polarbear345For this race, the Audi may be quick. In the season, it will even out.
Audi will probably be slightly off pace at Indy due to the long full throttle parts. Its money is earned in the tight courses.

grazbro👍 I'm getting mid 1:34.xxx's with the Audi. Indy Road Course is not my favorite track, so someone solid should do a bit better with it.
I'll have to practice when I get back from the real Rolex 24.
BrandonW77Jealous. My dad and I had planned on going, his sister and her husband live less than an hour from there and we were gonna stay with them. Our work schedules didn't permit it though.
Here are a few of my pics from the actual Brickyard GP this past summer, hope you don't mind me sharing.
Did a short A spec race with the Camaro, it understeers like its got a moose tied on its nose.
Which is ironic as its weight is rear bias.
Edit: Do you guys use rigidity improvement on your cars?
R0ssingt0nFeeling rather jealous looking at those pics! Definitely need to make a trip over to america at some point! Although I'll have to settle for Le Mans for nowoh and does anyone know if there's a way I'll be able to watch the Daytona 24 hours online live this weekend?
About the same as what I was getting. Mind you, I think I had 10 kg on them with the same bhp as spec. Audi was 1:32.9 when I tested it.I tested these 3 cars and for the Vantage I could only get the weight down to 1,362kg.
I did roughtly 10-12 laps in each car with a nearly identical aero (max), settings, drivetrain (60/60/15), transmission (183 mph top speed) setup as each car behaved similarly.
458 Italia - 1:33.351
V12 Vantage - 1:33.406
Camaro SS - 1:33.281
All 3 cars were hovering within a .5 (or less) lap by lap. I'd say don't change a thing, they are about as equal as you can ask for (my 2 cents).

R0ssingt0nAwesome, i'm guessing i'll have to pay though...
cnd01I'm pretty sure you don't have to. I'm not for sure though.

I'll check it out, thanks for telling me. Even if I do have to pay it should'nt be to much. I hope.
The Audi actually didn't do too bad, I had a pretty nice lap and lost .15 on that sharp right that leads to the long front straight. But honestly, I left about .1 or .2 when testing the other cars too.
4.2 Tronic - 1:33.642
I had to set the transmission to a top speed of 171 instead of 183 like the other cars as it didn't have the power to hit the limit by turn 1 (as expected). It would need to be increased something like 177 for the race. I also gave it a nearly identical tuning setup like the other cars. HTH.
Oh, I can give my tunes if anyone wants to try them out. You may want to decrease the rear RH a little. I also dialed my CSR E wheel's turning radius to 850 (from 900) degrees to help with turn in.

Are you using club sport pedals!? You've got a killer wheel!

Our suspension tuning pattern seems similar except Im too noob to touch the ride height and toe.For all the cars I tested, they are pretty close to this. I think on 1 of the cars I balanced the ext.+comp. to be the same front and rear. There may be a little too much oversteer if you were to put R3 tires on them for some other races, but for R2 tires it seems to work well:
Suspension:
-20/ -17
9.0/11.0 (ish)
5/6
2/3
4/5
Toe/Camber:
1.4/1.6
-.07/+.10
LSD:
60/60/15 (Audi - 60/60/15, 60/60/15)- I always find the car is easier to drive faster with the highest Torque and Accel. Sensitivity the car allows while exiting turns. I tried a couple cars at 15/15/15 but couldn't keep up with the ghost as easily. Some cars I can only put torque up to like 45, but just about every car I have A.S. @ 60 for my tunes.
Brakes:
6/5
Transmission:
183mph top speed

I hope you find a good job soon buddy! Racing games are so much more fun with a wheel, though they do have a long learning curve (for me at least).

For the differential Im scared to go too high on initial as I do not run abs. I did loosen it up to 14 from 8 and it seemed to erase understeer.
That was very brief test I did though, so cant confirm accuracy.
Polar, can I sign up for the Camero?
