Wouldn't it be + 40 for qualifying for each race? I don't really know because I haven't run this before
The event only has one qualifying event at the 1st track. After the first race we use reverse grid for the next three races. Take a look at the first post for all the details.

Temp line up, let me know if anything looks off:

FF - Fiat Punto HGT Abarth '00
MGT PP - 343
My PP - 356

FR - Scion FR-S '12
MGT - 413
My PP - 408

MR - Hommell Berlinette R/S Coupe '99
MGT - 391
My PP - 401

4WD - VW Golf R32 '03
MGT - 421
My PP - 430

Total PP of highest number for each car: 1600

Edit: Oh and my colors are blue with black wheels

I'll be racing this saturday. I'm sure my lineup will need some major changes with the new/old PP formula, so I'll check it and post the changes asap.

I won't be able to make Saturday.:( Gonna be in Atlanta all weekend for the SuperCross. I couldn't do Saturday anyway, I run the Endurance on Saturday nights.:) Any day but that one will work for me.

I am compiling a list of days that work for people based on what they have said in the thread, while in a lobby or have signed up to to take part in a race on that day. It is on the Performance Cap spreadsheet. It looks like Monday is the most open with Saturday being second. Please let me know if any other days work for you or any days that I have you down for that actually do not work for you.

I can't do Fridays at the moment since I'm in STaTS this season.

If possible, it'd be ideal if we could run this on a day that's not already occupied by another event. That way nobody would have to choose between two events. I don't see a problem with occasionally running this on the same night as another event, but it's a bit little different if we're selecting a permanent night for this.

While Monday is currently the only night without a scheduled event, Tuesday may be a possibility as well since I'm not sure if dadneyd is still planning to continue his endurance series (I'll check with him on that).

I am still up for Saturday night, since Armedmen got the Golf VI already having to redo my line up. Will have it saturday morning or maybe tonight.
Tentative :
VW Scirocco R'10
Vauxhall VX220 ’00
Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 ’85
Triumph Spitfire 1500 ’74

* DZ... there is a stomach Flu going around (hint hint) LOL

Yea I was thinking more ways to limit the Rabbits and Turtles. Say for 1600 PP cap the average is 400PP so do a min and max of say +- 15% so cars must be between 340-460PP but still average 400PP.

Does this mean that my Samba Bus is forbidden? :dunce:

I did? I'm not racin this weekend, sisters sweet sixteen

So no PP range limit to keep people from running a 150PP car and three high PP cars?

This was part of my strategy to run a All German line up; but not sure if it will be frowned upon or not; and if we do, where do we draw the line.

1st race some racers had sub 320PP cars right?

Lets put no limit for Saturday and then discuss. I think losing a bit of choice will make the night more fun but I want to gauge how it actually goes. Also I want to make sure there is more than one strategy that will win.

Well the idea is to promote close racing I suppose? If people run a 200PP Carol at Daytona and then run three 466PP cars then they might dominate the night. Or a 200PP a 300PP, a 500PP and a 600PP. It could get crazy.

Just thinking a limit to the bottom PP and top PP might promote closer racing.

This probably would have been my lineup if I could attend:
FF - TRD Celica Sports M '00 (405PP)
FR - Mazda MX-5 1600 NR-A '04 (363PP)
MR/RR - DeLorean S2 '04 (412PP)
4WD - Alfa Romeo Brera '06 (416PP)

I totally understand not wanting to double up. Unfortunately I can not do Monday or Tuesday:( if I can find a race director I will make sure racing can take place on Monday or Tuesday. But that still leaves me sol. The reason I think Saturday would not be bad is that the current event is an enduro running a RM car. That is very different than running 400pp mostly street cars in short races.

Other than just running it randomly or not taking part I am not sure how else I can do this if I do not try to run it on a day that works for me.

If it runs on Monday or tuesday I might be able to direct. You're still sol but if it comes to that then I'm in. If it's Saturday then I'm out unfortunately.

If you are willing to direct then Mondays should be doable with a good size grid. Saturday could be a secondary day or the second day could hop around a bit. I would still do al the organizing so really just need someone to run things during the race on Monday including scores and replays. If you are up for it lets just get it started:)

Alright guys, I've completely changed my lineup to account for the new/old pp values. Idk if all of the cars are fully broken in, so I left a few pp on the table just in case.

FF - Ford Taurus SHO '98 (405 pp)
FR - Chevy Camaro IROC-Z Concept '88 (421 pp)
4WD - Suzuki Wagon R RR '98 (302 pp)
MR - Honda NSX Type S Zero '99 (460 pp)

having pp caps would take away from strategy. i know that reguardless of what ff i use im not gonna be fast enough to win any races, so why should i have to waste my points on ff if im not going to be competitive reguardless. (that was my thought process for picking 2cv). if there are enough people in this can end up biting me in the but tho, its a pretty damn big risk

I guess the deal is when you pick a very low PP car then you almost guarantee a last place finish. But you aren't guaranteeing a win with your other cars :)

yea, its a really bad strategy probably if more than 5 or 6 people are driving, because getting last with 5 people ill still get 11 points, last with 16 people will only be 1 point

I'm going to shoot for consistency all night and see how it works. Here is my lineup. Mind you that it was put together with almost no testing. I'll do that part later.

FF - Focus ST 170 '03 (392pp)
FR - Roadster 1800 RS (NB) '00 (385pp)
MR - Opel Speedster '00 (410pp)
AWD - Audi S3 '02 (412pp)

Total PP = 1599
