I'm getting roughly the same at the mo. 1:25's shouldn't be too hard... Hopefully.

Where can I find Nissan R390 Road car...?

UCD or a level 12 ticket I believe. I'm sure you can find one before the race. Go to this website, http://gt5cars.net/used_car_searches/new . It will let you know how many days left in the UCD before the next one appears. Just follow the instructions on the web page. If you are having trouble, just ask me for help. There is a thread on here about cycling the Used Car Dealership, UCD. Here is the link to that. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=168084

I checked out my UCD last night and saw the Nissan R390........Race Car. :yuck: I'm getting closer though! Put me down for DP class, I'll get the car one way or another by Feb. 2.

Fair warning, I only live about 1 hour from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway so I may or may not sneak out the night before the race and lay some hidden spike strips around the track. :dopey:

Give me a black Camaro. I need something to do before JSTC starts. :)
6pm EST or later Friday to Saturday would be fantastic.

You won't find them, I know all the secret spots!!

Where were you located for the real-life race? I moseyed all around the track during the day. You know the big, slippery yellow section in GT5, just outside the curbing as you enter the Hullman Straight? In real life there is no slippery yellow section there and all the drivers were taking full advantage, running waaaaaay wide in that turn. I chuckled to myself "If you did that in GT5 you'd be sliding all over the place!".

What modifications can we put on the car to get to the specified hp/weight?
No part restrictions mean I can go the whole 9 yards and throw stage 3 engine and supercharger upgrades at it? :P
Are carbon bonnets allowed?

Everything is allowed! Just make it meet the regs :)

I started the race in a box, then watched at the turn before the back straight. Then I watched the majority of the race at the end of the back straight. I got to see all the cars fly off in the wet!

Same here pretty much. Spent the majority of both races in the front stretch grand-stands right across from pit exit, I could see the first 7 turns. Also spent some time along different parts of the back stretch, even got a little wet from the spray coming off the cars. :dopey: I bet we were standing within a few yards of each other at times. It was one of the most entertaining days I've had at The Speedway, I loved that it was all General Admission and we could sit wherever we wanted.

This is on Indy Road Course right? Just to confirm. Im new to these cars also so I think I'll just follow and learn through the race.

Yea, Indy road.

Race should be no longer than 2 hours, and room should be started, and ended within 2 and a half hours.

I just realized, what is the reasoning behind using a Camaro instead of a Vette for this series?
Seeing the R8, 458 and Aston I naturally thought of Corvette.

Weird question I know, but I am a massive Vette fan.

The camaro is used in the real life grand am series. As far as i know there arent any vettes.

What Ross said. There is a vette or two, but the Camaro is "more grand am" than the corvette, as it seems to be quicker IRL.

REFRESH DEALERSHIP
(I did a little video to explain it)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yByzyCRRoaU&feature=youtu.be

Just enter a license test, then instead of starting the test click "Next license", then that will bring up the next license, and cycle 1 game day. After 5 game days the Used car dealer completely refreshes. I select B-1 then cycle through B-5, then exit out and check the cars. This is useful if you are looking for one specific car.

Thanks to CND por the information!!
