is quite simple. The two people involved in the crash have to type "caution". If only one person types it, keep racing! Once a caution comes out, we all slow down, and get bunched up. Lapped drivers will get one lap back at this time. Both classes will pit on the same lap.
Don't worry if that's a bit confusing, we'll talk ya through it in the room
