You make those of us with a DFGT want to cry. A time and date that I could probably race on a track that I love and with an awesome car…

…sigh…

I'll be there unless my Alfa has had chassis reinforcement done to it. I suppose I do have time to earn the money for a new one...

G27 time! ;)

Let me know if you need help getting another.

Sign me up. Dragonwhisky/dragonwhisky/G27/blue-stock or blue or black. Don't recall which color I left the wheels but I think they are stock.

Yeah. Even if I had the money for that I really doubt my wife would appreciate getting another wheel after having the first one or less than a year…

Sell it here or on Craigslist!

Yeah. Even if I had the money for that I really doubt my wife would appreciate getting another wheel after having the first one or less than a year…

Mine wasn't really down for it either but I got a pretty good deal on wheel through amazon, although the vendor raped me just a little on shipping. So much better than dfgt.

Alternatively, if you got one of these, I have a G25 pedal set I'll sell ya for cheap.

Sign me up. Still have the car, I believe.
dsgerbc / dsgerbc / CSR-E+TH8 / Verde Gemma Metallizzato - Silver

Sooo, how do you stall the car? Haven't used my shifter in GT5 in a while.

Just push the clutch in without shifting the gears, car will stall.

I'll probably give it a go, it's almost too late for me but it would be nice to break out the old girl again.

BrandonW77 / BrandonW77 / G27 / TBD

Simply stop in gear without clutching in.

Or while stopped; put the car in gear, and let off the clutch with no throttle.

What I usually do when sitting on the sidelines to quiet the engine while I watch.

Wow, I was late (two minutes) answering dsgerbc's question.

Anyway, I forgot to mention that I have a Fanatec CSR, and I'll be running matte light silver and matte dark silver.

Tell her its broken. That's what I do.

I'll go down as a maybe for a couple of reasons. Not sure I'll be in town that weekend, and I just got my G27 and have zero practice with the shifter. I'll keep an eye on the thread in the meantime.

Put me down for this please. Really great idea for an all H pattern event! I'll either be using the Elite/TH8RS or CSW/TH8RS hopefully the latter will be out of the shop by then

Edit I just realised it'll be 2am here and although night racing would fit the theme great I doubt I'd manage it that late guys.
Good luck with the event!

Sounds I may have to do another one on a Saturday afternoon. Like 12pm EST. ;)

How many would be interested in adding a second round on February 9th @ 12pm EST?

I'll race Monday Feb 4th if I'm not called in to work.

Oshawa-Joe / G27 / Silver Chrome and Rouge Lucifer wheels.

Edit, car is painted and waiting in line for Bob.

Awesome! Grid is filling up with some super clean and fun racers.

FWIW Mics will be on! I wanna hear some cursing over missed gears. Hopefully I don't get to laughing and have to pull over.

I would be!

I am in for Saturday event for sure. 1pm EST is better but I am not picky. I can drag myself out of bed for something as epic as this for sure. I could easily get a handful of other drivers at this time slot as well.

I don't own this car yet. Is it pretty powerful?

Nah. Very well balanced and easy to drive on race hards. We ran a series using sport softs and it was about perfect. The race hards will help with shifting down to hard and losing rear. Or any other stuff that can happen when banging gears on GT5.

Fully Broken in:
177 HP @ 7500rpm
133 TQ @ 5000rpm
481 PP
